NOTHING, MY HUMAN INTENTIONS, NOTHING

*FRUSTRATE, FRUSTRATION: to bring to nothing, disappointment, to make of none effect, to make void,
I AM SO TIRED OF NOTHING… I AM FRUSTRATED REALLY BAD.
NOT ONLY FISHING WHAT WE EAT… FISHING IS HOW I MAKE THE HOUSE PAYMENT AND BUY POTATOES TO FRY TO EAT WITH THE FISH. I FISHED ALL NIGHT: NOTHING! NOTHING, WE DID OUR BEST AND HAVE CAUGHT NOTHING…
John 21:3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.
John 21:3 (MSG)
3 Simon Peter announced, "I'm going fishing." The rest of them replied, "We're going with you." They went out and got in the boat. They caught nothing that night.
FRUSTRATION: COULD THERE BE A WRONG SIDE AND A RIGHT SIDE…?
IT IS INSANE TO KEEP DOING WORK AND GETTING NOTHING? HOW INSANE TO KEEP GETTING NOTHING, NOTHING? THE SAME THING AND EXPECT A DIFFERENT OUT COME… IF WE CONTINUE THE SAME OLD SAME OLD?
John 21:6 And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.
John 21:6 (NLT)
6 Then he said, “Throw out your net on the right-hand side of the boat, and you’ll get some!” So they did, and they couldn’t haul in the net because there were so many fish in it.
JESUS WAS LIKE FORD… HE HAD A BETTER IDEA!
RUN, RUN, RUN FOREST RUN. IT SEEMS TO BE AN INSTINCT TO WORRY, RUN….
I understand there were several angels assigned to watch over people on the earth. The angels got into a discussion about the people they were watching over. One angel enquired of another angel: WHAT IS YOUR HUMAN DOING? The angel was quick to reply: My human is running to and fro. My human stays in an uproar and worrying all the time. He is so busy all the time. The other angel doesn’t he realize that God is in control and we have been assigned to watch over him. The angel that was watching over his assigned woman, said my human runs around like a chicken with its head cut off. She stays FRUSTRATED and ANGER EVERY DAY. Why said the angel, Isn’t God caring for them? So one of the new angels said: WHAT IS YOUR HUMAN DOING? The angel thought awhile and said: NOTHING, SHE DOES NOTHING ALL DAY, BUT SHE RUNS ALL DAY. The other angel said: WELL, WHY IS SHE RUNNING SO FAST? WHERE IS SHE GOING? NOWHERE, SHE IS JUST RUNNING. Both angels seemed to agree their humans are GOING NO WHERE, THEY JUST GET UP IN THE MORNING AND RUN UNTIL BEDTIME. They don’t ever think about our Father and eternity. They don’t have time to read their Bibles, they forget to pray, they run at a fast pace. Seems humans have no sense of the Father and eternity. They just focus on RUNNING TO AND FRO… OH, THEY ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE, THEY ARE JUST GOING.
Because they are running they never smell the roses. They complain and griping. They run fast and murmur much. They must not know the FATHER DOES NOT LIKE THE HABIT OF MURMURING.
FRUSTRATION? FEAR?
Did you hear about the lady that her grandfather and grandmother died of cancer? Her dad died of cancer? She told her mom, we are going to die of cancer. She studied the medical history of her family and they all died of cancer. She noted all the family ate peanut butter. She concluded PEANUT BUTTER causes cancer. She made her mother and her quit eating peanut butter. It is sad to tell you but her mother died 10 years later of cancer. Now the daughter worried and worried. She studied the SIGNAL SIGNS OF CANCER, she did not ever eat peanut butter. She would not allow it in their house. She read the articles and the books that had any cancer information. She became an expert on cancer. She worried every day. She worried, fretted, and knew she was going to die of cancer. Her blood pressure was high because she knew she was going to die from cancer. The lady died when she was 43, she had a massive heart attack from needless stress and worry.
WHY DO WE GET FRUSTRATED IN DAILY LIVING?
*1. We draw the conclusion that God doesn’t hear my prayers so we get frustrated? Heavens brass, earth iron.
Deuteronomy 28:23 And thy heaven that is over thy head shall be brass, and the earth that is under thee shall be iron.
*2. We get frustrated because we forget about DIVINE TIMING?
John 11:39 Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.
*3. We get frustrated because God prospers person and seems to frustrates another’s desires.
