Summary: David teaches us some life principles, that brought forth success in his life.If you want to have good success and you want prosperity to follow you. then this is the principle you also need to apply in your life.

DELIGHTING IN THE WORD.

'I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.'( Ps.119:16).

When I study the life of David, I see there were certain principles that he applied that brought forth success in his life. We need to see these principles. David took pleasures in the word of God. In other words he was saying. Lord I relish everything you tell me. I will never forget a word. If you want to have good success and you want prosperity to follow you. then this is the principle we also need to apply in our lives. Now David was not just focusing on success, and that he would do anything that takes to be successful. No.his focus was on God. He loved God.In Ps.1.He said “But his delight is in the law of the lord, and in his law he meditates day and night.” God told Joshua the same principle.” this book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous and then you will have good success.”(Josh.1:8).These are all practical applications. If you want to have good success, then follow that law, that principle. There is no short cut but a daily life event. It is a daily meditation on the word. It is a daily improvement on the word of Gd.

1).DELIGHTING IN THE WORD OF GOD.

David is saying I relish everything you tell me in the word, I relish everything that you tell me by your spirit. I wont forget a word of it.but I will apply it in my life. “The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.”(Ps.119:72).The word cannot be delight-some unless you have love for God.If you love somebody, you delight in his letter/in his word. David loved God that is why he delighted in his word “O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day.(v.97). You know a child delights in its mother?Isa.66:11.says of a nursing child who delights in his mother. So delight may be in people/or in things/or in various experiences. When you delight in something, your thoughts are constantly turning to it, it cheers your heart, even when other things oppress you, you think of it early, often, and even late. it makes you smile to think of it,You do all that you do regarding it, purely because it is your delight. O how I love thy law. it is my meditation all the day. “I hate vain thoughts,bt thy law do I love.”Thy word is very pure, therefore thy servant loveth it.” Beloved are we true believers? Are we children of Gd? then we will be like David. Job also speaks of his delight in the law of God.”I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.” When God sees his people see how he speaks.” Hearken unto me, you that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law.” In the inward man David loved the law of God.Like Paul says “I delight in the law of God after the inward man.” Yes there is another law in his being, warring against the law of his mind.’ I will delight myself in thy statutes. David writes much on the importance of the word of God. He has great respect for the word. He writes of his practice in the word of God. A godly man, the more good he does, the more he desires, delights, and resolves to do. Spiritual affections grow upon us by practice and much exercise. The more you love God the more you delight in him, and the more you will meditate on him. David had said “Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.”(Ps.119:54).O there is blessedness in delighting in the lord. What is it? It prevents one to forget the world. It brings forth the favor of Gd.”delight thyself in the lord, and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.”(Ps.37:4). “Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live, for thy law is my delight.”(Ps.119:77).The mind will always run upon that which the heart is delighted in, and the heart is where the treasure is. If there is anything that displeases you, soon it will be forgotten, you will be even glad you forgot about it. Like when we were young boys, we used to enjoy their company, sit with them, joke with them. doing nothing. but no sooner we get a job. our focus is changed, we no more sit with them. but every time a friend wants to while away with you, you just give an excuse and go back to your work. Because something else has taken the priority, something else has become your delight. Like there are so many things that we learnt in school of which we have forgotten. it goes from one ear to the other and then out of us. The worldly man that are intent upon carnal interests forgets the word, it is not his delight. Like if anything displeases us, we are glad that we can forget it. You feel relieved from that inconveniences, that now you no more have to think about it. Like some of us say.O Praise God, I am out of school, or out of college. that my school days are over. I don’t want to remember it. Like no sooner our exams were over, our books were sold to the paperwala/junk,the very next day. we want to forget it. David said .I will delight, in the word, and never forget it. it was peace for him when he thought of the word. it was refreshing for him. David had many things to delight in. He had his splendor and magnificence of his kingdom, the throne the crown, the popularity, the women singing and dancing his praises. Like Nebuchadnezzar in Dan.4:30 who said. Is not this great Babylon that I have built, for the house of the kingdom, by the might of my power, and for the honor of my majesty?' Like Alexander the great who conquered kingdom after kingdom. and delighted in it. But then isn’t there difference, when David saw the magnificence and Nebuchadnezzar saw his magnificence? Is there not the difference of delight between one who is spiritual and bought a house, and a carnal person who also built his house? They both delight in it.but how different is the delight. Like when David played the harp. there was delight, but bible says. That chants to the sound of the viol, and invent to themselves instruments of music, like David.”(Amos.6:5).They too sang on harp. and said. let us sing like David. This was mirth for them, but for David it was delight-some. The sleep of a believer and the sleep of an unbeliever is different. when you labor for the lord and sleep at night, and when you don’t labor for the lord and sleep at night there is relaxation, but yet it is different. Wicked men may sing and dance, to appease their flesh. but David will sing and dance because he delighted in the statutes of God. He may take comfort in his house/land /his position/but it will be in a subordinate way. for the chief solace of his life, and the true joy of the all his labors, was in the word of God. Like some have joy in the things of the world. but Jeremiah said “:thy words were found, and I did eat them; they were unto me as the joy and rejoicing of my heart.' (Jer.15:16).Others rejoiced in the dainties, he rejoiced in the word. the joy for the disciples was that at least now they could go and get some food, but for Jesus, this was the joy that his meat was to do the will of the father. Paul said “I delight in the law of God in the inward man.” David had said.” Blessed is the man…he delights in the law of God, and in the law of God he meditates day and night.” God's people will delight in his law; it is one of the greatest enjoyments they have on this side heaven, in the time of their absence from God. It is the instrument of all the good that they receive — comfort, strength, quickening. How did he delight in the word of God? He read it, applied it, cherished it, kept it in the centre of his life. Look at the Eunuch, after he was returning from public worship. he went in to private worship. Some attend the Sunday church, and then keep aside the bible.O it is over, till next Sunday. But those who desire God like the Eunuch, will say, that was the public worship I had, let me have a private worship with God.Let me read the bible on my own. How does one delight in the word? By hearing the word. heeding to the word.” wherefore be swift to hear.”(Jms.1:19).I was glad when they said come let us go unto the house of the lord.”(Ps.122:1).Are we glad of these occasions, of hearing, not only to tickle the ear, but to warm the hearts? Is it only in the church? or do we carry it everywhere we go?” thou shall talk of them when you sit, in your house, and when you walk by the way,” (Deut.6:7).this is delighting. Do you carry a pocket bible with you? When you sit at the bus stop you read the bible, when you have spare time you read the bible? If you want Jesus to walk with you, you need to be like the two disciples at Emmaus road, they talked of Jesus. If we delight then we don’t read, but meditate upon it. day and night. Like when one loves some food. He will roll it in his mouth, if you are given a sweet, you will roll it under your tongue. and keep at it. so a godly mans thoughts will run along with his delight. Only clean beasts chew the cud. God’s children will be ruminating, going over the word again and again. delight will always breed obedience, and it will increase all the more. Statutes is a rule. I will obey all rules, let me just be in this place. Every work carry it with delight.” I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies.”(Ps.119:14).When David entered the gates he entered with rejoicing. How do we enter the gates of the church? Is Sunday a delight for us? Are we waiting when we will go to church on Sunday? Isaiah said “thou shall call the Sabbath a delight.”(Isa.58:13).

2).DELIGHTING BECAUSE OF LOVE.

