Summary: Is Jesus the Savior of the world? Has he really come on this Christmas Eve that we celebrate ?Was he sent of God? Was he the Messiah the world was looking for? This one line from Mathew. will reveal to us.today the truth.

CHRIST THE SAVIOR ON CHRISTMAS.

Mt.1:1.The book of the generation of Jesus Christ the son of David the son of Abraham.’ Is Jesus the savior of the world? Has he come on this Christmas eve that we celebrate ?Was he sent of God? was he the Messiah the world was looking for? This one line from Mathew. will reveal to us.today.Not that we don’t know, but it rejoices our heart to see how the prophecies direct to him alone. You know how it is. You can reach to one person in the entire world thru letter. You can just write his name and his address, and that is sufficient for the mail to cross millions and reach to that one person. How does it start? first you select from all nations of the world, one country where he lives.India.and so we eliminate all other countries. Then we select the state, and eliminate all other states. then point out that one city, and eliminate all other cities, then we point to the very house he lives and eliminate even his close relatives. and reach to his house. and to his person. In the same way, and same principles God, has given us sufficient proof and details in the O.T.concerning the coming Messiah, and by doing that God has enabled us to pick one from all history, from all nations, from all people. and be absolutely sure that he is the Messiah. Let us on this Christmas eve carefully examine his credentials. and get to his proper address and to the person himself. Once we go thru it you will come to know very clearly that no other person in the history of the world could fulfill all the Messianic predictions, or even a very small percentage of them except Jesus of Nazareth. In the first place God eliminated the entire male population of the world as the immediate parent of the Messiah and at the same time he made it clear the Messiah would come as a man not an angel. For the day Adam and Eve sinned. he promised them that the coming deliverer would be of “the seed of the woman.”Gen.3:15.Here God was preparing Isaiah.to come with a prophecy of a virgin birth of Christ.bt here he gave the gospel message too.He said.”It shall bruise thy head.”tht speaks of the Messiah’s sufferings. He would be a man of sorrow. he would be wounded for our transgression, he would be bruised for our iniquities, and the chastisement of our peace would be upon him and by his stripes we would be healed.bt the death would not culminate the plan of Gd.he would rise up as victorious. for He also said “it (Messiah) shall bruise thy head.’ That speaks of the victory that Jesus will have over sin and death and Satan. Praise Gd.if you have the spirit you can get a complete salvation.message in Gen.3:15.When God said that. Adam and Eve understood this message, tht is why Eve at the birth of her son said. “I have gotten a man from the lord.”(Gen.4:1).when her first born arrived, Eve thought that the promised deliverer had come. But she was mistaken as to the time, and place, and many other specifications. Many centuries must pass before the Messiah could come, There has to be a fullness of time, and it came it happened, after 4000 yrs.Eve knew not it would take tht much time.so Paul says. “bt when the fullness of time had come,Gd sent forth his son, made of a woman to redeem…”(Gal.4:4-5). Yu know how it all happened.Gd chose Noah, while the whole then world was destroyed. So surely out of Noah the Messiah should come. Now Noah had 3 sons.Shem,Ham,and Japeth.God said, that the Messiah must come thru Shem.Noah said it. “Blessed be Yehovah the Elohim of Shem.”You know how when Noah ws drunk the youngest mocked. There Gd made a choice from the fmly of Noah.It is thru the line of Shem,Noah’s first born, tht both the Heb.nation and the Messiah ws born.”Shem”means to indicate tht he should be noted. This prophecy ws fulfilled in Gods choice of Abraham and of Israel, tht is Shem’s descendants.Shem must have written the entire geneology.for his life span covered 98yrs before the flood, until 502 after the flood, which means that he lived until 75 years after Abraham entered Canaan.Gen.10;21 says “he is the father of all the children of Eber” the term Hebrew is derived from the name Eber, and Eber also means “to pass over.”Did yu see tht?tht is why bible says “when Noah awaked from his sleep. He didn’t awake from his drinks,bt,awoke by inspiration by a spirit of prophecy. He said.”Blessed be the lord Gd of Shem.”(Gen.9:26).You saw how all other hundreds of nations were eliminated and one nation was chosen? a new nation started by God himself. when he called out Abram saying leave your kindred your family and your land. did you see that? the land was discarded, the family was discarded, relatives were discarded. So the God of history divides the nations in two groups. Jews and gentiles. There are only two groups now. Jews who believe. in God thru the lord Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection, and gentiles, who believe/not believe in Gd,bt not thru the Lord Jesus Christ. Now thru the small nation of Israel the Messiah, the God in flesh shall come. Praise Gd.Now isn’t it interesting who could it be? Now listen let us go back to Abraham.God said. “Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee. And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”(Gen.12:1,3).

