12 On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,
13 Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.
14 And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written,
15 Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass's colt.
Hallelujah beloved, today is a day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Beloved the Greek word Hõsanna which is rendered Hosanna has it's roots in two Hebrew words in the Bible YÂSHA and NÂ which together is transliterated as "HOSHIA - NA", which means *we pray thee, save us* and it is an exclamation for salvation and adoration as well.
This Greek word Hosãnna is rooted in another Greek word "SÕPHRONIZÕ" which means to restore to ones senses. This word is also from another root Greek word "SÕPHRÕN" which means having a sound mind in ones senses.
This word is from two root Greek words "SÕZÕ" which means salvation and "PHREN" which means the parts of the heart and also the mind being the faculty of perceiving and judging.
Beloved the word Hosanna is a prayer on its own. A full prayer calling for Jesus to come into your life to liberate you, mentally and spiritually, to change your physical and spiritual state into that which He wants.
Its a call for Jesus to liberate you from the battles in your mind which leads you into many sins and failures.
Hosanna is a call on Jesus to give you peace in yourself and have His full protection, provision and all the good and perfect gifts and blessings present in His salvation.
Beloved, in this new year your prayer should *"HOSANNA TO THE KING OF KINGS, MY LORD AND MASTER JESUS WHO IS THE REASON WHY I LIVE"*
When you pray this prayer the Lord shall surely see you through His year of ABUNDANCE and bountiful harvest in the mighty name of Jesus.
*IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else. Let no one deceive you. Live for Christ Jesus always.
Prayer: Father we thank you for a new year, our prayer this year is HOSANNA to Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