Why did David delight in the word? Because he loved God.That is the simple reason. See David is teaching us certain principles here, so that we can tap them for our benefit. We need to learn certain principles they learnt, and tap on. But then the problem today is, that we would like to tap those principles, we would like to walk like them, imitate them, talk like them, and read the word like King David. but if we don’t have the love that David had for God. we will still miss some precious things, though we may tap all the principles they discovered. We can learn everything they did, but if we don’t love God, then we will not be delighted like them, and so we may be missing some vital things. Some will think what has delight got to do with Love.Everything.you cannot delight in something/somebody unless you have love for that thing or for that someone. Didn't David say “And I will delight in thy commandments, which I have loved.”(Ps.119:47).You cannot find pleasure in obeying Gods word, unless you love him. Why do you obey, because you love? David says your commandments which I love, make me happy. Many say. I have the principles that David gave us, yet we don’t prosper like David, because we can learn all principles from another man of God, but if we don’t love God the same way he loved we will never succeed as they succeeded. We may never win the heart of God the way David did. David did not just read the word, he just did not carry the bible. I can show you people who can quote the bible from genesis to revelation. but yet if they are not delighted by that word, it means nothing. The centre of all our reading is still whether we love Gd.Many also want to be like Abraham, they like to tap the principles of Abraham, they want to tap on the wisdom of God, to learn how he prospered, but are we ready to obey God to the extent of taking your beloved child and willing to sacrifice that child? What stands out in Abraham is not just following God, or tapping the wisdom of God. or tapping the blessing of God, but also tapping the heart of God. why do some people cannot learn form another ministry is not that they didn’t learn some principles. they learned the principles all right but they didn’t love God the same way. Why do people read the word, sit in the church, say praise the lord yet miss things.? Because they don’t have the same deeper delight in Gd.I told you “delight” speaks of caressing/fondness. Unless you become like the Shulamite woman, you may tap in all the principles, and yet never reach the level of David. One may be better than David in other areas, like not killing anybody, or not being unfaithful, but yet they may not reach the standard of David, because they didn’t love God the same way David loved. They are going to miss things. You cannot delight in the word of God, unless you have personal experience with God. Unless you love him. Look at Peter,he loved Jesus with all his heart, that is why, no matter what he did, He bounced back, and he always maintained leadership among his group. Beloved you can learn a few things from Peter too. How he saved the 3000 or the five thousand, but if we don’t love Jesus like Peter, then we are going to miss things.

Look at Jesus. His entrance into the world itself was with delight. He didn’t dread to come down. He didn’t say.O I have to go down and die for them.No.He delighted in coming down.”Lo,I come, I delight to do thy will O God.”(Ps.40:8).Yes it speaks mystically of Christ. when he came into the world to sacrifice his life for us, this was his statement. he came as a free will offering. God wants a free will offering,God loves a cheerful giver. But Pastor there is so much trouble?Yes.there is so much pain/Yes.Doesn't a woman have birth pangs, but yet she wants to go thru it,that she can see the child’s face? Many don’t work with delight.because they don’t delight in God.Only eternity will reveal to us all our works results.because work done out of obligation, and ill will/and not out of delight will lose much of its thrusts. What did Jesus say? I have a baptism to be baptized with, and how I am pressed down until it is accomplished! (Lk.12:50).Yet he was delighted to finish it. He thirsted to finish it.Yes, it was not easy. He said. I have a baptism. he was not speaking of wetting your shirt and pant and then get into a new pair of clothes. He was speaking of fire baptism. he was speak of terrible baptism of suffering ahead of him, and he said I am under a heavy pressure/burden, till it is accomplished. He longed it to be finished.O people don’t realize it. Was it not torturous for him.but yet he did it.why?for the joy of seeing us.” and my delights were with the sons of men.”