Romans 8:7-8 King James Version (KJV)
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
Beloved, in this dispensation of Grace, the law of God is in you. As a child of God, Precious Holy Spirit in you is the Law of God in you because He will direct you in all your ways according to the will of God. The will of God is guided by His laws.
Any saved child of God carries the Spirit of God. The only problem is, some of the children neither don't listen to the voice of the Spirit in them nor hear Him when He speaks to them and others also have a challenge in obeying Him.
Beloved, having Precious Holy Spirit in you and not living by His directions is being carnal. This is because if you don't listen to Him then it means you listen to the flesh who is a bully and leads you in rebellious direction against God's.
They that are not saved and have not the Spirit of God so live by the dictates of the flesh are natural enemies of God. You a saved Christian who is not listening to the Spirit of God is one who is being rebellious unintentionally. You have to be sensitive to the promptings of Precious Holy Spirit and in this way you will live the glorious life of a saved Christian.
Beloved a carnal mind cannot please God. A mind that does not follow the leading and directions of Precious Holy Spirit cannot please God.
To please God, follow the leading and directions of Precious Holy Spirit who is in God and knows what is in Him and therefore knows how to please Him.
Beloved before you do something or take a step, be sure of who is leading before you do so. Know if it is Spirit led or flesh led, to know who you are pleasing at that particular time.
Beloved, Jesus did all things according to the leading of the Spirit, to show us this, He told those with Him "I do what I see my Father do". Beloved we have a role model who lived a perfect life, His name is Jesus, let's follow Him for *IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else.
