To show that reminding the LORD is one way of developing our relationship with Him, that causes our hope and faith to grow.

Psalms 119:49 (Amplified Bible)
119:49 Remember [fervently] the word and promise to Your servant, in which You have caused me to hope.
V. THESIS:
Praise, worship and thank You very much LORD JESUS for You have caused me to hope and have faith in You by letting me remember Your promises to me.

A. Remember Your Promises
"Remember [fervently] the word and promise to Your servant,"
Remember or "zakar" in Hebrew meaning:
1. to mention
2. to mark
3. to record
4. to bring or call to remembrance
Word or "dabar" in Hebrew meaning:
1. a cause
2. advice
3. affair
4. decree, deed
We remind the LORD of our love affair with Him. It's purely relationship. When we pray, we remind the LORD not because the LORD forgets but because we build our relationship with the LORD. And communication is one part of a relationship. When we remind, we use our mouth to talk with GOD.

105:2 Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; meditate on and talk of all His marvelous deeds and devoutly praise them.

If any human being don't have any hope, it's more tragic than a dead person, because while we live there's hope of knowing the LORD and getting saved.