(Prov.8:31). People say Pastor it is hard. Yes it maybe hard, but the joy of the lord is our strength. If Christ so delighted in the work of our redemptioin, shall we not delight in his service? If Jesus so delighted to shed his blood not for his sin sins, but ours, how much more should we delight to do service with delight knowing that it is going to work for our good? If he could suffer willingly for us, can we not serve willingly for our own benefits? Didn’t he cheerfully lay down his life for us, and shall we not give up our lives for him? When you delight in Gds service it makes us look like the angels in heaven. They serve God with cheerfulness, as soon as God speaks the word, they are ambitious to obey. Does not the word say, in Heaven we shall be like angels. Jesus did it all, just because he delighted in the sons of men. Delight comes forth from love. Love will go to any extent. O people say why can I not get David’s blessings. Yes we need to learn certain principles of God. People say Yes I have applied the same principles of David in my life, but yet I find things amiss. Because delight flows from the heart of sincere love for God. It flows forth when you do two things. Pray and read the word. Because when you sit at the lords feet. you enter into the love of God. Like when you come to church, you feel the feeling of emotions, while praising/worshipping. you know deep in you, the spirit is giving you the touch of God. You feel/sense love inside of you. You may be the type who doesn’t cry always, but when you are worshipping God ,something stirs up inside of you, and you begin to weep. as you weep and cry you feel/sense his love, and you also sense/feel love for others. it is more then sympathy. maybe when you go to work, you feel less of it, but then again when you come back in the evening, and step in your prayer closet, you reach that stage again, that state of love and compassion. You feel the love and affection of Jesus. You are touched inside. and then when you read the word of God. it becomes a delight. Then when you stand and preach, people can only sense the love of God, and compassion of God flowing out through you, and their life is made. The other day.Dr.Tribhuvan was sharing, that he was getting promotion, but he was not taking it.why?beause he didn’t want to miss the meetings/the message/the word/the Sunday church/working for God. what is it? the word has become delight-some to him. People are ready to sacrifice everything for the lord. it is love, it is delighting in God. Look at Peter.he gave up his finishing business. He said. we left everything for you. that is the extent of love he had for Jesus, and so he delighted in the words of Jesus. Why some cannot learn from another ministry, or why some don’t grow in the same measure of other ministers, because we can walk like them/talk like them/say praise the lord like them. but we need to love like them. we need to delight in the word like them. Some people say I have prayed like David, but when they rise up, there is no change/there is no revelation/there is nothing of Jesus. The thing is the first generation loved God so much that they stumbled upon some principles. then the second generation rises up and taps the principles, but yet doesn’t achieve much.why?because they don’t love God as much as the first generation. Like David loved God so much that he tapped on the blessings of God, he came to know certain principles that worked for him. Like that incident, when he numbered Israel and sinned, and God said. three judgments are placed before you, you choose. He chose none, but said let me fall in the hands of God. Somewhere he knew the mercy of God. He tapped in that principle, and so people take that principle that he tapped in or discovered, and they apply it in their lives, but they still lack in getting the full mercy of God. why what happened? somewhere they missed the consciousness of love that David had of God. they tapped the principle, but neglected the love for God. Like if you see David, he discovered the principle of God. and then Solomon said. Let me take this principle and apply it in my life too, that I may also receive the favor of God. but he never came to the level of the favor that David received.why? In applying/and keeping the principle, he neglected the love for God. You can copy somebody even 100%, in method/style/work/but you cannot copy the love for God because you must develop your own love for God.how? by sitting at his feet, and sensing his love. and loving him with all your heart mind and soul. and then delighting in his word. People read the word, they don’t delight in the word. You can read the word, but you may not delight in the word. Delight comes after love.

