Summary: The problem isn’t believing God can do the impossible, it’s believing God will do the impossible for us! Gods ability is not in question! Our ability to believe is!

You don’t need any more...

That's kind of an edgy phrase huh? Many have said those words, many have heard those words, from children to the elderly and said "what do you mean?" I'll be the one who decides when I have enough! I want more!

In our appetite for life, what gives us the right to feel like we are entitled or deserve anything in the first place?

Believe me, I think if you'll look around you would agree, it certainly isn't the world we live in. More and more everyday we see how It's a dog eat dog world out there, isn't it? But somehow we still feel like we deserve to live a decent life.

A decent life, is that all you think you deserve? That’s what the accuser has society convinced of. I must say, I like Gods way of thinking much better! You see, God says we deserve to have an "ABUNDANT LIFE!"

The accuser with societies help, likes to make everyone think we are entitled to the same kind of life. All is equal, with rationed portions, no better or no less! Which is a less than mediocre kind of life at best.

If that line of thinking were true, how’s come we have a generation or two who has been given everything, still wants more and is still unhappy with what they have?

God is the only one who has truthfully and faithfully ever given us anything, without expectation or guarantee in return.

God has given and gives us love, life, health, provision, hope and everything else anyone could think of, to help us be successful.

All we have to do is believe He did, He does and will continue to do so! See the thing is, God doesn’t need any help with His distribution plan, He has given everyone across the board, undeniable access to the same unlimited amount of resources.

The question is, are you using what God has already given to you?

Sad fact is, far to many aren’t using the availability of the resources they have been given. They keep using self effort and continue to search for what they think they need, instead of using what God has already given to them.

Illus.

A man fell off a cliff, but managed to grab a tree limb on his way down. “Is anyone up there?” he cried out. “I am here, I am the Lord, do you believe me?” the voice said. “Yes, Lord I believe, I really believe, but I can’t hang on much longer.” “If you really believe you will be alright, I will save you, just let go of the branch.” The man paused for a moment then said, “is there anyone else up there?”

Isn't that just like human nature? God has given us His word and promised time and time again to take care of us abundantly and human nature still looks for an alternate route, or an alternate message.

When the only thing we have to do to receive His care, is to trust God that He will do what He says He will do.

Romans 12:3 NKJ

3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith

Luke 17:5-6 NKJ

5 And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.”

6 So the Lord said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.

Here we see two references to faith. The first one says that God has given us a measure of faith. That includes everyone, no one a larger measure or a smaller amount. But everyone receiving the same amount, a measure.

What is a measure? A measure is more than enough what ever amount it is, because it’s Gods standard of faith! If God created the universe with the span of His hand, I think we can rest in the fact, a measure of faith is enough!

The second one says that, If we use the tiniest amount of the measure of faith we have been given, we can do miraculous things!

Mark 11:22-23 NKJ

22. So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.

23. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

The problem isn’t believing God can do the impossible, it’s believing God will do the impossible for us! Gods ability is not in question! Ours is!

Gods Ability is Awesome!

Gods Ability knows no Limits,

there is nothing out of the realm of God's ability!

So if God’s ability is not in question, who’s is?

it must be our ability that is flawed.

That’s what the accuser would like everyone to think! But the fact is God has equipped us with a more than enough, over the top, never ending measure of faith ability, so we could move mountains if we needed to, or wanted to!

1 John 4:17 NKJ

Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.

TBS We have been given what Jesus has! The Bible also says and these are Jesus words, greater things shall we do then Jesus did!

While sometimes this may be hard to get your hands around, does not change the fact that we just are not well equipped, we have been over equipped if we will use what God has given to us!

TBS. he who believes those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says! So if we believe, even with just a tiniest amount of the measure of Faith God has already given to us, we can trust Him to do what we ask of Him!

When we read of the amazing stories and parables in the Bible and the great accomplishments and things that were done through the men and women of God.

We need to realize it was always God who did those things, not the men and women who asked him to do those things. But their willingness to put their mustard size faith to work in Gods Ability!

Vs. 22. So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.

Jesus didn’t just say Have faith, or to be having faith,” but “Have faith in God.” Your measure of faith is only active or activated, when you depend on God for the outcome.

That's why most people say I just don't have enough faith. It's because they're not hooking up their faith with Gods Faith.

If you could hook up your faith with anybody in the world. Why wouldn't you want to hook up your faith with the one who created faith who has all the faith. God is the source of all faith!

No matter how hard we may try on our own...

How many tears may get shed in the process...

Man’s faith in the natural, is never going to remove mountains by itself....

Only the supernatural capabilities of God, can move the mountain and cast it into the sea.

