Summary: NO CONDEMNATION

PSALM 26 NO CONDEMNATION I. The Prayer of the Righteous- vs.1-4

A. His Fidelity- v.1 Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: B. His Faith- v.1 I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide. 1. Judge- (Rom. 2:16, In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. 14:13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way.) 2. Examine- (II Cor. 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?) 3. Prove- (II Cor. 13:5 prove your own selves) (Gal. 6:4 But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.) 4. Try- James 1:1-12; 2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. (I Peter 1:7; That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:)

C. His Faithfullness- v. 3 For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth. (II John v. 4 I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.) D. His Friendships- v. 4 I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers. (James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.) II. Profession Of The Righteous- v.5-8

A. His Purpose- v.5 I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.

B. His Purging- v.6 I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O LORD:

C. His Praise- v.7 That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works. (Heb. 13:15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.)

D. His Place- v.8 LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth. III. The Plea Of The Righteous- vs.9-12 A. His Sanctification- vs. 9-10 Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men: 10 In whose hands is mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes.

B. His Salvation- v. 11 "release" But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me.

C. His Standing- 12 My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the LORD. (Eph. 1:3, Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:)
