Summary: What does it mean to be a church member? What is expected of me? As members of a church we each hold a unique place in the church. As members of a church we each have certain responsibilities in the local body of believers.

I AM A CHURCH MEMBER

For many people, church membership simply means that we attend church, and we will do so until we cease to be happy where we attend, then we will find another church to attend. We think that being a church member is something that gives us the right to vote on matter that arise within the congregation. Beyond that, we usually give little thought to what being a member of a local church really means. What we fail to comprehend is that, as members of God's church, we are part of something that transcends the local congregation. If we are saved, we are members of the Body of Christ, v. 13, 27.

We are the representatives of Jesus Christ in this world. The Bible teaches us that the members of His Body are in this world for a purpose.

• We are to serve as Christ’s Ambassadors to the lost: “Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God,” 2 Corinthians 5:20.

• We are to serve as Salt and Light: “Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven,” Matthew 5:13–16.

• We are to serve as His vessels, which He fills with His Spirit, to carry out His work: “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me,” Galatians 2:20.

We are much more than that, but our primary purpose as His Body in the world is to represent Him faithfully, fully, and fervently before a lost and dying world. God, in His infinite wisdom, as taken the members of His body and sovereignly placed them together in local congregations. Calvary Baptist Church is one of those local assemblies of believers.

ThInk of it this way: The Body of Christ is a universal body made up of all believers around the world, while local congregations are the visible manifestation of His body in the world.

As a member of a local church, I have many responsibilities that go beyond simply showing up for services every now and them. My duties extend beyond giving a few dollars here and there. My responsibilities in this local body of believers, to both Christ and the other members of this church, are very solemn and very serious.

For the next several Sunday mornings, I want to take the Bible and talk to you about what our responsibility as church members involves. We need to understand that God expects us to function as members of His body in the world. He expects us to faithfully carry out our duties to Him in love for Him and His people. He expects us to take the statement I Am A Church Member, and understand what it means for us as individuals and as a local congregation. Then, having understood who we are as a church member, and what our responsibilities as a church member involves, He expects us to be the people He saved us to be.

So, let’s consider what the statement I Am A Church Member involves. I want to take that statement and, and each week, I want to share a personal commitment statement that represents our duties as members of His church. The first commitment state I want to make is this: Since I Am A Church Member, I Will Be A Gifted Church Member.

1 Corinthians 12:12-27

I WILL BE A GIFTED CHURCH MEMBER

Intro: The Corinthian church was a carnal church. The problems they had were deeply rooted and threatened to destroy their witness as a Christians church. Let me catalogue a few of the issues they faced.

They were serious divisions in their church, 1 Corinthians 1:10-13.

They were immature in their faith and living like they were still in Christ, 1 Corinthians 3:1-3.

They allowed gross immorality to exist in their church, 1 Corinthians 5:1-2.

In spite of the sin in their congregation, Paul tells them they were still a congregation that possessed and exercised many spiritual gifts, 1 Corinthians 1:7. This carnal church exhibited most, if not all, of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. This simply reminds us that it isn’t just a select few saints who have and who can exercise the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Every believer has at least one spiritual gift, and most possess more than one.

• “As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God,” 1 Peter 4:10.

• “But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal,” 1 Corinthians 12:7.

The problem at Corinth was not that they didn’t possess any spiritual gifts, it was that they all tried to exercise gifts they had not been given by the Holy Spirit. When God assigns gifts to a believer, He does so according His own sovereign will, 1 Corinthians 12:11; 18. Thus, the believers at Corinth were stepping outside the boundaries laid down by the Lord and were trying to practice gifts they had not received. As a result, there was chaos and confusion in the church.

The Corinthians were guilty of desiring the most flamboyant of the spiritual gifts. Evidently, this church had decided that some gifts were more important than the other gifts. Thus, they longed for the gifts that made them seem more spiritual in the eyes of their fellow church members. Simply put, they all wanted to have the spiritual gifts that called attention to self, while they ignored the gifts that most honored and glorified God.

From reading 1 Corinthians 12-14, it seems clear that the Corinthian believers held to the belief that every Christian should possess the gift of tongues. Chapter 14 is all about the regulation of that missed gift. While they longed for the gift of speaking in tongues, they ignored those gifts which were less exciting. They ignored the gifts that would have allowed them to minister to the needs of the other members of the church. It seems they had no time for gifts like ministry, helps, exhortation, giving, mercy, etc.

This same practice continues in our day. We are told that if we want to truly enjoy the Lord then we must “be baptized in the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues.” People who believe that choose the most conspicuous gift and attach great significance to it, when God says that this particular gift serves to build up the individual who practices it, while it does nothing to edify the church as a whole, 1 Corinthians 14:4; 12:7.

It should also be noted that Scripture make it crystal clear that not every believer will possess the same spiritual gifts, 1 Corinthians 12:29-30. In those verses Paul asks a series of rhetorical questions. Paul teaches us that we do not all have the same gifts. So, to make tongues, or any other gift, the proof of the Spirit’s presence in a life is to add to Scripture and to teach false doctrine. That kind of thinking does nothing but bring confusion and division into the church, and neither of these things are of the Lord, 1 Corinthians 14:33. All that aside, the so-called gift of “speaking in unknown tongues” as it is practiced in churches today, is not the the same as the New Testament gift of tongues! What is practiced today is nothing more than self-serving emotionalism.