3).DELIGHTING BECAUSE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD.

When you read the word of God it gives you knowledge of God. then your eyes open to his love/his mercy. then you start delighting in him. Paul says “I pray that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment.”(Phil.1:9).Yes the more you read the word, the more you come to know what he has done for you, and you start delighting in God. Paul says “I pray that That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which He has called you, what are the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints and what is the immeasurable greatness of His power in us who believe.”(Eph.1:17).David rejoiced/delighted in Gd,because he came to know the truth. Because he saw the bible was full of goodness. Yes, once you know somebody is truthful to you, you will automatically delight in him and his word”Thy word is true from the beginning.”(Ps.119:160).Somebody rightly said. The two testaments the old and the new are like the two lips by which the God of truth has spoken to us. Does not Nehemiah.say.”Thou gavest them true laws, good statutes.”(Neh.9:13).Yes this bible is a letter sent to us from heaven penned down by the Holy Spirit and sealed with the blood of Jesus. When a young girl is about to be married. She greatly delights in knowing the boy. If she knows he is very truthful. She rejoices, in him. If she knows that he thinks of her and rejoices in her, she delights greatly in him. In the same way when you read about your God written in the bible. You are stirred up. You need to get acquainted with him, and then you shall delight in him. When you read the word of God, the Holy Spirit will give you a live experience of Jesus to you. He will reveal him to you. Once you get this inner awareness then grace/strength will flow in you. When you read the word of God, the Holy Spirit will give you various sensations of his love/peace/joy. Then the love of Jesus becomes real to you. You start enjoying his presence. His word becomes a delightsome thing to you. Remember when I speak to you of getting the touch of God. I am talking to you in terms of the spirit. and the spiritual world is like being in the “microgravity/or weightlessness. You cannot do a thing, without the Holy Spirit. Like when one is in the space he cannot do many things on his own. He needs to hold on to something to propel him. his feet doesn’t touch the earth. because of less of gravity, even so in the spirit world, the Holy Spirit acts like the wind, he takes you around, it is like sailing. you may have the boat, but when you set up the sail, then the sail has to catch the wind in the right position to get you to the right place. So also the Holy Spirit inside of you, will bring you to where God wants you to be.Your sails are in your heart, and when it catches the wind of the Holy Spirit it takes you to God.Now listen people, when you read the word. it says “God thinketh upon us.” that sets up my heart towards him. There is a stirring in me. The Holy Spirit makes that word spirit and life to me.That was the way David’s heart was set upon God. then again the bible says “As the bridegroom rejoices over the bride so shall thy God rejoice over thee.”That delights us. And then when the boy says. to the girl. I am waiting when I will get married to you.”O that flutters the girl. And open the bible and the Lord says “I will betroth thee unto me for ever in righteousness and in loving kindness, and in mercies.”(Hos.2:19).Is it not delightful reading over this love letter? Yes there are other reasons why I delight in the word of Gd.Because it is a light than shines for me in a dark place. (2Pet.1:19).it is our pole star to guide us to heaven. It was David’s candle and a lantern to walk with.” Now light is sweet.”(Ecl.11:7).

