The stuff God made are Built Good God is the Master Builder
• He built the Heavens God created the Heaven and the Earth
• He built the Sky , "Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water." 7So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above it. And it was so. 8God called the expanse "sky."
• He built Stars 14And God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night
• He built Humans 26Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness,
1. How do we build a good life we Build by “Being focused keep the main thing the main thing” ,
• How to keep the main thing the main thing “Continuance”? Continue to live in him, 7rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
• Keep Jesus as the “head” we will avoid the many distractions that can pull us away from living in him and pursuing his ministry and mission.
• In today’s text, many places tells us Jesus is the main thing Continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, in Christ is all the fullness of the deity, there is fullness in Christ along with power and all authority , you once were dead but in him you’re made alive,
2. We build a good life by building a Strong Foundation “Always Hit the Nail on the head” If you’ve done these things you nailed it
• Build on The Solid Rock That Rock is Jesus
• Jesus is the Rock the chief corner stone He was the stone the builders rejected
• Jesus is the rock "There was laid a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation; if you will be the one who trusts you will never be dismayed, discouraged, disheartened, downcast
• Jesus said, “Upon this Rock I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
• Colossians we read 10and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority.
3. Build your Life by staying Balanced, Level, Straight ‘I can Build it”
• Balance your life if you lose balance you could fall Adam and Eve in what is called “The Fall” 13When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature,B God made youC alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, 14having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross
• In Colossae had issues with circumcision IN Christ the Jews and Gentiles are on level ground circumcised or uncircumcised its whosoever will let them come
• Straight lines are important to build, “straight is the way is the gate that leads to life
4. Finally, God built some amazing stuff we can build an amazing life by
• God built Earth Sun Moon, Birds, animals, Humanity, Salvation, Hope , Resurrection
• We can build that Amazing life by Keeping the Main thing the main thing “Jesus”
• WE can build an amazing life by always “Hitting the nail on the head” Jesus is the head, Jesus is the head of church, head of our life’s.
• We can build an amazing life by staying Balanced, level straight again Jesus
• Live in Christ, “Be rooted and built up in him and established in the faith” (v. 7).
• Live in Christ, we live in fullness He forgave us all our sins, 14having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross.
• Living in Christ, we can let go of the past, because Christ “forgave us all our trespasses” (v. 13).
