Romans 12:4-8 King James Version (KJV)
4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:
5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;
8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.
What a joy we have in Jesus;
All our grief and sins to bear;
What a privilege to carry;
Everything to God in prayer;
O! What peace we often forfeit;
O! What needless pain we bear;
All because we do not carry;
Everything to God in prayer.
Beloved we have a Jesus in who we are one. Together we make up the Body of Christ. Therefore, we have to work together for the fulfilment of the purpose of the Body of Christ.
Each and everyone of us have a gift or gifts and have a specific role to play in the Body of Christ for the fulfilment of the will of God.
Beloved, you need to identify your gifts, the role you have to play in the Body of Christ and how to play that specific role.
It is when you develop according to this that you can easily win a soul for the Kingdom of God. When you are doing something that you are good at or talented to do, you do it with ease and do it beautifully to the admiration of many.
This draws people to you and you can use this to win most if not all your admirers over to where you belong.
Beloved, know that *IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else. We should play our roles in the Body of Christ with Jesus as the focus and we would do them excellently.
Prayer: Daddy help me discover my gifts and may Thy Spirit guide me to use them and use them well according to your will. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
