A. Introduction:
God in His infinite wisdom created the heavens and the earth and differentiated the day with light and the night with darkness (Genesis 1:1-2). So twenty-four hours make a day. That is, from sunrise to sunset we have 24hours-divided into 12hrs of the day (6 am -6 pm) and another 12hrs of the night (7 pm -6 am).
Within this 24hrs, lies the great mystery and miracles that the almighty God can do, and nobody can query or challenge Him. That’s why the Bible says in Psalm 115:3 and Job 33:13, that He is a God who does anything and gives account to no one of His actions! Within this 24hrs, God can change destinies and stories to manifest His glory in His sovereignty. It is not surprising, therefore, that, God can turn slave to become king, beggar to become giver, debtor to become a creditor, borrower to become lender, tenants to become landlords, frustrated to become celebrated, rejected to become accepted, scarcity to become abundance or surplus, or even turn a dead person back to life, etc. Why? This is because He is the God of all possibilities (Jer. 32:27; Gen 18:14).
Let’s look at the Bible and see those amazing miracles that God wrought within 24hrs in the life of His people and nations.
1. In 24hrs David, woke up as an ordinary herd boy but he slept like a king of Israel-1 Sam 16:1-13
2. In 24hrs, Mordecai woke up to start his usual career as a gateman, but before the sunset, he wore the royal robe, with a royal crown on his head, with a royal ring in his hands, and rode on a royal horse. He was announced, decorated, proclaimed and celebrated. Esther 6:1-12
3. In 24hrs, Joseph received five(5) miracles according to Genesis 41 from God:
i. Moved from the prison to palace (divine promotion)
ii. Changed his prison garment (divine transformation)
iii. Given a wife (divine helper)
iv. Given a ring (divine authority)
v. He rode on Pharaoh’s horse (divine celebration)
4. In 24hrs, Esther changed status from an orphan slave girl to become a queen-Esther 2:15-17
5. In 24hrs, the prison door holding Peter was open by the angel and his chains were loosed (deliverance)-Acts 12:1-11
6. In 24hrs, God changed the status of the widow of the sons of the prophet from a debtor to creditor and had abundance left- 2 Kings 4:1-7
7. In 24hrs, Paul and Silas were delivered by divine earthquake-a mystery-Acts 16:25-26
8. In 24hrs, Abraham received a messenger of good news that changed his story of childlessness- Gen 18:1-10
9. In 24hrs, blind Bartemeaus got his sight back after many years in darkness-Mark 10:46-52
10. In 24hrs, the man at the beautiful gate got his miracle after he has been there for many years without solution-Acts 3:1-10
11. In 24hrs, the woman with the issue of blood got her healing after many years of suffering shame, insult, reproach because of her affliction-Mark 5:34-42
12. In 24hrs, the man that was born blind received his miracle of brand new eyes and darkness disappeared from his life-John 9:1-9
13. In 24hrs, the four days old dead Lazarus came back alive by the power of resurrection in Jesus Christ- John 11:44
14. In 24hrs, the widow of Nain began her day with sorrow, weeping, and agony of loss of her only son, but before the day ended, her joy, happiness, and hope was restored when Jesus raised his son from the dead Luke 7:11-16
15. In 24hrs, Daniel was thrown into the lion den by his enemies, but God miraculously rescued him by His mighty power- Daniel 6:16-18
16. In 24hrs, the three Hebrew brothers were thrown into the fiery burning furnace because of their faith, but the fourth man in very difficult situation showed up and turn the fire into Air Condition for them-Daniel 3:1-30
17. In 24hrs, the widow of Zarephath and her son woke up to the reality of hunger and life of paupers and waiting to die after the last meal, but before sunset, she got a miracle of abundance-2Kings 17:8-24
18. In 24hrs, the valley of dry bones that had long been there in the grave became a living being after the breath of God entered into them through the prophecy by Prophet Ezekiel- Ezekiel 37:1-14
19. In 24hrs, the power of God parted the Red sea for the children of Israel to pass through to the promised land and the same Red sea consumed their enemies- Exodus 14:13-31
20. In 24hrs, God gave King Jehoshaphat and all Judah victory over the Ammonites, Moabites and Mount Seir, who encompassed them. God set an ambush against them and they destroyed each other- 2 Chro. 20:22-24
21. In 24hrs, the wall of Jericho collapsed, which had hindered the children of Israel after many years- Joshua 6:20
22. In 24hrs, the famine in the land of Samaria became surplus as the servant of God prophesied and there was abundance- 2Kings 6:24-7:10
B. Prayer Points:
1. Father, because you are the controller of time and season, the kind of miracle I don’t bargain for, within 24hrs, let me receive in Jesus name
2. Father, because you are the glory and the lifter of my head, within 24hrs, the promotion and elevation I don’t expect, let me receive in the order of David, Mordecai, and Esther, in Jesus name
3. My father (2x), within 24hrs, that divine helper you have specially ordained for me, please, announce me to him, so that he can identify and locate me, in Jesus name
4. Father, the kind of divine transformation that Mordecai, Esther, David, and Joseph received, please give to me by your mercy in Jesus name
5. Father, within 24hrs, please, give me a new song and new testimony over every unpleasant situation in my life in Jesus' name.
6. Father, within 24hrs every Rea sea that is stopping me from moving into my Canaan land, please, let them partway, in the name of Jesus
7. Father, you ended the long years of affliction in the life of the woman with the issue of blood, please, within 24hrs, let all afflictions in my life end by your power and mercy, in Jesus name
8. Father, because you are the God of abundance, within 24hrs, let the door open that will end all kinds of hunger, lack, and depravity in my life, in Jesus name
9. Father, by the wind of the Holy Spirit you restored life back to the valley of dry bones. Within 24hrs, let the wind blows over every dead situation in my life and let them come back alive in Jesus name
10. Father, because you are the Jehovah Man of war, you rooted all the enemies of Jehoshaphat within 24hrs. Please, within 24hrs, scatter and destroy every foundational enemy of your plan and purpose in my life, in Jesus name
11. Father, within 24hrs, you broke down the prison wall holding Paul and Silas. I decree that every wall of limitation to fulfilling my purpose in life, let them collapse by your divine earthquake, in Jesus name
12. Father, as you did for Abraham, within 24hrs, let me receive the messenger of good news that will change my life forever, in Jesus name
13. Father, within 24hrs, let my status change in such a way that my life will become a surprise to my family and generations as you did for the man at the Beautiful Gate, in Jesus name
14. Father, the kind of new song I have never sung before; the kind of testimony I have never shared before; the kind of congratulations I have never received before; the kind of good news I have never received before; the kind of favour I have never received before; the kind of open door I have never received before; the kind blessings I have never received before; the kind of joy I have never experienced before; within 24hrs, I want to receive them by your mercy and power, in Jesus name
15. Father, within 24hrs, let me be lifted from the valley of shame and misery to the mountain of glory and honour, in the name of Jesus
16. Father, according to your word in Isaiah 60:1, within 24hrs, as the sun is rising, please, let my glory rise and shine and as the sun is setting, please let all my yokes, burdens and shame also set with the day in the name of Jesus
17. Go ahead and praise Him for 10mins for the answers to prayers
