Romans 9:6-8 King James Version (KJV)
6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.
Beloved Paul the Apostle is conveying a very important message to the Romans in the scriptures above and we all need to take note of it.
Being born into a church or denomination or into the Christian religion by parents who are Christians doesn't make you a child of God.
You may know what is taught in the churches, what goes on there, be part of groups that you like and still be a church goes not a child of God.
So you are a part of the church because you were born into it and you go there every Sunday but you are not part of the children of God there.
Beloved, don't just be a church goer, be a child of God. It will hurt badly to work in a company for a long period of time and when it is time for reward and payments you are told your name is not part of the staff list so step aside.
Beloved the above scenario would not be a pleasant one at all, so, please don't be a church goer be a child of God.
*IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else. If you will follow His ways and do as He says you will not just be a church goer but a child of God for He will give you power to become a son or a daughter of God.
Prayer: Daddy please empower me to follow Jesus rightly and receive the power to be a son not just a church goer. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
