Summary: The WORD of God is the living WORD that sets us free from every kind of sickness and disease.

God loves us all and cares for us all. He loved us that much He made His Son to die for us and for our sin.

Ephesians 2:4-5

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

1 John 3:1

Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!

Jesus died a very painful and horrible death for us to be free from all kinds of sicknesses, diseases and poverty. The Bible records this in:

Isaiah 53:4-5

Surely He has borne our griefs

And carried our sorrows;

Yet we esteemed Him stricken,

Smitten by God, and afflicted.

But He was wounded for our transgressions,

He was bruised for our iniquities;

The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,

And by His stripes we are healed.

Another translation records it this way:

But he endured the suffering that should have been ours,

the pain that we should have borne.

All the while we thought that his suffering

was punishment sent by God.

But because of our sins he was wounded,

beaten because of the evil we did.

We are healed by the punishment he suffered,

made whole by the blows he received. GNT

On the cross and even before Jesus was on the cross He took all the pain and suffering that we would ever have here on earth. This is what the WORD says that Jesus' Name is above any other name.

Philippians 2:9-10

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,

Every name of any sickness or disease can never be above the Name of Jesus. Jesus Name is much more powerful than any named disease that is named or that will be named in this realm.

Jesus shed His blood from the time that He was arrested to the time of his death on the cross, He took all our sicknesses our diseases and our poverty so that we can be free from it all.

Galatians 3:13

Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

When we receive the gift of salvation we are immediately set free from the curse and get the blessings of Abraham. We are not to be under those curses, we have a covenant right to expect God's blessing in every area of our lives.

What Is A Curse?

A solemn utterance intended to invoke a supernatural power to inflict harm or punishment on someone or something.

An offensive word or phrase used to express anger or annoyance.

It's a dirty word.

To say magic words that are intended to bring bad luck to someone.

Therefore, the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ has delivered us from every curse. Amen

The punishment that He took in His body in our place has set us free from any form of curse. He took it all for our peace and freedom. We have peace in our body, soul and spirit as we put our faith in God and His WORD.

When Jesus was here on earth he healed all those who had faith in Him and wherever He went Jesus would say this words to people;

ACCORDING TO YOUR FAITH

What is faith?

Faith is choosing to believe what God has said to us in His WORD.

Faith is trusting in God in all circumstances of life.

Therefore, when we choose to believe what God has said to us concerning our healing or any area of our lives that we need help with, As we believe and trust in Him according to our faith we receive the promise in His Name.

How do we get faith?

Romans 10:17

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. NKJV

So faith comes from hearing [what is told], and what is heard comes by the [preaching of the] message concerning Christ. AMP

So then, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message comes through preaching Christ. GNT

Faith is received by hearing and hearing the WORD of God. We need to constantly read and meditate on the WORD of God. The WORD Of God is living and powerful and believing His WORD gives us our breakthrough to His glory. - Joshua 1:8

Has we meditate on the WORD of God day and night we are blessed physically and spiritually.

God gave us His WORD and His WORD is His voice and His will for us all.

We are not to let the WORD of God depart from our eyes and ears. It's the WORD that sets us free from every sickness, disease, pain and poverty. He said in John 8:32 that we shall know the truth, and the truth that we know and believe will set us free.

The truth is that by His stripes we are healed.!

When we confess his WORD in our lives we see a change in our circumstance.

What is confession?

Confession means saying the same thing.

Therefore, if I want my healing I go into His WORD and look for some scriptures that pertains to my healing and start reading them to myself.

Healing scriptures

Matthew 8:16-17

When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying:

“He Himself took our infirmities

And bore our sicknesses.”

Mark 1:29-31

Now as soon as they had come out of the synagogue, they entered the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John. But Simon’s wife’s mother lay sick with a fever, and they told Him about her at once. So He came and took her by the hand and lifted her up, and immediately the fever left her. And she served them.

