Summary: This sermon reminds us of the power of intercessory prayer and the need to seek God for our nation.

Here are several principles found in Abraham prayer for Sodom.

I. He was Connected to God. (God's friend)

II. He was Convicted of sin's repercussion. (God forewarned him) vs 17-21

III. He drew Close to God. vs 23

IV. He was Concerned for Sodom. vs 23

V. He was Courageous in approach. vs 27

VI. He was Contrite in his disposition. vs 30

VII. He was Cautious in his reverence. vs 32

VIII. He was Complete in his prayer. vs 33

Conclusion: The nation is in dire need of more praying folk!
