Summary: Think about this...who determined the size of the miracle? Who decided how much food was there that day? Did the miracle happen in Jesus hands, or in the hands of the disciples and the people?

Now That...is "Crazy Generous!"

Has anyone noticed, or maybe it's just me lately..but it's seems like everywhere

You eat at..at least the fast food establishments.

They all ask the same question..Do you want to make that a large?

Do you want to make that a Biggie..

They all have there own name for it!

You know..let me supersize that, with a bigger..

more generous..helping of what you're wanting today?

We are a Blessed People, living in a Blessed Nation!

All for the asking we can have as much or as little we want to have!

We get to decide, we are the deciders!

Lean over and tell your neighbor..I am a decider!

The logical response when asked, would be..to get all the value possible!

Yes I would like more please!

Supersize me!

If we are that way in the natural, then doesn't it make you wonder..

why aren't we that way when it comes to the things that God has to offer us..

in the supernatural..in the spiritual realm!

I know you have probably seen the Vonage commercials...

You know..the ones that say, that's crazy generous!

But really, if you think about it, That's what God is all about..

He says, with those needs, wants, dreams and desires you have..

Would you like for me to "Super Size" those for you today...

Do you know...it's just as easy for Him

To bless you a lot..as it is to bless you a little.

In fact, it's probably easier to..because you see, a lot requires no measurement..it's just like a big heaping shovel full!

Or it's like a dump truck running over...the driver says..does it matter where we dump it...

nope, they said they would take all we could deliver..just keep dumping it everywhere! Amen? Amen!

However, a little..takes a little more precise measurement...

you know similar to baking needs..let's say, now be sure to only add 2/3 of a cup of flour..or it will be to much...measure twice, add once!

We're the ones who decide..our words have enormous power! Amen?

Illus..In 1998, Larry Page and Sergey Brin picked the number one followed by 100 zeroes while they were still graduate students at Stanford University. That number in mathematical terms is called a googol, and that became the name of their new enterprise. Today, Google operates the largest search engine in the world with internet users performing hundreds of millions searches a day.

Jim Reese, chief operations engineer of Google, says this about Brin and Page: "It takes a lot of confidence and courage to go ahead and do that [i.e., to be that big]. It's rare to find people who think on such a grand scale and are able to create a great product at the same time." (FreshMinistry.org, 11-5-02)

Google's founders were dreamers, and that's what it takes to accomplish great things. It takes a great dream to do great things, and that's true not only in business but also in the ministry to which God has called us, to be a part of!

And just so you know, anyone who can lift up the name of Jesus..has a ministry!

Ephesians 3:20 NKJ

20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly (just so you know..that's more than a googol) above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

Ephesians 3:20-21 MSG

20-21 God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.

Glory to God in the church!

Glory to God in the Messiah, in Jesus!

Glory down all the generations!

Glory through all millennia! Oh, yes!

Most people only ask for, what they think they can do and accomplish for themselves, if it came right down to it!

That way, they think that they will never be let down or disappointed..

Did it say, that you could do anything?

No, it's the Holy Spirit, the power of God, working within us!

If it's not up to us..to make things happen in the first place,

Then why would you base your request on your ability?

When we set out to do things in life..they should be based

on Gods ability, not ours.

We will never experience the miraculous in our lives, if we only hold ourselves to our own standards of what we are capable of...no matter how much effort we give!

On the surface, things never look simple to us...

But the question I ask this morning..

who's eyes are we looking through, when we make that observation?

Clearly, there not Gods eyes..cause if they were,

we would only see the (googol) possibilities available to us...

instead of all the impossibilities! Amen? Amen!

2 Corinthians 1:20-22 MSG

20-22 Whatever God has promised gets stamped with the Yes of Jesus. In him, this is what we preach and pray, the great Amen, God’s Yes and our Yes together, gloriously evident. God affirms us, making us a sure thing in Christ, putting his Yes within us. By his Spirit he has stamped us with his eternal pledge—a sure beginning of what he is destined to complete.

If God ask you to do something..don't you think He will equip you to do it?

Sure He Will..and our relationship with Jesus is what makes it possible in the first place.

Our relationship with Jesus is key to everything we receive from our Loving Abba Father. TBS. It's the only way!

John 14:6 NKJ

6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Jesus is what makes it all possible..

So many times we want to look to the left

And to the right, or we find ourselves looking inward..

What we should always be doing..is looking to Jesus!

Keeping our focus on Him! Amen?

The disciples were caught doing this on more than one occasion and they were about as, up close and personnel as could be with Jesus?

They were looking inward at their capabilities instead of His,

they were human..and Jesus helped them see their mistake..

the good news is, He will do the same for you and I! Amen?

Now I want to say, what I'm saying is the way we need to be with Jesus..is exactly the way He was, with His Father..

He kept His eyes and attention focused on what His Fathers instructions were at all times. Amen?

John 5:19-20 MSG

19-20 So Jesus explained himself at length. “I’m telling you this straight. The Son can’t independently do a thing, only what he sees the Father doing. What the Father does, the Son does. The Father loves the Son and includes him in everything he is doing.

How does a father include his son in everything that he is doing?

He lets him in on the plan...he communicates with him...

He tells him the plan and what he wants his son to do and how he wants things done..He lays it all out!

And probably the most important lesson we learn is..not only does the son listen,

but he also follows through and does what he's told!

Amen? Well come on now!

There has to be communication, obedience and action for it to work..Right?

