JOY IN HEAVEN
Main text: Romans 1:6-7
Proverbs 11:30b- And he that wins a soul is wise’.
What makes heaven rejoice is the harvest of souls won to God on daily basis. Heaven will not fail to celebrate, honour and decorate the vessel through which these souls are entering the kingdom. The father’s business which Jesus talked about in Luke 2:49 is soul winning. You may be a business man, politician, government official or soldier; you may not have been called to be a pastor or evangelist; you may not have any position or office in your church, but you’ve been called all the same to go into the world and preach the gospel. Act on God’s word as He is has commanded: go into your catmint area or sphere of contact to preach the gospel of the kingdom.
You may say, ‘God did not call me as a full-time preacher’, well, He actually did!. He has called you into the ministry of reconciliation. Anybody who has identified himself with Christ is a minister of reconciliation. Now you’re born again, you’re an ambassador of heaven to the earth. Dedicate your life to soul winning, that’s God’s number one job. It makes God to be HAPPY with you. He will be looking at you with an eye of a son. That enables you to win crowns and stars.
Everything about the kingdom of God and what Jesus did for us on the cross was geared towards reaching everyone in the world with the message of salvation. Don’t spend time with those who do not have passion for the Lord and for the gospel. Passion is like fire that must be fuelled otherwise, it will be extinguished.
