Genesis 7:1-10

1 And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.

1. A Most Gracious Invitation - From the Lord

And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark

The Lord wanted them in, and all in.

2. A Most Glorious Invitation - To the Lord

for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation

3. A Most Grave Invitation - By the Lord

Ch 6:7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

4. A Most Grateful Invitation - Through the Lord

7 And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.

(a) The World Despised The Invitation and were Lost

2 Peter 2:5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

(b) But Noah Embraced The Invitation and was Saved