Think about it, the disciples were in the boat, all of them had faith the boat would float on the water. But only Peter had faith that Jesus could make him float when he stepped out of the boat of self dependency onto the water of 100% Christ, or God dependency!

The world is not your source...

Your ability is not your source...

Realize who your source is...

Jesus is your source...

Matt 14:28-33 NKJ

28. And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.”

29. So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus.

Everyone in that boat...could've been walking on water that day…

Everyone who is here this morning can walk on the water of have their needs met as well! It’s true, because TBS says it’s true!

If your going to see your Mountains moved and leveled, you need to realize the truth when the Word declares, “God’s not a respecter of persons!” Gods a respecter of faith!

But Pastor you just don't know all the details and everything that is involved in the size of my need and what needs to be done....

The problem I have is huge…

The need I have is impossible…

The condition I have is rare…

The doctor says my problem can't be cured by medicine…

Your problem, your need and your condition are focus Steelers! Anything that detracts from your faith, is a focus Steeler!

30 And how Peter was walking on water and doing the impossible and became distracted...

30 But when he saw that the wind was boisterous he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!”

31 And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” 32. And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased.

33 Then those who were in the boat came and worshiped Him, saying, “Truly You are the Son of God.”

Why did he doubt?

Circumstances will make you doubt...

Surroundings will make you doubt...

Nay Sayers will cause you to doubt...

Doctors reports and lack of ability will cause you to doubt…

The moment Peter took his eyes of Jesus and noticed the wind and the storm, Peter began to sink and get scared!

That’s when Jesus stepped in and saved him and said “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”

In other words, why did you start having faith in faith, instead of having “Faith in Me”..that's the same question that I'm sure Jesus still ponders on a daily basis with us?

When you focus on the problem, instead of focusing on the problem solver, when you let mountain your facing...get in your line of vision... your faith becomes little or small.

I know it's hard to imagine… But that's when our faith becomes smaller...than the smallest amount God said is required to make anything happen!

Whose report will you believe? The Report of the Lord says that you are healed, the report of the Lord says you are a filled, The report of the Lord says you have victory!

I’ll tell you something else, If the report that you’re hearing or getting doesn’t say those things… It’s not of God and contrary to Scripture! It’s fake news!

Because the Bible says God Himself has given all of us a measure of faith, To believe His report and not the worlds never ending report of defeat!

Ephesians 2:1-12 MSG

It wasn’t so long ago that you were mired in that old stagnant life of sin. You let the world, whichever doesn’t know the first thing about living, tell you how to live. You filled your lungs with polluted unbelief, and then exhaled disobedience. We all did it, all of us doing what we felt like doing, when we felt like doing it, all of us in the same boat. It’s a wonder God didn’t lose his temper and do away with the whole lot of us. Instead, immense in mercy and with an incredible love, he embraced us. He took our sin-dead lives and made us alive in Christ. He did all this on his own, with no help from us! Then he picked us up and set us down in highest heaven in company with Jesus, our Messiah.

7-10 Now God has us where he wants us, with all the time in this world and the next to shower grace and kindness upon us in Christ Jesus. Saving is all his idea, and all his work. All we do is trust him enough to let him do it. It’s God’s gift from start to finish! We don’t play the major role. If we did, we’d probably go around bragging that we’d done the whole thing! No, we neither make nor save ourselves. God does both the making and saving. He creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join him in the work he does, the good work he has gotten ready for us to do, work we had better be doing.

The climate change followers, would have us believe that the world is it going to end in 10 to 12 years if we don’t radically change our way of life as we know it. It has almost become a cultist phenomenon!

The accuser is pulling out all the stops on a moment by moment basis, trying to take as many as he can to hell with him before The Son of Man Returns! Before Jesus returns for His bride!

The Word states when the tribulation period is over, Jesus is is going to rule and reign on earth for a 1000 years, He will cast Satan and all who followed him into the lake of fire and then a new heaven and earth is going to be established.

Clearly there is still much work for the kingdom to be done! So many opportunities awaiting those who are willing to step out of the boat and onto the water of opportunity God has awaiting them!

To believe anything less, would only be a distraction by the accuser to keep you from the destiny God has had for you from the beginning of creation.

Each and everyone of us, no matter what our age is still has a destiny awaiting them in God’s plan for their life!

Just like Peter showed everyone in that boat.....exactly what God was capable of,

God wants you to realize the same thing...

Don’t limit God , by what you think God’s capable of...realize what you have been given is enough to complete whatever the task God gives you!

In your life,

In your health,

In your family,

In your circle of influence,

In your world!

If God be your partner, don't be afraid to step out where ever He tells you.

Knowing that He will always be there right by your side… Seeing you through every step of the way.
