Summary: Is your vision confined, is it limited? Are you ready to turn your vision loose? Let it grow!

What’s the Size Of Your Vision?

Isaiah 6:1-8NKJB

I read of a young man not long ago who dives for exotic fish for aquariums. He wrote that one of the most popular aquarium fish is the shark. He explained that if you catch a small shark and confine it, it will stay a size proportionate to the aquarium you put it in. Sharks can be six inches long yet fully matured. But if you turn them loose in the ocean, they grow to their normal length of eight feet.

Is your vision confined, is it limited?

Are you ready to turn your vision loose? Let it grow!

Testimony: B. P. is having surgery Wednesday that going to be life changing. He nervous but excited!

Say with me, “God has a bigger plan.”

In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple. 2 Above it stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. 3 And one cried to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!” 4 And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of Him who cried out, and the house was filled with smoke. 5 So I said: “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, The Lord of hosts.” 6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar. 7 And he touched my mouth with it, and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips; Your iniquity is taken away, And your sin purged.” 8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”

Have you had a vision from the Lord? Imagine seeing the glory of God….It changed Isaiah! Notice, It shook, it manifested, it brought humility.

Isaiah 6:1-2TLB The year King Uzziah died I saw the Lord! He was sitting on a lofty throne, and the Temple was filled with His glory. 2 Hovering about Him were mighty, six-winged angels of fire. With two of their wings they covered their faces, with two others they covered their feet, and with two they flew.

The heart of Isaiah, the prophet, was broken. Uzziah was not only his king, he was also his friend. In his heartbreak, Isaiah made his way to the Temple to worship and to seek comfort for his grief. And God met him there.

In 1963, another shocking word was sent out across the world: “The President is dead.” It was unbelievable. JOHN F. KENNEDY, young, vibrant and dynamic, was cut down by an assassin’s bullet - a nation was plunged into grief. People flocked into churches in the greatest numbers since the announcement of the end of World War 2. Ministers changed their sermon texts and preached messages of healing and hope to the people of America.

[Pause.]

About 700 years before Christ was born in Bethlehem, the sad announcement was made, “The King is dead.” King Uzziah, the eleventh King of Judah, had died. Crowned at the age of 16, he had reigned 52 years.

But God had a greater plan, a bigger vision. During this tough time of losing King Uzziah, Isaiah, raised his head during worship, he saw another King, the Ultimate King, the One who sits on the throne of David forever. He saw the Lord high and lifted up.

At His side were angels. Their job was to give glory to the Lord. We know that these angels were beings that were without sin. They were pure, yet, with their six wings they cover their face and feet. They shield them- selves from the direct gaze of God because of their reverence and awe before the presence of the holy majestic Lord!

Question: How big is your vision? Do you get excited talking about your vision?

Testimony: C. T. gave me and Jenny the Grand Tour Wednesday night after church. His passion is so sincere and his vision is big and shark size. I told Jenny, I know great things will occur through CECC children, and this children’s church because of this kind of vision.

Hear this, In seemingly the worse nightmare, upon the death of a love one, many times God will send a mighty force of vision and Holy Spirit aide to bring comfort and to help you stay on track.

Isaiah 6:3NET They called out to one another, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord who commands armies! His majestic splendor fills the entire earth!”

in Revelation 4, and Isaiah 6, the Bible says that God is holy, holy, holy

Our definition of holiness is more than likely wrong, because God’s standard of holiness means, He’s set apart. Nothing compares to Him.

I want to give you 5 truths about a God size vision.

1. The proclamation of God’s holiness gave Isaiah a new God size vision.

Listen, God’s holiness is to be our standard! As the angel proclaimed God’s holiness, Isaiah’s vision, purpose, and life was changed.

2. A God size vision will challenge the heart of man. When Isaiah saw God’s glory, Isaiah’s heart was challenged.

Everything Isaiah thought he knew was challenged!

A little boy excitedly told his mom that he had just measured himself and he was six feet tall! Mom was skeptical so she asked him to measure himself again while she watched.

She discovered the problem when the boy took out not a 12-inch, but a 6-inch ruler. He had calculated well: he was six-ruler-heights tall – he just had the wrong ruler, the wrong standard.

God’s holy! God’s holy! “I said, ‘God’s holy!”

3. A God size vision will bring a shaking and a moving.

Isaiah 6:4NLT Their voices shook the Temple to its foundations, and the entire building was filled with smoke.

Things that God hasn’t endorsed should be removed. Moreover, when your vision is endorsed by God, His glory will become evident to all.

Isaiah 6:5 Then I said, “It’s all over! I am doomed, for I am a sinful man. I have filthy lips, and I live among a people with filthy lips. Yet I have seen the King, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.”

God’s glory brought evidence to Isaiah~ His lips were dirty, and unfaithful.

If you’ve seen the King you’ll never be the same. Notice, all of God’s correction comes to Isaiah’s lips.

Remember this, If your confession is wrong, negative or faithless, your vision will become warped and distorted.

4. A God size vision will show you your limits, and humble you with movements toward Jesus Christ.

Also, A God size vision will show you He has a remedy.

Isaiah 6:6-7NLT Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a burning coal he had taken from the altar with a pair of tongs. 7 He touched my lips with it and said, “See, this coal has touched your lips. Now your guilt is removed, and your sins are forgiven.”

Jesus Christ saved you to give you a new confession; A confession of faith, and vision.

6. A God size vision will direct your path and give you new purpose.

Isaiah 6:8NLT Then I heard the Lord asking, “Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?” I said, “Here I am. Send me.”

Isaiah’s new confession, bought with it God’s vision. God calling. It brought gifts, Gifts that would touch his country and whole nations forever.

Remember Psalm 37:23NKJB The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way.

It’s time to let His glory and holiness be your vision.

Benediction.