Now look at the prophecy of God. Now Abraham had several sons. including Ishmael his first born son. and even Isaac another choice had to be made. who shall it be? So now the Messianic story slowly unfolds in the O.T.first the Messiah must be of the seed of the woman, coming thru the line of Shem.and be the seed of Abraham. Till here it is clear.Tht narrows our search for the Messiah. We now know that we must look for him in the Jewish race, Like the wise men we need to look for him in Jerusalem. He should be the descendent of Abraham. Now Ishmael was there and Isaac was there, and many other sons. Now women are out, because it would be a man. So we stop looking there. One day God told Abraham. go to the Mt.Moriah and offer your only son whom you love.Abraham.took his son on the Mt.Abraham.must have asked. which son Lord? God must have said.Isaac, becos he was of the Jewish parents Abraham. and Sarah. while Ishmael was of Hagar and Abraham. so many thought.tht Isaac can never be the seed. for he was going to die on the altar.bt there as Abraham.picked his knife to strike his son.Gd stopped him. and Abraham.named it Jehovah Jireh.tht means in the “mount of the lord it shall be seen.” in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which [is] upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;”(Gen.22:17,18).Now here is the gospel message. thru that one seed, all the nations (that includes Jews and gentiles) of the whole earth shall be blessed. So here is the further revelation given by God.tht there wont be many Messiah’s. many gods,bt one lord, One savior. and he would be the seed of Abraham. and he will save not only Jews bt even gentiles. There we find God giving him a great land, the land of Israel, and there he would bless the world thru the seed. A great nation was created by God, with a purpose to be the light of the world, to be the religious centre of the world. who will carry the oracles of Gd,who will fulfill the plan of Gd.that the Messiah would come first to them, and thru them to the world. The prediction is a fact, written down in the O.T.for all to see.Nothing is hidden. In fact it is in the first book of the bible.the book of Genesis, unchanged for thousands of yrs.God did make Abraham.in to a great nation giving Canaan to the Jews under the conquest of Joshua.Gal.3:8.answers it in this manner. “And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, [saying], In thee shall all nations be blessed.”

Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.(Gal.3:16).Now shall we go to the beginning passage. “the book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.”we finished with Abr,and then we came to Isaac. Now listen how it happened.Abram wanted a son.He cried to Gd and said.O tht Ishmael might live before thee.”(Gen.17:18).For God had said to him.You shall not be called “Abram” (high father) but Abraham (father of all nations).and Sarai(my princess),will be called Sarah.(princess,to the whole world). And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, [and] with his seed after him. “In Isaac shall thy seed be called.’(Heb.11:18).So tht ws settled. Not thru Ishmael, thru whom we have the Arabs.Tht narrows the line still more.God spoke to Jaocb. “And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;(Gen.26:4).Now Isaac too had two sons.Esau and Jacob. Now the Messianic line must be further narrowed. Now who can it be?Yu know how Jacob had to leave his house, and there at Bethel.God visited him and said. “And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I [am] the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed; And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.”(Gen.28:13,14).In the meantime,Gd ws speaking thru Balaam a prophet of Gd in the beginning and he said. “I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth.. Out of Jacob shall come he that shall have dominion, and shall destroy him that remaineth of the city.”(Num.24:17,19).

Now we come back to Jacob. He had twelve sons. Now thru which son would the Messiah come? So God had to make another choice. “Moreover he refused the tabernacle of Joseph, and chose not the tribe of Ephraim: But chose the tribe of Judah, the mount Zion which he loved.”(Ps.78:67, 68). Now Judah is selected. So the Messiah cannot come from the eleven tribes. “Judah, thou [art he] whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand [shall be] in the neck of thine enemies; thy father's children shall bow down before thee. The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him [shall] the gathering of the people [be].(Gen.49:8,10). “For Judah prevailed above his brethren, and of him [came] the chief ruler; but the birthright [was] Joseph's:)”(1Chro.5:2). “For [it is] evident that our Lord sprang out of Judah;(Heb.7:14).Now another prob.lay.the tribe of Judah consisted of many families.so another choice must be made to come to one family from the tribe of Judah. Isa.prophesied. “And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;”(Isa.11:1,2).

