CORRAL? ARGUING WITH THE POTTER? VS TRUSTING.

This is more than a one part lesson. Perhaps you could condense the material. Our enemy is trying to CORRAL GOD’S PEOPLE.
2 Peter 2:9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
COME LET US CONSIDER THE TOOLS THAT OUR ENEMY TRIES TO USE AGAINST GOD’S PEOPLE TO KEEP US IN A CORRAL?
Depression? Discouragement? Anger? Unfaithfulness? Terrorism? Bitterness? Un-forgiveness? Mood altering ---drugs? Alcohol? Relationships?
I want to focus on one: LACK OF TRUST? WORRY AND FEAR ARE ENEMIES OF FAITH AND TRUST! CAN WE SEE OUR SPIRITUAL ENEMIES ARE TRYING TO PUT US IN THE BARN AND CORRAL OR KEEP US ALL PENNED UP … CORRAL us by worry and fear?
TEXT: Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
What have I to dread? What have I to fear? I am leaning on the everlasting arms of Jesus. God promised if we would fix our minds and hearts on God and His word, He would take care of us. FEAR and WORRY give way to emotional Yo-Yo’s. By faith we must stay our minds focusing on God’s abilities not ours. FAITH will keep us above the water. We must keep at it. Rest if you must but don't quit. FEAR and WORRY HINDERS THE WORK OF FAITH!
YOU MAY THROW IN THE TOWEL, BUT GOD THROWS THE TOWEL BACK AND SAYS: IF YOU MUST, WIPE THE SWEAT OF YOUR FACE, YOU ARE ALMOST THERE. NOW GET BACK IN THE RING. LET US CONSIDER FEAR AND WORRY MARRING THE CLAY… CORRAL
**VASOVAGAL SYNCOPE: HAVE YOU EVER KNOWN A PERSON THAT SEES BLOOD AND THEY PASS OUT? (Vasovagal syncope) This is an overreaction of fear that instantly drives your blood pressure up and your heart rate increases and it TRIGGERS a person to faint. FEAR and WORRY plays spiritual games in your mind and heart.
THE LAST DAY BATTLES WILL DEAL WITH FEAR VS FAITH. Doubt and a lack of trust are by-products of worry and fear. PANIC, FEAR AND WORRY ARE ISOLATING PEOPLE AND CHURCHES.
Luke 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
ARE WE FAITH DRIVEN? OR FEAR DRIVEN? ARE WE SITTING BACK IN DREAD AND FEAR WHAT MIGHT HAPPEN? We see what the bombing of airlines and jets into the twin towers is trying to do? Can we see what COVID-19 is trying to do to us? We see a bomb in a camper in Nashville, ONE MAN IN FEAR… WHAT DID HE FEAR? THE 5-G COMPUTER SYSTEM? People are living in terror because of what they hear and see. The enemy rules by FEAR and WORRY. Will we be terrified at what we see, what we hear on the news and governmental regulations? Every freedom we hold dear is now at stake. The whole world is shaken. SEEMS GREAT PANIC IS BIRTHED IN FEAR and WORRY.
Have we allowed FEAR and WORRY TO DOMINATE US…? Spiritual fainting in ANXIETY and APPREHENSION. Are we expecting the worse? We seem to be allowing fear to create an uproar of SHEER PANIC. A panic of negativism and anxiety smothering our faith?
ARE WE ALLOWING FEAR AND WORRY TO CAUSE US TO OVERREACT SO IT PULLS AN EMOTIONAL AND SPIRITUAL TRIGGER? WE WALK BY FAITH NOT BY SIGHT? SOMETIMES EVEN WITH OUR BEST EFFORT WE GET MESSED UP. WE MIGHT EVEN TEND TO LOSE OUR SPIRITUAL FOCUS?
Life has its ups and downs. I have seen several copy a post on Face Book. MY 2021 RESOLUTION IS TO: “LOVE AND CARE FOR MY SELF MORE.” Danger, danger. Contrary to public opinion: LIFE IS NOT ABOUT ME… LIFE IS ABOUT JESUS. We need to quit FEAR and WORRY and TRUST GOD’S UNSEEN HANDS. The gates of hell cannot stop God’s plan.
Willie Nelson has a song: NO BODY SLIDES MY FRIEND. IT IS A TRUTH ON WHICH YOU CAN DEPEND. YOU CAN RUN AND SHOUT BUT IT ALL EQUALS OUT. NO BODY SLIDES MY FRIEND.
