Introduction:
The Holy Spirit is a wonderful person, friend, guide, counselor and teacher. We, as Christians need to learn about the Holy Spirit and let him move with power in our lives. He will bring us joy as we never knew it before. The Holy Spirit lives in us and when we come to him and ask him he will teach us about God and Jesus and himself. The Holy Spirit has a personality and will not force anything on us, but as we open ourselves up to him he will teach us so we can get to know God and what his will for us is. We learn the will of God by reading his word, the Bible. Book of Hebrews many places taking about Holy Spirit, why Author is forcing to Holy Spirit? And this paper is going to present and research Holy Spirit from book of Hebrews. Several area we was found Holy Spirit teaching in this book let’s we see.
1. Who is Holy Spirit?
The study of the Holy Spirit is of special significance for us. The Holy Spirit is the third person in the Trinity. He is fully God. He is eternal, omniscient, and omnipresent, has a will, and can speak. He is alive. He is a person. One is the Holy Spirit is the point at which the trinity becomes person to the believer. The Holy spirit than about ether the father or the son. And the Holy Spirit work is ministry is to declare and glorify the son. When we speak of the Holy Spirit, we need to know trinity and Holy Spirit is a part of trinity. He is third person in trinity and it is moving everywhere because he is spirit. Thus the Hebrew word Holy spirit is ruah it can use a wind. The Greek word pneuma it means also winds. And Holy Spirit is God Spirit it is not separated from God they all are one but we understand they are different. We are thinking God is creator, son is savior and Holy Spirit is teacher. But they all are one and they do work together.
2. When Holy Spirit is coming in Believers life?
Holy Spirit always with God and he is begging also with God. But when we read the book of Acts then we find he is come upon on disciples. In the first chapter of Acts, we find the Holy Spirit come. And four time Acts and Luke told 40 days after Holy Spirit come upon Apostles and disciples. And this is Jesus promised to his disciples and they were waiting Holy Spirit day of Pentecost means after 50 days. Disciple fill with Holy Spirit and these things speak in book of Acts. When Holy Spirit come them they started speak in tongue through speaking in tongue they knew we are receiving Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8). Now days how can Holy Spirit is coming in our life or Believers life? If we read the book of Hebrew this book give us same idea. When we believe Jesus Christ our Lord and savior then Holy Spirit started to live with us. And Holy Spirit is teaching us to how to live new life according to word of God. Believing in Jesus and walk with Holy Spirit we will get salvation. (Hebrew 2:4).
3. Why Christian believers needed Holy Spirit?
If a person thinks too much about himself, then he will do many wrong things. The person tries to please whatever he does. He is thinking about his body, not his soul. So he does things that are against God's laws. But with a Christian the Holy Spirit is there to help him. The Holy Spirit teaches the Christian's own spirit. So Christian does things that are right and good. Christian knows that his soul is really important. In this way the soul and body can be opposed. A person can do only those things whose body is liked. That person can do all kinds of bad things. God's laws state that these things are wrong. Such people are not Christians they are against God. They are against every good thing. He/she allowed his body to rule over his life. When they die, they will not go to heaven. God is against them, and Holy Spirit make the Holy and they will able to go God and make relationship with God. Through this relationship they will enter in heaven and living with God. That reason every believers need Holy Spirit to make our self to be holy.
4. What is benefited Holy spirit in Christian believer’s life?
The apostle Paul clearly taught that when we receive Jesus Christ as our Savior, we receive the Holy Spirit. Because we all were baptized by one Holy Spirit in one body whether Jews or Greeks, slaves or free and we all used to drink a Holy Spirit. If a person does not have the Holy Spirit, he is not of Christ: "However, you are controlled not by sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, then he is not of Christ. The Holy Spirit is the seal of salvation for all those who believe, after believing you were marked with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, which guarantees our heritage to the ransom of God possessed people for the praise of our glory. The spirit is to be led into all truth and to be filled with the Holy Spirit is to be filled with love to God and man (Hebrews 1:19-27).
5. Gifts of the Holy Spirit in Christian life
When we read the Bible then we got 9 gifts from Holy Spirit, and those gifts for Christian’s believers. When we are believing and following Jesus Christ then Holy Spirit starting to live in our life. When Holy Spirit lives in us he starts to appear his gifts through our life. Those gifts are like this.