This word “rod” appears in one passage in Prov.14:3.it means a ‘twig/a shoot which starts from the roots of a cut down tree stump. That means God will take a person of no standing a mere stump of a tree that is cut down, and engraft new life in to it. Jesse was not the head of the royal family, until God made him a father of a king (David),and put him in the Messianic line. Did you see that? Now we got it that it would be the line of Jesse.bt another thing is, Jesse had 8 sons. So another divine choice from God should be made. Now God had rejected Saul as the king. So God said. go to the house of Jesse, and there I will show you my king, that shall be my choice. so all the sons were called. and Samuel thought.Eliab was the one.Gd said not tht one,nor anyone that stands by you. There is David.who is tending the sheep. “Now he [was] ruddy, [and] withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this [is] he.”(1Sam.16:12).So David was chosen. Praise Gd.Now we are coming close to Christmas. One after the other,Gd is passing thru them all, and is raising up his Messiah for Christmas. We are nearing Christmas. Israel is ready. the angels are ready the choir is ready. They have been briefed, about it all. Now we are coming to the climax of it all. The devil is searching out. who can it be? Now David too had many sons. who could it be?Amnon the first born,Daniel,or Absolom?he had six sons of Hebron(there they were born) and other sons nine of them born in Jerusalem, and still others. Now listen, out of the whole family will it be Bathsheba’s children or Abigail's children? Now it becomes complicated.bt David loved Bathsheba,it ws Gd who made it that way.Like Abraham.loved Sarah than Hagar. One day, when David ws old.Gd spoke to him. “ And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever.(2Sam.7:13).Now David knew it would be Solomon.“And of all my sons, (for the LORD hath given me many sons,) he hath chosen Solomon my son to sit upon the throne of the kingdom of the LORD over Israel.(1.Chro.28:5).Tht sealed the whole thing. It would be Solomon.

“And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her [that had been the wife] of Urias;”(Mt.1:6).Let me tell you, during bible times. every Jew could trace his geneology.so the entire population of Israel’s reckoned by genealogies.Neh.7.says these records were kept in the cities. and were public properity. These were national genealogical records which were carefully kept until the destruction of the temple in AD.70.why till A.D.70?why was it destroyed only later? There has to be a purpose. So that none can deny the genealogies of the Messiah that God had planned it right from the time of Adam and Eve.Praise Gd.It was kept intact so that that authenticity of the Savior of the world, the Messiah could be preserved and given to those of us in the world, especially to those who would become the family members of Christ. After the destruction of the temple the Jews were dispersed to the four corners of the world, and were not to return again until the end of time. This happened in 1947 & 1948 This shows that we are living on the brink of the rapture. it is at the threshold. Because of the genealogies of our Lord Jesus Christ given in the bible records, which were not lost, till it could all be made in to a bible, it is an indisputable fact that no one in this world or any other world if it be so could be the Messiah the savior of the world, except for the lord Jesus Christ the son of Gd.For that the Messiah had to come before 70 A.D.or then his genealogies would be lost. So those who say the Messiah will come, are wrong. Now there are so many other prophecies besides this that has to come to pass. It was also said by Isaiah.tht he would be born of a virgin. and since the Messiah must be of the fruit of David’s body, tht means, tht this virgin must be a direct descendant of King David. “the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”(Isa.7:14).Some translations have “a young woman.” but the Hebrew word “almah”means a young virgin. the same word is used for Moses sister a young maid/or girl.in (Est.2:8).Isn’t it remarkable also that whenever the birth of the Messiah is spoken in the O.T.reference is made to his mother, or the womb not to the father.Isa.49;1,5. lord has called me from the womb.” Now many were born from the line of Solomon. In fact that complicated more further, becos he had seven hundred wives, and three hundred concubines. God did not sanction it,bt God allowed it. allowance is not the same as approval. Solomon’s marital decisions were in direct violation of Gds law, and there were consequences. His wives turned his heart away from God. And you can imagine how many children he must have had. Who will be the chosen one? Now in those times, after the prophecy came from Isa. many virgins were expecting to be the blessed among women. Each one waited for God to speak to them. Years rolled. yet they waited.tht there would be an angelic visitation. There was a silence of 400 yrs.when people were pressed by the Iron rule of the Romans, they were craving for the Messiah.bt those who studied the stars, knew something was happening. for these were the Persians, the Magis.the wise men,who studied the stars, who were influenced by David, their chief. They saw the star in the east. and knew