FACTS ABOUT HEAVEN
Revelations 19: 11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
1. Heaven is physical.
Revelations 22: 2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
2. Heaven is a place of inexplicable joy.
Luke 15: 7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
3. God will surround us in Heaven.
Psalms 53: God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.
4, There is an enter fee.
Romans 10: 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
5. We will have physical bodies.
John 20: 27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
6 . Believers go there immediately at death.
Hebrews 9: 27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Luke 23: 43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
7. Heaven is eternal.
Matthew 25: 46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
8. Heaven is incredible diverse.
Revelation 7: 9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
We will experience final victory over sin.