God has a plan and a purpose. God says fear and worry brings a quicker death.
Jeremiah 18:4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
WHY ARE WE NOT TRUSTING GOD BY FAITH? WILL WE ALLOW FEAR AND WORRY TO BECOME THE DRIVING FORCE IN OUR DAILY LIFE? IF YOU GIVE THE DEVIL AN INCH HE WILL BECOME A RULER? LIVING IN A CORRAL?
God knows FEAR and WORRY are counter-productive to FAITH. God knows we face NEGATIVE STORMS that can get our FAITH messed up. That is life. That happens when you are working with (PEOPLE) clay, the potter KNOWS simply start over and use the same clay to make another vessel.
FUSS, FUSS? ARGUE, ARGUE? STRIFE? QUIT ARGUING WITH GOD AND TRUST HIS PLAN! WHO MADE YOU BOSS? COULD WE BE TRAPPED IN A CORRAL?
It is sheer insanity to strive with the Creator of the universe. Can you imagine THE CLAY saying, MASTER, POTTER you don’t know diddly- squat. Argue with God. Fuss, quarrel, and WORRY in FEAR and tell God HE CAN’T HANDLE THIS? Many tears and heart aches will grow in the heart of clay (people) that argue and allow FEAR and WORRY to rule their behavior. Can you dispute by WORRY and FEAR to tell God: YOU BETTER STOP GOD. GOD YOU HAVE THIS ALL WRONG! MANY TEARS await those who allow FEAR and WORRY to hinder God’s plans.
GOD SAYS TRUST ME. FAITH SAYS GOD WILL PROVIDE THE LAMB. FOR GOD KNOWS WHAT TO GIVE AND WHAT NOT TO GIVE…
2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
God knows what FEAR and WORRY brings to His people. That is why God gives us POWER, LOVE AND A SOUND MIND… THE QUESTION IS DO WE TRUST GOD’S PLAN or shall we be driven by FEAR and WORRY?
DO YOU HAVE FEAR AND WORRY? WILL YOU EXERCISE FAITH? WE MIGHT FIND THERE ARE TWO POSSIBILITIES THAT TRIALS, PROBLEMS AND STORMS CAN BRING? WHAT CAN STORMS DO? STORMS ARE NEUTRAL, THEY ARE NEITHER GOOD NOR BAD. STORMS JUST REVEAL FEAR OR FAITH? CORRAL?
Remember it is not how much water your boat is in… the real issue is how much water is in your boat? I believe anyone in the boat could have spoken GREAT CALM.
Mark 4:35 And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side. 36 And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. ONE OF THE GREATEST TRAPS THE ENEMY CAN USE IN TROUBLED TIMES IS WORRY AND FEAR? BECAUSE WORRY AND FEAR CAN NOT CO-EXIST WITH FAITH AND TRUST. CORRAL?
Proverbs 29:25 The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.
Today we listen to CNN, Fox and the negative media to define whether we exercise faith or fear. We seem to allow the fear of human opinion to kill the effectiveness of GOD’S WORD and our FAITH. We must learn we can trust that GOD WILL protect His children. WORRY and FEAR in people’s heart can become a very dangerous trap. FAITH SAYS I WILL PUT MY TRUST IN GOD’S MERCY AND GRACE. Will we allow the news and the negative crowd to INTIMIDATE THE CHURCH?
LET US TALK TO HAMAN TRYING TO BIRTH FEAR IN MORDECIA BY FEAR, WORRY AND INTIMIDATION. HE TRIED TO TRAPPED IN MORDECAI IN A CORRAL OF FEAR?
MORDECIA did not allow fear of his adversaries to terrify him. God plan of faith released an OPEN DOOR TO GREAT OPPORTUNITY. Because Mordecai’s fear and worry lead to a KNEE MAIL. GOD KNOWS HOW TO DELIVER…

CONCLUSION: THE ENEMY OF GOD IS TRYING TO CORRAL GOD’S PEOPLE AND GOD’S CHURCH. We stand on the written word of God. A lot of crazy stuff is happening in the world and in the church. We must trust God’s word. FEAR and WORRY will always hinder the work of God. Refuse to allow FEAR and WORRY to corral us. Our enemy’s tactic will be to confine God’s people, to pen us away from the public view.