John 5:1-6 MSG

1-6. Soon another Feast came around and Jesus was back in Jerusalem. Near the Sheep Gate in Jerusalem there was a pool, in Hebrew called Bethesda, with five alcoves. Hundreds of sick people—blind, crippled, paralyzed—were in these alcoves. One man had been an invalid there for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him stretched out by the pool and knew how long he had been there, he said, “Do you want to get well?”

There were Hundreds of sick people—blind, crippled, paralyzed...now do suppose Jesus just picked this man out by accident?

He already knew what the need was..and He had the ability to heal every need in that place that day!

But the answer to the question is No..He was only doing what His Father was instructing Him to do!

He was asking the man point blank...

Do you want me to super size your request?

His request wasn't to be healed..but to be put into the waters, so he would be healed

Vs. 7. The sick man said, “Sir, when the water is stirred, I don’t have anybody to put me in the pool. By the time I get there, somebody else is already in.”

8-9 Jesus said, “Get up, take your bedroll, start walking.” The man was healed on the spot. He picked up his bedroll and walked off.

Sometimes the only response Jesus is looking for..if were focused on Him and what He is saying..is a one word faith filled statement of Yes!

Let's jump over to Matthew 14:13-21 MSG

13-14 When Jesus got the news, he slipped away by boat to an out-of-the-way place by himself. But unsuccessfully—someone saw him and the word got around. Soon a lot of people from the nearby villages walked around the lake to where he was. When he saw them coming, he was overcome with pity and healed their sick.

(the NIV says compassion) compassion defined:

a feeling of deep sympathy and sorrow for another who is stricken by misfortune, accompanied by a strong desire to alleviate the suffering.

Notice..before His Father had instructed Him to only heal the paralyzed man by the pool...

But this time, here His Father had instructed Him to heal their sick...not just some of them but all of them!

TBS.(the bible says) healed their sick! How many were there..didn't matter, He healed everyone of them!!

15 Toward evening the disciples approached him. “We’re out in the country and it’s getting late. Dismiss the people so they can go to the villages and get some supper.”

16 But Jesus said, “There is no need to dismiss them. You give them supper.”

Now Keep in mind here..Jesus was only doing exactly, what His Father was telling Him to do!

You can just imagine what they thought when He said, "No" your not sending them away on an empty stomach.."you feed them!"

They had no idea, but class was clearly in session and they were about to be taught a lesson in obedience and the miracle of "Super Sizing" that was going to resonate from it!

17 “All we have are five loaves of bread and two fish,” they said.

18-21 Jesus said, “Bring them here.” Then he had the people sit on the grass. He took the five loaves and two fish, lifted his face to heaven in prayer, blessed, broke, and gave the bread to the disciples.

(Again, He was doing exactly what God the Father, was telling Him to do!)

Everything from telling them how to sit on the grass, the way He prayed, blessed, broke and gave the bread to the disciples! Complete obedience! Amen?

The word goes on to say: The disciples then gave the food to the congregation. They all ate their fill.

And when all was said and done...

They gathered twelve baskets of leftovers. About five thousand were fed.

5,000, not including women and children!

That's a lot of food.."What an amazing miracle!"

But here's something else I want you to think about..along with the size of the miracle,

who determined the size of the miracle?

Who decided how much food was there that day?

Did the miracle happen in Jesus hands, or in the hands of the disciples and the people?

The miracle began in Jesus hands, but the multiplied blessing

took place in the disciples hands as they dispersed it to the people!

As the appetite of the crowd was present..so was the miracle of abundance, the super sizing ability..

to not only fill that need..but to exceed it as well!

Think about it, it must have taken more than a semi full of food to meet the need that day!

The word doesn't say Jesus handed them a semi full..it said He handed them the the young lads lunch, (two fish and five loaves) after He had blessed it!

Like the story in 2 Kings, Chapter 4 with the cruz of oil that kept producing oil for the widow and her two sons,

until all the vessels they had collected were filled and overflowing.

So did the two fish and the loaves of bread keep producing and reproducing until every appetite was filled to the full! Amen?

And I can just imagine how extra good the meal was that day...can't you?

God never does anything half way, no doubt it was the best tasting meal they had ever had in their entire lives!

One thing a lot of us can relate to, is going to a buffet when the food is exceptional

And eating way to much.

I imagine that's how it was that day.."oh I am stuffed, but this tastes so good, just one more bite"

and until the very last person said I've had enough, I've had my fill...only then did the miracle stop...

Can somebody give a shout up in this place, to the God of...Not of barely get by..

but to the "Super Size God of Always More Than Enough And Then Some!!"

Ephesians 3:20-21 NKJ

20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

God stands ready today, through His Son Jesus, to do the same in your life...

Not by your might..but if you know Him as Saviour...by the Power of the Mighty Holy Spirit that lives within you!

Keep your eyes and ears tuned to Jesus..

Don't look to the right or left, only focus on Him

and for The Holy Spirits prompting!

He is ready to move in your situation and make you a conqueror over it and not let you be conquered by it!

To let you experience the Love and the Peace of God,

that passes all understanding that can never be taken away a from you

Romans 8:37-39 NKJ

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

No matter what your facing or will ever face..Gods Love for you is still stronger..and will help you..

every time to triumph over the obstacle when you ask Him to!

Believe and apply this word to your life today..

And let the limitless supersize power of God work in your life,

In every area of your life!

Amen? Let us pray!

Thanks to Kenneth Copeland, for the scripture and idea.

But most of all thanks to God, who continues to Bless in my Life, through my relationship with His Son Jesus and His Holy Spirit working relentlessly, in my life!