1) A word of Wisdom 2) A word of knowledge 3) Faith 4) Gifts of Healing 5) Workings of miracles 6) prophecy 7) Discerning of Spirits 8) Kind s of tongues and 9) interpretation of tongues (1corinthians 6:19-20). Those are Holy Spirit gifts and this gift not for everyone but for chosen people because these gifts are tools not toys. But some of gifts are for every one like faith and some of the gifts are plural in both parts gift of healing and working of miracles. And speaking tongues and interaction tongues this both are language. These gifts are make us to connect with God and Jesus Christ and only Holy Spirit and Holy Spirit gift make us to connected with God and Jesus. If we don’t have gifts of Holy Spirit then we are nothing to in this earth and kingdom of God.
6. The fruit of the Holy Spirit:
The Holy Spirit there is a difference in kind between gifts and fruit. If we say fruit then we understand only tree bear the fruit but must we need to know tree always connected with roots. And a Christian tree carries gifts without fruit we are not called Christian. Fruit must grow from a seed, but on the other hand it takes fruit to produce further seeds. The New Testament speaks of spiritual gifts in the plural. And the nine gifts are listed in 1 Corinthians 12:8-10 and other place New Testament telling as spiritual fruit also in the singular. The nine gifts are listed in Galatians 5:22-23 and they are like this. Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Every fruit are connected etch other they are not speared and different way but they all are one way and that is God way. This all are fruit exalted Jesus name and always give glory to God. We not use this fruit wrong way and for our benefit but we bear the fruit for others. When we going to bear the fruit we need to seed and Jesus is our Seed.
7. The Holy Spirit work in believers lives:
It is showing us what Christ has done, and it makes a difference in what is happening around us. The witness of the soul for Christ does not work as a hypertext link. No person clicks on the mouse or taps on the screen on the actions of the soul and takes you to the front page of Jesus' Cyber-salvation website. First of all, you have more initiatives than mouse-clicking, which you can take to restore your relationship with God (or, in church talks, it is the grace of God in Christ's work on the cross who saves you, Whatever you do) Secondly, the soul takes us in the presence of Christ and in the character of Christ, two things that do not come on the screen and say 'I am here'. Then, the soul works to take our own web site on the character that others will be identified as Christ, for example, for the reasons and thoughts we are stuck on, or for a troubled pop-up window The information we collect with our excuses, or smart spying cookies, removed from troubled banner ads, we want to use against others. The soul is trying to push his body in full contact with his real fear behind the fear, especially with those who are not aware of Christ, or the names and young people who listen.
8. The teaching of general Epistles book of Hebrew the Holy Spirit and salvation:
The teaching of the apostle Paul the Holy Spirit is attained at the moment of freedom. Paul could say that we were all baptized by one father, son and Holy Spirit. But he speak about the Hebrews church believers did not have the Holy Spirit. Are also strong, stating that if a person does not have a Holy Spirit, then he is not related to Christ. Therefore, control of our soul is an identifying factor by Holy Spirit and when Holy Spirit controls us then we will get salvation. The Holy Spirit is a seal of salvation" (Hebrews 6:4-6) if he does not receive the Holy Spirit then we will not receive the salvation at the moment. Many texts have clearly made it clear that when we receive Christ as Savior, our salvation is secure and Holy Spirit is making us clean from our sin. We get salvation through Christ but we will lose salvation without Holy Spirit, because we don’t know what is good and bad but Holy Spirit teaches us. And Holy Spirit also must important to receive and getting salvation.
Conclusion:
In the end, how do we attain the Holy Spirit? We receive the Holy Spirit by receiving the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior (John 3: 5-16). When do we receive the Holy Spirit? The moment we believe, the Holy Spirit becomes our everlasting authority. We must need Holy Spirit without Holy Spirit we not able to do anything’s. Because he is our teacher, counselor, advocated, and he is our guider we must need Holy Spirit and we need to fill with Holy Spirit. Those things book of Hebrews teaching us and helping us to walking with Holy Spirit and live within Holy Spirit.
