Topic: CAN GOD TRUST YOU ENOUGH TO RELY ON YOU?
Acts 13:22-25 King James Version (KJV)
22 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave their testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.
23 Of this man's seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:
24 When John had first preached before his coming the baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.
25 And as John fulfilled his course, he said, Whom think ye that I am? I am not he. But, behold, there cometh one after me, whose shoes of his feet I am not worthy to loose.
Beloved, can God trust you to the end?
Or He can trust you in the time when you are a nobody and when He exalts you, you disobey Him to make Him doubt you?
Can God trust you with His world?
Does God know you inside out to call you a man after His own heart?
Would God allow your reign to be forever?
Beloved some may say yes to all, others may not be sure and others may say no. But the truth is that, David succeeded and had all the goodies from God Almighty, because HE WAS OBEDIENT.
Beloved, if you will show commitment, respect and obedience, God would be pleased with you and He will put you up there.
David was given an everlasting reign through the son of God, Jesus who is King forever.
Beloved we need to:
1. Be obedient
2. Do all God asks us to do no matter how difficult it is.
3. Know how to seek forgiveness from God and not man.
4. Praise and worship God always
5. Recognise every phase we go through before the main deal from Jehovah as a preparstory phase.
6.Know how to be humble before God and be patient.
7.Know how to inquire from God, to inquire about every thing before taking action.
Beloved when we know and our lives are as stated above, God may trust and use us, if not fully, then at least just as He did for and with David.
Beloved, *IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else. If we would place all our trust in Jesus and walk His ways and do as He says, we would satisfy all we need to satisfy for God to trust us and "He shall trust us".
Prayer: Father please make me a person you can trust and handover anything at all to. That you would be sure in your heart that no matter the challenges, this my son will do my will and honour me. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
