YOU ARE SPECIAL!
1 Peter 2:9 (KJV) But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
I. God says you are living at a chosen time in history. A CHOSEN GENERATION!
II. God calls you royal. You are a ROYAL PRIEST!
A. We are serving the KING OF KINGS.
1. We have the right and power of His NAME!
III. God says you are part of a HOLY NATION!
A. Because HE (The Lord Jesus) is Holy, we can be holy too. We are part of His Army. Onward Christian Soldiers.
1. We are marching to victory.
IV. God says we are a peculiar (SPECIAL) people. WHY???
A. BECAUSE we show forth praise to Him.
1. BECAUSE He has called us out of darkness.
2. BECAUSE He has put us into His Marvellous Light.
3. BECAUSE HE MAKES US TO SHINE HIS LIGHT THROUGH US.
4. BECAUSE we belong to HIM.