Luke 6:17-19

And He came down with them and stood on a level place with a crowd of His disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem, and from the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear Him and be healed of their diseases, as well as those who were tormented with unclean spirits. And they were healed. And the whole multitude sought to touch Him, for power went out from Him and healed them all.

The desire of Jesus is to heal us and see us made whole. He died for this very purpose, can a father do evil to his children that He sent His Son to die for? I really do not believe that Jesus who died for us will come and do us evil.

This is not how God operates because He loves us that much . He wants to see us living and enjoying our lives that He paid for.

When I was diagnosed with a disease called Sickle Cell Disease, I believed that God was punishing me for something that I had done and decided to make me ill, but that was not the case at all.

I started seeking his face for my healing and asked Him to appear to me if He was real and heal me of Sickle Cell Disease. One day Jesus appeared to me and healed me of Sickle Cell to His glory. I have seen Him five times and I am free from the pain that I had for 30 years. Glory!

This is why I believe with all my heart that Jesus loves us and wants us well. Maybe someone reading this is saying I was lucky,. I would say it was not luck but it was my seeking his healing power in my life like so many people in the Bible cried out to Jesus and He healed them according to their faith.

Let's check some of those healing in His WORD.

Mark 5:25-34

Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years, and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.” Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction. And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes?” But His disciples said to Him, “You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?" And He looked around to see her who had done this thing. But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth. And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”

- She had an illness for a long time.

- She heard about Jesus.

- She said to herself

- She touched Jesus' clothes

- Jesus said her faith made her whole

Mark 10:46-52

Now they came to Jericho. As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging. And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me." So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called. Then they called the blind man, saying to him, “Be of good cheer. Rise, He is calling you.” And throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus. So Jesus answered and said to him, “What do you want Me to do for you?” The blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.

- He was blind for a long time.

- He heard about Jesus

- He cried out to Jesus

- Jesus heard his cry.

- He received his healing.

From all this examples we can see that it is God's will to heal us, and this is just some of the miracle that Jesus did there is a lot more.

Jesus wants us to be free immediately. And He is on His throne ready to set us free, we are to ask and believe in his promises.

Jesus died for our salvation.

Salvation is being saved or protected from harm or being saved or delivered from a dire situation.

Salvation is the saving of the soul from sin and it's consequences.

Jesus is the healer!

Read all the healing scriptures in the gospels and put yourself in his or her place. And just as Jesus did a miracle for me and for those people in His WORD, He will do the same in our lives, if we allow our faith to become strong has we hear His WORD again and again not giving up on our faith. Jesus wants to heal us.

Believe in the power of God and thank Him for his love that heals you from all your diseases.

Acts 10:38

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

God anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit and power . The result was that wherever Jesus went people were healed and set free from every oppression that the devil brought on His children. the same anointed Jesus is still performing miracles. The WORD says He is the same yesterday, today and forever - Hebrews 13:8

He is alive and loves us all, He wants us to enjoy our lives here on earth not when we get to Heaven.

The power of God is available to heal us today. God does not lie and He can never fail us if we have faith in Him.

He is the great physician!

Jesus said we are to have faith in God according to Mark 11:20-24

Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter, remembering, said to Him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away.” So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Jesus says we are to have faith in God and to believe that whatever we ask the Father in His Name will be done for us. He took all our pain, sickness, disease and poverty on Himself, and or healing is settled we don't need to struggle for our healing, we are to receive by faith the finished work of Jesus and thank Him for it.

Jesus did it all for us and He is the greatest physician that we can have if we choose to believe in His promises.

3 john 2 records this powerful promise.

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. NKJV

My dear friend, I pray that everything may go well with you and that you may be in good health—as I know you are well in spirit. GNT

Beloved, I pray that in every way you may succeed and prosper and be in good health [physically], just as [I know] your soul prospers [spiritually]. AMP

To His glory this is the will of God for our lives in every area spiritually, physically and financially. Jesus loves us and wants it to be well with us all.