The law of God is a spiritual glass to dress our souls. David often looked himself in this glass, and got his soul dressed. Didn't he say “thru thy percepts I get understanding.” This glass not only shows us our spots, but in Christ it takes them away. that is why the laver does not only consist of water, but it is made of brass, which was a woman’s looking glasses in those times. so it was a glass and a laver. a glass to look in as you wash. Yes this is the armour.for when the devil tried to tempt Jesus, he said it is written. Three fatal wounds the devil got from the saviors’ sword. Do you see how imp.this armour is? If somebody is hard here, then if he just opens himself up to the world. it will melt him.”thy word has quickened me.” Is not my word as fire? Haven't those fainting found this word a great consolation?”that we might have a strong consolation, when we flee for refuge and lay hold upon the hope that is set before us.?”(Heb.6:18).This is my comfort in affliction, for thy word has quickened me.”(Ps.119:50).Yes, what are the worlds comforts/consolations then? they are so weak. Yes a man has great comfort in the presence of his friends in good health, and good times, but let sickness come, let debts come where is his comfort then? All his friends are weak consolations ,they cannot bear up against trouble. In pleasant times, Naomi found comforts in Moab.but when she came back becoming Marah who could comfort her? Can any sweeten the waters of Marah? Can any furnish food in the wilderness, can any make our waters sure. “And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.”(Isa.33:24).Let death come on a Christian. He will say.O death where is your sting? The law of God is manna, a heavenly food that suits itself to every Christian’s palate. You know this cannot be said of the natural food. You know all cannot eat the same food. For those who are diabetic they cannot eat sweet foods. but Gods manna is for everyone. Moreover even the best of foods cannot be partaken if one is sick. but one takes the bread of life. even if he is sick he will be healed. David had tasted the lord, he delighted in the lord. He saw Saul reading the word, but he never delighted in it. The word should be your delight. That is why before he could die. He counseled to his Son Solomon. not only to serve God,but to serve him ‘with a willing mind.”(1Chro.28:9).Duty is good, but delight in duty is more better .Delight should crown all our religious services; delight should crown all your works for God. It is not how much we do, but how much we love to do. It is not what we do, but how we do. Is there a smile on your face, or is there a pain in your face. Hypocrites may obey Gods law, but the saints love his law. Delight shows that one living by grace. Delight shows that one acknowledges that he is saved by grace. a servant may work as duty, but a bond servant works because he has voluntarily poked his ear to the wall. Grace alters the pride in us, grace removes the worldly boldness form us. Grace removes the unforgiving spirit in us. Grace says it is not works, alone.it is free grace. I am what I am by the grace of God. Delight in the word of Gd.delight in religion will make the business of God more delight-some, easier. Such ones will say. I can do all things thru Christ Jesus who strengthen me. It is a willing mind. Delight turns religion in to recreation. Delight is ready to forgive, it is ready to take others place, it is ready to go the second mile. It does not cheat/nor lie.Because delight comes from love. Unless you love you cannot delight. That word “delight” means “stroking/caressing.” Doesn’t it speak of “storjay." kind of delight? Doesn’t it speak of a natural inclination of husband and wife? Delight is like fire to the sacrifice, it is oil to the wheels, like wind to the sails, He that delights in Gods way will never complain of the hardness, or hardheartedness of the way, or the people. A child that is going to his fathers hose does not complain of the bad way. A child when she returns home from school. Does not worry about the distance. she is only thinking of reaching home. A Christian who is going to heaven, in the way of duty, does everything with delight because he knows he is going home. every prayer is a delight/every word is a delight, every day he rises up saying. I am closer to home, today than yesterday. Get then this holy delight. Beloved don’t think you have many miles to go, death shortens our way. let delight sweeten it. All the duties in religion are for our good. we shall reap the final benefit of it all.” if thou be wise, thou shall be wise for thyself.”(Prov.9:12).This bible you hold in your hand is Gods will for you. His will is good for you. Bible says “this is the confidence we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.” ask what you will he will sign your petitions. If you have a friend that should say. Come to me when you will, I will give you the money would not delight it visit that friend? Didn't Paul say “His commandments are not grievous.”(1Jn.5:3).