that the king is born. They were studying the stars. There was this simple young maid. named Mary, and she lived in Nazareth. Mary is another form of Miriam, the famous sister of Moses. This name was very common among Jewish women in those days. She was born in Nazareth and lived there with her parents, but we don’t know who her parents were, we only know her cousin Elizabeth and her husband,Zechariah. She must have lived in the staunch Jewish settlement of Nazareth in the hills of Galilee. not far from the imp. caravan routes linking Egypt and Mesopotamia. the hill climate there was dry. the land lacked water, it all depended on the rain, and locusts and field mice would spoil the crops. In fact they really struggled for a living. Today Nazareth is different. You see most of the Muslims settled there, and there you will also see the tall spire which is the basilica of the annunciation church. There is a beautiful church built on this place. In the time of Jesus this unknown place had a population of less than 200.Very little is known of Nazareth from outside sources. Only the New.tes.speaks of Nazareth,bt it was never mentioned before. This village was an agriculture based. Here the angel came to announce the birth of Jesus. There is a cave, and close by is Mary’s well, where Mary must have gone with other girls/women to fill water. In those times, they were struggling for a living and that deepened their religious spirit. They learned you must depend on God always. Mary was a woman of rural Galilee. she must have lived in a small family house of stone and mud-brick. she must have worked like any young girl, grinding wheat and barley in to flour, preparing dishes of beans, vegetables, eggs, fruits, nuts, and occasional chunks of mutton. Wool had to be made into clothing. Bread had to be baked. A few chickens and a donkey had to be fed. And in the village, small as it was, there were always little children to care for. Almost daily she must have carried a large jar of water from the town well for washing and cooking (the well still supplies modern Nazareth today and is called "Mary's Well"). Early on, the Jews found that cleanliness prevented disease, so frequent washing -- an important chore of women -- became part of their religious practice. The well also was a favorite spot where women talked and traded bits of everyday news. They had seasons and times of harvest and they had to do certain things in season. with the first downpour of rain in October, the wheat crop was sown on the mountain fields, and then to be gathered in May. then there were those small dark olives which were knocked from trees in September, they had to be pressed into oil for lamps and food. then in May or June early figs were picked, then in July the softer fruit. grapes and pomegranates ripened in Sept, and Oct.O God had blessed the hills of Galilee, with his bounty. Nazareth was a small sleepy village.bt she must have been well versed with the deeds of the kings like David and Solomon. and the words of prophets like Isaiah. and Elijah. Though Roman soldiers were occupying yet she must have known that one day,Gd will send his Messiah, and he would free them from their enemies. The tax was too high then. She must have not even known that she was going to enter history. Maybe her parents decided that she should get married around the age of 15,16.they chose Joseph the carpenter, the engagement took place and Mary returned home to wait about a year for the marriage.Bt then it happened. The angel Gabriel visited her small town. and said.” Rejoice highly favored the lord is with you.”O she ws greatly disturbed. “And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David :”(Lk.1:30-32).What did she say? “Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?” she said I am a virgin. did you see the Prophecy coming to be fulfilled.Gd had finally reached to the right woman. Right from the first woman Eve, who four thousand yrs back said. I got a man from the lord.” She thought she is the blessed one.bt it had taken 4000 yrs,and God reached to the final woman. a virgin. she was Mary. Beloved now God has reached the woman. The angel said. The Holy ghost shall come upon you 'and the power of the Most High will cover you with its shadow. And so the child will be holy and will be called Son of God'I am the handmaid of the Lord,' said Mary. 'Let what you have said be done to me.'The gospels were compiled later after these events at Nazareth.O wht joy must hve filled the young girls soul, when she conceived the child by the power of the Holy spirit.bt when the angel left, she ws left alone.Nazareth ws unaware of the angels visit. It ws the same old Nazereth, men tended the fields, the aroma of fresh bread filled in the village air, women talked at the well.the word of Gd ws made flesh,bt the people of Nazareth saw nothing changed. In their eyes, Mary was still a young girl of 16, espoused to Joseph the carpenter. Once the angel left, Mary faced some troubling questions with only faith to guide her. What about her marriage to Joseph? Since she was bearing a child that was not his, Mary had to face the anguishing prospect of divorce and the shame it could bring down upon her in a small town that frowned on an unfaithful wife. Even though he had a high regard for her, how could she explain to