1 Corinthians 1:27-31 King James Version (KJV)
27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.
30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
Beloved, one thing we have to have and live throughout our lives as Christians is humility. We are not better than anybody, it is by Grace, the will of God, God's own choice that we are in Jesus Christ. That, in Him we are made Holy, we are made righteous and we are forgiven.
Beloved, God decided and used things that are disregarded, things that makes no sense to confuse the wise. This is to make them know that their knowledge, wisdom and understanding are all foolishness and the only proper wisdom, knowledge and understanding is Jesus Christ for He is the power and wisdom of God by God's own will.
Beloved it doesn't matter your position in this world, where you stand or what you do. What matters is to have Jesus. What matters is to live in Jesus and Him in you. What matters is to depend fully on God and consider not the world as your home or a place you belong to.
Beloved, God called you out of nothing to make you a person of value. You deserved nothing but He gave you everything therefore never ever glory in yourself or this world but glory in the Lord God Almighty. Boast of Him and dare people to try Him, to see the effect of the God we serve on people who empty themselves of this world and come to Him so He fills them and uses them for His own purposes.
Beloved, *IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else. Live for Him and glory in Him always and as you do this He will keep you and glorify you.
Prayer: Daddy please keep me to live for you alone and nothing else. May your name be glorified in my life now and forever. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