*4. FRUSTRATION CAN COME BY HANGING WITH THE WRONG CROWD… UNEQUALLY YOKED…
1 Kings 22:48 Jehoshaphat made ships of Tharshish to go to Ophir for gold: but they went not; for the ships were broken at Eziongeber.
Jehoshaphat was a good man… BUT HIS PLANS WERE HUMAN PLANS, HE DID NOT SEEK THE LORD. Jehoshaphat made a peace pack and alliance with SIN LOVING NATIONS…
2 Chronicles 20:37 Then Eliezer the son of Dodavah of Mareshah prophesied against Jehoshaphat, saying, Because thou hast joined thyself with Ahaziah, the LORD hath broken thy works. And the ships were broken, that they were not able to go to Tarshish.
*5. FRUSTRATION CAME BECAUSE JEHOSHAPHAT WOULD NOT HEED THE WARNING OF THE MAN OF GOD….
Elijah tried and tried to warn AHAB and JEZEBEL.
1 Kings 19:2 Then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by to morrow about this time.
*6. FRUSTRATION WILL GROW WHEN WE DO NOT VALUE CHASTISEMENT.
Hebrews 12:11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
*7. THE LACK OF GODLY HOPE WILL ALWAYS BRING FRUSTRATION.
Hebrews 6:19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;
A negative attitude and a unbridled tongue will bring frustration.
James 3:8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
*8. TO DEVELOP A JUDGMENT SPIRIT WILL BRING DEEP ROOTS OF DISAPPOINTMENTS AND FRUSTRATION.
Matthew 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
*9. WE HAVE BEEN WARNED TO HAVE FAITH IN GOD… WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE GOD AND FRUSTRATION WILL BE A WET BLANKET THAT WILL SMOTHER JOY AND PEACE.
Mark 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
*10. FRUSTRATION COMES WHEN WE FORGET GOD REWARDS HIS PEOPLE.
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is,
and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
*11. FRUSTRATION CAN COME AS A RESULTS OF THE LACK OF A HEALTHY PRAYER LIFE, LOSE HEART.
Luke 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
Luke 18:1 (MSG) Jesus told them a story showing that it was necessary for them to pray consistently and never quit.
Luke 18:1 (ESV) And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart.
*12. FRUSTRATION COMES WHEN WE QUIT TRYING…
Luke 18:5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.
The widow kept pressing the judge…
GOD CAN HANDLE YOUR PROBLEMS. NEVER BE FRUSTRATED… THERE IS A SOLUTION.
Recently I went out to start the Flex and it would not start. I was in a hurry to get to church. I had he music loaded, the brief case and click, click, click. I did not have time to jump the Flex. So I loaded another car and went to church. I came home and took the jump box to jump my battery and start the Flex. My jump box was down. So I had to charge the box overnight. I was frustrated. I had a long trip the next morning. I popped the hood and connected the battery. It would not even click it was so dead. The jump box never helped. I had to load up in another car and travel to a distant city. The average life span of a battery is 3 years. I thought mine was two years old. I attended the two day prayer conference and head home. I am just not mechanical at all. I worried about the battery all the way home. My Flex has a TV, DVD, and 2 -110 plugs. It requires an expensive battery. I was frustrated. I stopped at the auto parts store, they said $225.00. Come to find out my two year old battery was 8 years old. I was really frustrated now. I forgot to say thank you Lord for more than double the life span, because I was frustrated. I car not get the Flex to town, it would not jump. So on the way home I have a friend that helps me, I called them to come and put the battery in the Flex. He could not come? Now I am frustrated even more. I prayed on the way home, Lord please help me. I unloaded my car, my wife is at work.
She knows where the tools are? I am really frustrated now. I called her and she did not know where my tools were. Want to talk frustration? I popped the hood. There was my 8 year old battery and I promise it was laughing at me. The second socket I got out worked, usually I go through them all. The same socket fit all three nuts. In 5 minutes the old battery was out and the new one it… WOW, IF MY MOM WERE ALIVE SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN PROUD OF ME. ALL THAT FRUSTRATION WAS FOR NOTHING. I could not wait to call Linda at work. She ask what was wrong? I said: NOTHING! I DID IT ALL IN 5 MINUTES. She didn’t believe me as I usually mess up whatever I am working? WOW, JESUS HELPED ME… HE ASKED ME: DO YOU REALLY TRUST ME?
CONCLUSION: NEVER EVER ALLOW FRUSTRATION TO HINDER GOD’S PLAN FOR YOU. Frustration is but a test.