4),LESSONS TO LEARN FROM IT ALL.

Beloved people this is such a great thing, if one is found to be interested in the word of God. It will make his life, it will build his life, and it will direct his life. It will give him eternal rewards. This is life. It is not religion, but relationship.God talking to you. It directed all the saints’ lives. “A light that shines in a dark place.”(2Pet.:1:19).Delight in the word, then you will have the delight of the world in proper perspective. you can affection for the world, but only excess is forbidden. You may delight in the wife of your youth, in your children, estate, provisions that come from God. It is allowed, but it must be well guarded too. if we don’t delight in the word, chances are we are apt to surfeit those pleasant things, and we prone to be carried by its sweet affections. but the word keeps it in the proper perspective. Pleasure is allowed, only to the extent of your love towards God. when you desire after God, then everything is done in moderation, but only carnal joy is like drunkenness to the soul, and mind. it weakens us towards God. Pleasure without delighting in God is like the great witch/or sorceress the enchants with the love of the world. and makes us to forget the great purpose of God.Keep things in the proper persepective.”they that are after the flesh, do mind the things of the flesh, but they that are after the spirit the things of the spirit.” A man is found where his relishes lie. A guilty soul will always feel threatened of the word. Like Ahab said of Micaiah.’ He prophesies evil against me.” John said.” 'Every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh he to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.'(Jn.3:20).So what is delight?

It is excitement inside/a tingle/a spark. Like you tell the children, let us go for picnic. there is a great joy in them. So delight is basically doing what you really love to do, or delight is to be with someone you really love. Delight means to make merry over/make a do about something It is not acting with compulsion, it is not acting with an urgings of conscience, or from legal bondage, it may be an offering, but is it thank offering. Isn’t it said “will he call upon God? Will he delight himself in the Almighty? When he is in distress he may call upon God.when his conscience pinches him he will call upon God.when the money is gone he will be calling upon God.But when he is in severe trial will he still worship God and say. the lord has given and the lord has taken away blessed is the name of the lord? Or will he only call and say arise Lord and save us? Why are some not feeling that sense of joy, and delight? Because they do not walk in Gds ways. Does not the word say”the ways of God are all ways of pleasantness to them that walk in them.”(Prov.3:17).When God becomes your joy, then you can easily be weaned form earthly pleasures. When you have tasted the hidden manna, then the garlic and onions lose their relish. then you find more sweetness/more rejoicing in the testimony of your conscience. It becomes your meat and drink, to do the will of God. It is joy to be holy; it is joy to be temperate, He who is attached to money, will like to hear only the privilege part of Christianity not the cross of Christ. He may embrace Christ, and even kiss him, because of the money bag. But a man, who is fallen in love with Jesus, will sell his field to get the pearl of great price. I pray that God may open our eyes to this area of truth. Praise God!!!
