VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. Deliver them from death

"Deliver those who are drawn away to death, and those who totter to the slaughter,"

Deliver in the Hebrew language "naw-tsal'" means "to snatch away", "defend, deliver, recover, pluck, preserve, rescue, rid, save, take (out)"

Every CHRISTian believer has a mission to snatch away, defend, deliver, and save, snatch out every soul born in this world by preaching or sharing to them the gospel. One believer is very important and counts in doing his/her part of sharing the gospel to every people. If one will not do it, then he has failed the Master's command and he/she has failed the mission while here on earth. I for one, always make it a point to share the gospel to every people I come across with, if they are ready to receive the LORD JESUS, you will know and you are there to witness GOD's saving Presence in their lives.

Combine the sense of urgency in every mission, in every sharing of the gospel. If GOD has delivered us from our sins, then it's high time for us to share the same experience to others.

Psalms 54:7 For He has delivered me out of every trouble, and my eye has looked [in triumph] on my enemies.

Deliverance has two sides, the one who is doing the delivering has to be delivered first from every trouble (including death) before he/she can do it. Don't rely on the unbelievers or even the angels to share the gospel of the LORD JESUS, they are not authorized, they are not delivered themselves, we as believers are the ones authorized and delivered to do it, and we have JESUS on our side and the insides of us to preach the gospel on our behalf, all we have to do is believe. We got to obey the Great Commission.

Where do we need deliverance from? These are some of it as the bible taught it.

1. From persecutors

Psalms 7:1 O LORD my God, in You I take refuge {and} put my trust; save me from all those who pursue {and} persecute me, and deliver me,

2. From our enemies

Psalms 18:17 He delivered me from my strong enemy and from those who hated {and} abhorred me, for they were too strong for me.

Psalms 18:48 Who delivers me from my enemies; yes, You lift me up above those who rise up against me; You deliver me from the man of violence.

Psalms 31:15 My times are in Your hands; deliver me from the hands of my foes and those who pursue me {and} persecute me.

3. From the sword - drought in the Hebrew language

Psalms 22:20 Deliver my life from the sword, my dear life [my only one] from the power of the dog [the agent of execution].

4. From shame, disappointment and delay

Psalms 25:20 O keep me, Lord, and deliver me; let me not be ashamed {or} disappointed, for my trust {and} my refuge are in You.

5. From death - separation from GOD, physical death or second death

Psalms 33:19 To deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine.

6. From troubles - tightness or trouble may be caused by our adversaries.

Psalms 34:17 When the {righteous} cry for help, the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their distress {and} troubles.

7. From all fears

Psalms 34:4 I sought (inquired of) the Lord {and} required Him [of necessity and on the authority of His Word], and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

B. Hold them back from their doom

"hold them back [from their doom]"

Proverbs 24:11 (King James Version)

If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain;

"Those that are ready to be slain" - to illustrate this I once replied to someone asking why am I not taking the exams needed to be transferred to another account, and I said to him, inspired by the HOLY SPIRIT what to say, "anytime you're all ready to go, but I still need a lot of work to do here in this account" that was my reply, the HOLY SPIRIT putting me into remembrance and He had taken it from this.

John 7:6 Whereupon Jesus said to them, My time (opportunity) has not come yet; but any time is suitable for you {and} your opportunity is ready any time [is always here].

If we are so full of JESUS from the insides and we're so conscious of it, we will not miss the answer, and we will reply to others as well, seeking our reason of hope.

I keep in step with the HOLY SPIRIT by praying in the HOLY SPIRIT at least 1 hour per day and then the HOLY SPIRIT will answer every question that is hurled against us.

1 Peter 3:15 But in your hearts set Christ apart as holy [and acknowledge Him] as Lord. Always be ready to give a logical defense to anyone who asks you to account for the hope that is in you, but do it courteously and respectfully.

Luke 21:14 Resolve {and} settle it in your minds not to meditate {and} prepare beforehand how you are to make your defense {and} how you will answer.

Luke 21:15 For I [Myself] will give you a mouth {and} such utterance and wisdom that all of your foes combined will be unable to stand against or refute.

C. What is death?

Death is defined in the bible as "physical death", "separation from GOD", and "second death" all referred to them by the bible as death.

a. Physical death

Examples: death of Abraham and death of Joshua is recorded in the bible

Genesis 25:11 After the death of Abraham, God blessed his son Isaac, and Isaac dwelt at Beer-lahai-roi [A well to the Living One Who sees me].

Judges 1:1 AFTER THE death of Joshua, the Israelites asked the Lord, Who shall go up first for us against the Canaanites to fight against them?

There are two types of death:

(1) death of the righteous -

Numbers 23:10 Who can count the dust (the descendants) of Jacob and the number of the fourth part of Israel? Let me die the death of the righteous [those who are upright and in right standing with God], and let my last end be like theirs!

Psalms 116:15 Precious (important and no light matter) in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints (His loving ones).

(2) death of the wicked -

b. Definitions of "death" in the bible: [Source: http://www.bible.ca/d-death=separation.htm ]

- death is separation between two:

(1) Physical death - separation between body and soul - Ecclesiastes 12:7 -

(2) Spiritual death or second death - separation between man and GOD - Isaiah 59:1-2 , Revelation 21:8, Revelation 22:14-15

(3) Dead to sin - separation between CHRISTians and sin - Romans 6:2, 11, Hebrews 7:26

(4) Dead to law - separation between CHRISTians and law - Romans 7:4

(5) Marriage dissolved by death - separation between man and woman - 1 Corinthians 7:39

(4)

IX. CONCLUSION:

Praise, worship, glorify, adore, bless, honor, acknowledge and thank You very much LORD JESUS for You are my Deliverer, my Eternal Life and my Gospel.
