John 17:17-23 King James Version (KJV)
17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.
20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
Beloved Jesus is praying for you always. Before He died, in His death He was fighting for you and after, He is still praying for you.
Beloved when we get saved by grace, we are separated from unholy things unto God. We become new people without blemish. We are purified by God and made whole with the truth.
The truth is the Word of God, and the Word of God is Jesus. We are therefore sanctified in Jesus who is truth and sanctified even before creation.
Beloved your call to evangelize includes one key aspect, *unity in the Body of Christ and with Christ Jesus* that the Body may be united as the Holy Trinity is united and also be united in Jesus.
With this unity the lifestyle of Christians would be exemplary and many would turn to Jesus by just observing us.
Many would come to believe in the message of Jesus, know and believe that God is His Father and He sent Him and as He sent Him so has He also sent us to take the Gospel out there for many to hear and know and to believe and confess unto salvation.
Beloved, you carry the same glory as Jesus came to the earth with because He has given you same so that all Christians would be one with Him and in Him just as He and the Father are one.
Beloved this unity can be attained if we all begin to operate with the mindset of *IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else and we live for Him alone. The unity or oneness Jesus wants shall be realised in Jesus name.
The love that God the Father has for Jesus is the same love that God the Father has for us.
Prayer: Father please let the Body of Christ be united even as you and your Son, Jesus are united now and forever. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
