Summary: When we want to be led by GOD'S SPIRIT - the HOLY SPIRIT, we are open to His Leading, we choose none of our ways, that is sense and reason as outlined in Romans 8:6 - the two most deadliest tools of man ever invented are his common sense and logical reasoning without the HOLY SPIRIT.

Be Led By The HOLY SPIRIT

Text: Romans 8:14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. Amplified Bible

Led here came from the Greek word ago (G71) which means to bring, drive, induce, carry, keep open, lead away.

When we want to be led by GOD'S SPIRIT - the HOLY SPIRIT, we are open to His Leading, we choose none of our ways, that is sense and reason as outlined in Romans 8:6 - the two most deadliest tools of man ever invented are his common sense and logical reasoning without the HOLY SPIRIT.

Romans 8:6 Now the mind of the flesh [which is sense and reason without the Holy Spirit] is death [death that comprises all the miseries arising from sin, both here and hereafter]. But the mind of the [Holy] Spirit is life and [soul] peace [both now and forever].

Let's pray:

FATHER GOD, in Heaven, we want to be led by the HOLY SPIRIT and not merely be led by our common sense or logical reasoning without the HOLY SPIRIT. But all we wanted is the Genuine HOLY SPIRIT leading us through life and peace in JESUS CHRIST both now and forever. Amen!

To be led simply keep it open for the HOLY SPIRIT to move in our lives. The HOLY SPIRIT'S leading are different from man's leading which are:

Man's leading are:

1. Man pleaser - Matthew 14:6 But when Herod's birthday came, the daughter of Herodias danced in the midst [before the company] and pleased {and} fascinated Herod,

2. Always wants us to speak the wisdom of men - Mark 13:11 Now when they take you [to court] and put you under arrest, do not be anxious beforehand about what you are to say {nor} [{even} ] {meditate about it;} but say whatever is given you in that hour {and} at the moment, for it is not you who will be speaking, but the Holy Spirit.

3. Always destructive, leading us to pride, thereby killing ourselves - Luke 4:9 Then he took Him to Jerusalem and set Him on a gable of the temple, and said to Him, If You are the Son of God, cast Yourself down from here;

Luke 4:29 And rising up, they pushed {and} drove Him out of the town, and [laying hold of Him] they led Him to the [projecting] upper part of the hill on which their town was built, that they might hurl Him headlong down [over the cliff].

4. Always wants to kill JESUS within us - Luke 22:54 Then they seized Him and led Him away, bringing Him into the house of the high priest. Peter was following at a distance.

Luke 23:1 THEN THE whole assembly of them got up and conducted [Jesus] before Pilate.

John 7:45 Meanwhile the attendants (guards) had gone back to the chief priests and Pharisees, who asked them, Why have you not brought Him here with you?

John 18:28 Then they brought Jesus from Caiaphas into the Praetorium (judgment hall, governor's palace). And it was early. They themselves did not enter the Praetorium, that they might not be defiled (become ceremonially unclean), but might be fit to eat the Passover [supper].

John 8:3 When the scribes and Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in adultery. They made her stand in the middle of the court and put the case before Him.

5. Always doubts JESUS - Luke 24:21 But we were hoping that it was He Who would redeem {and} set Israel free. Yes, and besides all this, it is now the third day since these things occurred.

If these are men's leading, then I don't want to take part on it. I would never lead any men to do something for JESUS, I will pray that the FATHER GOD will lead these people by His HOLY SPIRIT which is very different from men's leading.

The HOLY SPIRIT'S LEADING ARE:

1. The HOLY SPIRIT's Leading will always lead you to JESUS - Matthew 21:2 Saying to them, Go into the village that is opposite you, and at once you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her; untie [them] and bring [them] to Me.

2. The HOLY SPIRIT'S Leading will always lead you to share GOD'S WORDS or preach it - Mark 1:38 And He said to them, Let us be going on into the neighboring country towns, that I may preach there also; for that is why I came out.

The HOLY SPIRIT will remove all shyness from you so that you can preach boldly GOD'S WORDS

2 Timothy 1:7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm {and} well-balanced mind {and} discipline {and} self-control.

3. The HOLY SPIRIT'S Leading will lead you to prayer and fasting, to prepare spiritually - Luke 4:1 THEN JESUS, full of {and} controlled by the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led in [by] the [Holy] Spirit

4. The HOLY SPIRIT'S Leading will lead you to belief and faith - John 11:15 And for your sake I am glad that I was not there; it will help you to believe (to trust and rely on Me). However, let us go to him.

5. The HOLY SPIRIT'S Leading will lead you to repentance or a renewal of mind/change of mind - Romans 2:4 Or are you [so blind as to] trifle with {and} presume upon {and} despise {and} underestimate the wealth of His kindness and forbearance and long-suffering patience? Are you unmindful {or} actually ignorant [of the fact] that God's kindness is intended to lead you to repent (to change your mind and inner man to accept God's will)?

Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, {even} the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].

6. The HOLY SPIRIT'S Leading will lead you to be under grace - Galatians 5:18 But if you are guided (led) by the [Holy] Spirit, you are not subject to the Law.

7. The HOLY SPIRIT'S Leading will lead you to glory with JESUS as our Eternal Companion - Heb 2:10 For it was an act worthy [of God] {and} fitting [to the divine nature] that He, for Whose sake and by Whom all things have their existence, in bringing many sons into glory, should make the Pioneer of their salvation perfect [should bring to maturity the human experience necessary to be perfectly equipped for His office as High Priest] through suffering.

So the next time someone asks you, who's you father? or whose son you are? Say I am a son of GOD.

Romans 8:14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

Let's close in prayer:

Dear FATHER GOD, Thank You for sending Your HOLY SPIRIT in, on and upon us that we are led by the HOLY SPIRIT to becoming sons of GOD, as you are perfect so are we! In JESUS's Name, Amen!