Joseph the mysterious act of God and an angel no one else saw? The threat was removed when the angel appeared to Joseph in a dream and said: "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because she has conceived by the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a Son and you must name him Jesus." When Joseph woke, he took Mary as his wife to his home. Together they would do what God would have them do.Beloved wht do you see?a perfect fulfillment,of the word of Gd.The Messiah ws truly the seed of the woman mentioned in Gen.3:15,16.the son of David, the son of Abraham.Mt.1:1.Beloved,Jesus alone is the promised savior. Now don’t look for him anywhere else.He is the One.the lord and savior.Yu hve found him.Even the place he would be born ws given. In Bethlehem it ws said.in Mic.5:2.Thou Bethlehem Ephraith tho thou were the smallest among the thousands of Judah yet out of thee shall come forth the ruler, whose goings forth have been from old even from everlasting.” Praise Gd.Of all the continents one is chosen the Asian continent. Not the American contient, nor Africa, nor Australia.Gd has a plan. Of all countries it is Israel, of all cities it is Bethlehem. O come let us worship our Savior. Just imagine until shortly Mary was living in the wrong place, her baby was going to be born in the wrong place. a report was written and it was found, tht there were three taxes in those times, and actually the second taxation was ordered four yrs before the birth of Jesus. The proud Jews didn’t like the idea of this tax, so they sent a commission to Rome to protest it. Those were slow days, of communications and travel. and when the final result came it was said they had to pay the tax,bt by the time province by province was taken, it was very late, and also because of the protests, and by the time Judea could receive it the exact time had come for Mary for the birth of Baby Jesus. Neither Mary nor Ceaser, nor the Roman tax collectors did the timing, nor were they in charge of affairs,bt the God who rules and runs the world behind the scenes had the hand on the stern and he literally moved the people of the world and timed everything to the very day, so that Mary and Joseph got to Bethlehem at the nick of time, tht Jesus the Messiah would be born in the right place., designated by the finger of prophecy. Blind is the man who cant see, or who refuses to see the divine hand of God detailing everything, and executing it to the very T. Of all generations of earths history the Messiah had to come where Jesus was born. All before Jesus time are eliminated, and after his time are disqualified and since Jesus of Nazareth had no competetor, in his generation, the finger of prophecy pointed only to HIM.Again it was written “in Gen.49:10. The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him [shall] the gathering of the people [be]”did you see the requirement now? the tribal identity of Judah shall not pass away, till the Messiah comes.Becos by that time all other tribes scattered and lost away, and so it was thought that Judah will pass away, and Jesus would fail to fulfill that prophecy. “Shiloh”is the name of the Messiah.it means “peace/sent One”Tho Judah during the seventy yr of captivity in Babylon had been deprived of national soverignity they never lost their “tribal staff” and they always had their own law givers (judges) in captivity.Ezra.1:5,8.didnt you read in the bible, how even during Christ, tho Romans were lords, yet the Sanhedrin were run with their own laws and rules?they had their own temple money, they ahd their temple rules.Even Pilate said yu have yur nation and yur law judge him by it.what does it show? The Sanhedrin that yu read of during the time of Jesus,ws a council of the Sanhedrin they were some sort of court of justice for the jewish people.Bt do yu know that Jacob hd prophesied in regards to them? “The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, Until Shiloh comes; and to Him shall be the obedience of the people." (Genesis 49:10).So we read of kingship/tht is the scepter, and we read of the lawgiver. Both are different. He speaks of Jesus as the scepter of righteousness bt he also speaks of the lawgiver, and they are the Sanhedrin from Juda.Bt then during the time of Jesus we see that Judea had become the province of Rome.”and it came to pass in those days that a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered." (Luke 2:1.Bt still the council of Sanhedrin had powers,bt they gave it over to the Roman empire by saying “"Away with Him, away with Him! Crucify Him!" Pilate said to them, 'Shall I crucify your King?' The chief priests [Council of the Sanhedrin] answered, 'We have no king but Caesar!'"(Jn.19:15).How every prophecy ws fulfilled of Jesus and those around him.that the Sanhedrin still exercised its authority.Bt in AD 70.both the city and their temple were destroyed by the Roman general Titus.and the national sovernighty of the jews disappeared,bt the amazing thing is thisThe Messiah(Shiloh) came before Judah lost its tribal identity exactly as stated in Gen.49:10.Isnt it amazing! The Mesisah had to come while the second temple stood standing. “And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.”(Hag.2:7).Doesnt Malachi confirm it? “and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.”(Mal.3:1).

