Summary: Jesus is the only one that opens and when He does it cannot be closed.

When God sent His only begotten Son here on earth to save us all. He did it so that we can all come back to Him through His Son Jesus Christ. There was no other way to come back to God except in Jesus and in Jesus the door was opened to His presence again.

In Adam the first man the way to God was closed for a long time when Adam fell through disobedience -

Genesis 3

Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?

And the woman said to the serpent, We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.

Then the serpent said to the woman, You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.

So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.

And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.

Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, Where are you?

So he said, I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.

And He said, Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?

Then the man said, The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.

And the Lord God said to the woman, What is this you have done?

The woman said, The serpent deceived me, and I ate.

So the Lord God said to the serpent:

Because you have done this,

You are cursed more than all cattle,

And more than every beast of the field;

On your belly you shall go,

And you shall eat dust

All the days of your life.

And I will put enmity

Between you and the woman,

And between your seed and her Seed

He shall bruise your head

And you shall bruise His heel.

To the woman He said:

I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception;

In pain you shall bring forth children;

Your desire shall be for your husband,

And he shall rule over you.

Then to Adam He said, Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, You shall not eat of it:

Cursed is the ground for your sake;

In toil you shall eat of it

All the days of your life.

Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you,

And you shall eat the herb of the field.

In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread

Till you return to the ground,

For out of it you were taken;

For dust you are,

And to dust you shall return.

And Adam called his wife’s name Eve, because she was the mother of all living.

Also for Adam and his wife the Lord God made tunics of skin, and clothed them.

Then the Lord God said, Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever— therefore the Lord God sent him out of the garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken. So He drove out the man; and He placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.

Romans 5:12 - 21

Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned— (For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come. But the free gift is not like the offence. For if by the one man’s offence many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many. And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgement which came from one offence resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offences resulted in justification. For if by the one man’s offence death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)

Therefore, as through one man’s offence judgement came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.

Moreover the law entered that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more, so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

In Adam we could not approach God because of the fall and through the fall sin entered the human race and in sin came death meaning there was a separation from God because of sin - Isaiah 59: 1-2 ; 2 Thessalonians 1:9 ; Romans 6:23 ; Ezekiel 18:4.

In Christ we can now go to God because of what Jesus did for us all, He became sin for us and this made us free to go back to the Father - 2 Corinthians 5:21 ; Romans 3:25 - 26 ; Galatians 3:13 ; 1 John 3:5.

Through faith in what Jesus as done we are free to go to the throne room of grace - Hebrews 4:16. Jesus is the door that has made that possible for us all. Without Him we would have been lost, the bible says we were like a sheep without a Shepherd - Mark 6:34 ; 1 Kings 22:17 ; Matthew 9:36.

Jesus in His love for us did not want us to continue in the state that Adam left us and He came to be the Good Shepherd according to the book of

John 10: 1 - 18

Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers. Jesus used this illustration, but they did not understand the things which He spoke to them.

Jesus the Good Shepherd

Then Jesus said to them again, Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep. I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd.

Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.

Jesus the Good Shepherd laid down His life for us all, so that the way to God will not be closed forever. He came to be the door and lead us back to His Father, like it's written we cannot go through another door to go back to the Father when He as spoken that He is the door. Acts 4:12 says this "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

There is simply no other way that we can make it except in Jesus. I know that before Jesus appeared to me, I was looking everywhere for solutions to my problem but one day after seeking and not getting any answers from every other source I suddenly saw Jesus appear to me, came out of my body and saw myself walking with Him and having a conversation with Him and when it was time He sent me back, after coming back I was very sad and since then He as revealed Himself to me seven times on different occasions. This is why I can boldly say that Jesus is the only way to the Father.

Jesus is the Door.

I have to emphasise to us all that Jesus is truly the Door to God the Father and loves us all so much that He gave Himself for us all.

Revelation 3:20

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

John 10:9

I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.

Psalm 24:7

Lift up your heads, O you gates!

And be lifted up, you everlasting doors!

And the King of glory shall come in.

Because Jesus is the Door we can by faith knock on the door at anytime and He been the Door will always open up for us - Matthew 7:7. He said He will never leave us nor forsake us - Deuteronomy 31:6 and He does not lie -

Hebrews 6:18.

In the book of John 10 He said to us that we His sheep will hear His voice because He knows us by name and as He calls us we will follow Him and because we know Him as the Door and the Good Shepherd we will not follow the voice of a stranger.

This is very true because when Jesus appeared to me like I said He actually called my name and I was so surprised at that and what I asked Him was that how did He know my name? He looked at me, gave me a smile and looked at me from the top of my head to my feet and said to me, I know everything about you, after saying that He gave me the things I would be doing for His kingdom here on earth and sent me back here on earth.

Jesus is the Door.

The door to the kingdom is open for us all in Christ, we are to go the Father and trust in Him - Revelation 4:1 and John 14:1.

We are the children of God by right and we have every right to go before Him as long as we know Him through His Son. We have a Father who cares deeply for us and He is inviting us all to come to Him and enjoy the benefits of the Kingdom - Revelation 3: 7 - 8; John 3:16; John 14:1 and Acts 2:38.

Jesus is our Door and in Him we have everything we need according to His word in Psalm 23: 1 - 6.

The Lord is my shepherd;

I shall not want.

He makes me to lie down in green pastures;

He leads me beside the still waters.

He restores my soul;

He leads me in the paths of righteousness

For His name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

I will fear no evil;

For You are with me;

Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;

You anoint my head with oil;

My cup runs over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me

All the days of my life;

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord

Forever.

Trusting in Jesus as our Door will always make a way for us in times of trouble - Isaiah 43: 16 - 19. And will supply all our needs - Philippians 4:19.

To go back to the Father is always through Jesus and He said so in the book of John 14: 1 - 6

Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.”

Thomas said to Him, Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?

Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

I did not know this was true until one day after Jesus had appeared to me, that I woke up from my sleep in the middle of the night and saw a bright light in my room and the room was dark because I sleep with my light off. As I looked at this light I saw a writing on my wall and i read this writing and read it out, that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. After reading it I fell asleep and I had to ask where it was written in the bible and I heard a voice saying to me to open John 14:6.

In reading it I saw it written in the bible that Jesus is the Way ( Door ) back to the Father.

Jesus is the Door.

Jesus who is the Door went to heaven after His crucifixion - Matthew 27: 1 - 54 to prepare a place ( mansions ), for us all, where we will be forever in His presence.

Revelation 4: 1 - 11

The Throne Room of Heaven

After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.

Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne. And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald. Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads. And from the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices. Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the[d] seven Spirits of God.

Before the throne there was a sea of glass, like crystal. And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back. The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature like a calf, the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle. The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying:

Holy, holy, holy,

Lord God Almighty,

Who was and is and is to come!

Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying:

You are worthy, O Lord,

To receive glory and honor and power;

For You created all things,

And by Your will they exist and were created.

Revelation 3: 7 - 13

The Faithful Church

And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write,

These things says He who is holy, He who is true, He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens: I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name. Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie—indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you. Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

Remain blessed in His presence always and may Jesus who is the Door continuously lead us into green pastures as we go in and out to do our daily duties. And may He show us the right path to walk daily to His glory. Amen
