VIII. MAIN BODY:

Ecclesiastes 2:26 (Amplified Bible)

For to the person who pleases Him God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy; but to the sinner He gives the work of gathering and heaping up, that he may give to one who pleases God. This also is vanity and a striving after the wind and a feeding on it.

Ecclesiastes 2:26 (New King James Version)

For God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy to a man who is good in His sight; but to the sinner He gives the work of gathering and collecting, that he may give to him who is good before God. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind.

A. GOD gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy to the one who pleases GOD.

"For to the person who pleases Him God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy;"

This is the secret of gaining wisdom, knowledge and joy. Just please GOD and it's easy to please GOD. Just use faith when coming to Him and He is pleased.

HOW TO PLEASE GOD?

1. Come to GOD in faith

Hebrews 11:6 (Amplified Bible)

But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out].

2. Live, conduct ourselves worthy of the LORD and bear fruit. - CHRISTian service

Colossians 1:10 (Amplified Bible)

That you may walk (live and conduct yourselves) in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him and desiring to please Him in all things, bearing fruit in every good work and steadily growing and increasing in and by the knowledge of God [with fuller, deeper, and clearer insight, acquaintance, and recognition].

1 Thessalonians 4:1 (Amplified Bible)

FURTHERMORE, BRETHREN, we beg and admonish you in [virtue of our union with] the Lord Jesus, that [you follow the instructions which] you learned from us about how you ought to walk so as to please and gratify God, as indeed you are doing, [and] that you do so even more and more abundantly [attaining yet greater perfection in living this life].

3. Speak the gospel

1 Thessalonians 2:4 (Amplified Bible)

But just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the glad tidings (the Gospel), so we speak not to please men but to please God, Who tests our hearts [expecting them to be approved].

4. Sing unto Him

Song of Songs 2:14 (Amplified Bible)

[So I went with him, and when we were climbing the rocky steps up the hillside, my beloved shepherd said to me] O my dove, [while you are here] in the seclusion of the clefts in the solid rock, in the sheltered and secret place of the cliff, let me see your face, let me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely.

B. GOD gives the sinner the work of gathering and heaping up so that the sinner can give it to the one who pleases GOD.

"but to the sinner He gives the work of gathering and heaping up, that he may give to one who pleases God."

WE DON'T HAVE TO WORK ON SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS: (if we please GOD and not men)

Job 27:16-17 (Amplified Bible)

Though he heaps up silver like dust and piles up clothing like clay,

He may prepare it, but the just will wear it, and the innocent will divide the silver.

Proverbs 13:22 (Amplified Bible)

A good man leaves an inheritance [of moral stability and goodness] to his children’s children, and the wealth of the sinner [finds its way eventually] into the hands of the righteous, for whom it was laid up.

Proverbs 28:8 (Amplified Bible)

He who by charging excessive interest and who by unjust efforts to get gain increases his material possession gathers it for him [to spend] who is kind and generous to the poor.

We don't have to work on Saturdays (to prepare our preaching materials, choir practices, worship leading practices) and Sundays (to preach, of course) because the LORD GOD had set the work on the sinners so later on, the wealth and reached they have heaped will find it's way on our hands. HALLELUJAH!!!

IX. CONCLUSION:

Praise, worship, glorify, adore, bless, honor, acknowledge and thank You very much LORD JESUS for I only please You and received wisdom, knowledge and joy from You and You commanded the sinner to work for my prosperity.