Can this prophecy be fulfilled and after the temple would be destroyed? How can it be?Tht means the Messiah could not have come afdter AD70.If the Messiah had to come,he ahd to come before 70AD.before the temple would be destroyed.Otherwise the prophecy of Haggai and Mal.would have failed.Even the prophecy of Zech.would have failed.for he prophesied “And the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty [pieces] of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD.”(Zech.11:13).The Psalmist informs us thru the prophetic pen that the people who should welcome the Messiah would not only say. Read it in Ps.118:26 “Blessed [be] he that cometh in the name of the LORD..(but they would also say ) we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.”That means people will come out of the house and bless him.Was this not fulfilled in the life of Jesus.on tht Palm Sunday, when he approached Jerusalem riding on the donkey, did yu see tht prophecy also came to be fulfilled by Zech.?In Mt.21:9.it says. nd the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed [is] he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest. And it says “And Jesus went into the temple of God, (v.12).did you see tht the temple existed then?It was all according to the prophecy? That means No Messiah could have come before Jesus, and No Messiah would ever come after him to die for yur sins,or save you.He is the One and only one.Bel.beloved,believe.doesnt it also say in v.15 “and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the Son of David;” didn’t Jesus speak of the prophecy of Ps.8:2 when he said. “Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength.Gd now uses children to fulfill his prediction given in Ps.How can they know it?Now if all the O.T.prophecies tht speaks of the Messiah links it with the temple, has there been a temple ever built after A.D.70 destruction of it?That means the Messiah must come while the temple stood. So who can be the Messiah bt Jesus.

Didn’t Mal.3:1.that He would come suddenly in the temple? did he come?Yes.when Mary his mother brought the child Jesus in swaddling clothes, None knew he was the Messiah. Only two.Simeon and Anna.He immediately came w/t prior information. and secondly at the age of 12 he was suddenly left back by his parents, and he spoke with the religious.leaders.they didn’t knew he was the Mesiah.didnt he come suddenly? and then miraculously a few yrs later,Gd in a dramatic show allowed the destruction of the temple and the city of Jerusalem. and today there is the dome of the rock, which silently tells us that the Messiah has already come. The Messiah had to come 2000 yrs ago before the temple could be destroyed. Either Jesus of Nazareth is the true Messiah or there is no Messiah. no prophecy, no word of Gd,No Gd.If he is not the one, we are like blobbing clouds, which are just drifting, we have no purpose.Didnt Daniel another prophet prophesy the exact date of the Messiah when he would be cut off? “And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary ;”( Dan.9:26).I can get in to this detail too,bt it would be too long. Every prophecy that was written about it is true. His ministry also was mentioned. I will just a few. It was written in Ps.78:2.He will utter dark sayings of old.” He spoke as one having authority and not as the scribes. The scribes only quoted what prophets said. Jesus said. verily verily I say unto you. It is also said. without a parable he never spoke to fulfill the prophecy. He was never defeated, he was never afraid. He healed the sick, raised the dead, walked on water. He is the light of the world, the savior of the gentiles.Gd so loved the world that he gave his only son. It made Simeon to say. Lord let your servant depart in peace for my eyes have seen the Sal. of the lord. He died for our sins, and rose on the third day, he has gone before us to prepare a place for us. what shall you do for him this Christmas. This Immanuel God with us. Are you going to fall prostrate and worship him? Are you going to give gifts to him as the wise men did? He is Aarons rod that budded. He is the Passover lamb that saved the children of Israel, he is the manna from heaven. He is the lamb of Gd. He was the brazen serpent that was lifted up in the desert, tht all who looked at him were saved.Jonah types him as being swallowed by the fish yet came out of its belly. Jesus died and rose again. The tabernacle speaks of him. Its priesthood, its offerings, its furniture, its arrangements all are symbolic of Christ The brazen altar stands as atonement of blood, laver for cleaning thru the word, the table and the shew bread a type of Christ, the golden candle stand types Christ. I could go on and on and on.But this Christmas let us think on our Christ, and live for him.Praise Gd!!!