With that in mind, Paul speaks to this situation in verse 31. He tells them that they are guilty of “coveting” gifts they have not been given. Paul tells them that he wants to show them a better way.

This brings me to the thought that I want to discuss with you today. Every believer everywhere has been gifted by God for service. This means that you possess least one of the spiritual gifts. Yes, even you have been gifted by the Holy Spirit to serve God in this world. It means that you posses a spiritual gift that is essential to the proper functioning of the Body of Christ as a whole, and of this church in particular.

As this passage opens up to us, we are going to see that while we differ in our gifts, abilities, positions in the body of Christ, we occupy a vital and important place in the body of Christ. 1 Corinthians 12 makes it clear that while we are distinct in our functions, we are members of one unified body. The church, not the building, but the redeemed saints of God, is an organism made of up many parts, yet it is still a cohesive unit, that will function as a whole body when each member of that body fulfills his or her assigned place in that body.

Lets begin the process of unpacking these verses. Since I Am A Church Member, I must determine in my heart that I Will Be A Gifted Member. If I Am A Gifted Member, then I must use the gifts I have been given for the glory of God and for the good of the Body of Christ. I must use my gifts to serve God as a member in this local congregation.

Let’s explore this passage and see what it has to say to us as individuals and as a local body of believers. It is my desire that each of us will understand that we are unique in the gifts we possess, but that we are to use those gifts for the good of the whole congregation. I Am A Church Member: I Will Be A Gifted Believer.

As we study this text today, I want to talk about How The Body Originates; How The Body Is Organized; and How The Body Operates. Let’s talk about these truths as we consider the statement I Will Be A Gifted Believer.

I. V. 13 HOW THE BODY ORIGINATES

A. It Is A Passive Work - Some people tell us that we should “seek the baptism of the Spirit.” They say that if we seek it and meet all the conditions and do our part then perhaps God will grace us with a second blessing and give us the Holy Ghost. The problem with this kind of thinking is that it is not found in the Bible. It is a false teaching!

At the moment of conversion, we are given the Holy Spirit and we are placed into the Body of Christ. It is not something we seek, nor is it based on what we do, it a sovereign act of God Almighty!

The word “baptized” means “to immerse in, to place into something.” The baptism of the Spirit is a real event and it happens at the moment of conversion. It is not something that occurs at a later time!

The truth is, if the Charismatics are correct when they tell us that speaking in tongues is evidence of conversion, then people like us, who do not speak in tongues, are still lost in our sins. The Bible teaches us that if you do not have the Holy Spirit, you are not saved, Romans 8:9.

Thankfully, those who hold up tongues as the proof of salvation are wrong and misguided. Every child of God possesses the Holy Spirit. He was placed in us when we were saved. At the moment of salvation, the believer becomes the “temple of God”. 1 Corinthians 3:16 says, “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” 1 Corinthians 6:19 says, “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?”

We are placed in the Body of Christ when we believe the Gospel and are saved by grace. The only thing we do is take God at His Word, and He “baptizes” us into the Body of Christ. We don’t become a member of His body by our own efforts. It is something that happens to us when we are saved. It is a passive work.

B. It Is A Personal Work - Verse 13 says “We are all baptized into one body”. Every believer experiences this work of God on a personal level. Every single saint of God who has believed the Gospel and has been saved by grace has experienced the baptism of the Holy Spirit and is a member of the Body of Christ.

What you should ask yourself today is this: Have I truly been born again? The fact that you may not be as gifted as some other member of the church makes no difference. What matters is your relationship with Jesus Christ. Have you been born again? Are you a child of God? Those are questions that no one here but you can answer.

So, what is the Gospel? That question is answered by two important verses.

• “For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures,” 1 Corinthians 15:3–4.

• “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life,” John 3:16.

The Gospel is this: God loves you, and in spite of your sins, God sent His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to die for you on the cross. When Jesus died, He paid for your sins. Then, three days later, Jesus rose again from the dead. He lives today to serve as the only means of salvation. If you will look to Him by faith, He will save you from your sins, forgive your sins, and transform your life.

How does one receive salvation? That question is answered by these verses.

• “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation…For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:9–10, 13.

• “…Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved…,” Acts 16:31.

• “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him,” John 3:36.

• “He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life,” 1 John 5:12.

If you have never come to Jesus for salvation, the time to do that is right now. Believe the Gospel and the Lord will save you. If you have believed the Gospel and claim Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, He has done a personal work in your life, and you are a member in His body today.

C. It Is A Permanent Work - Once a person has been “baptized” into the body of Christ, they are in His body to stay. The phrase, “are we all baptized”, is in a verb tense that speaks of a “one time action that took place at some unspecified time in the past, but the results of which carry over into the future”. In other words, when you came to Jesus for salvation, there is a one time for all time action that placed you into the body of Christ. When you get in the body of Christ, you do not get out!

This is good news for those who are saved today. There is nothing yo an do that will sever your relationship with God. He saved you by His grace, He placed you in His Son, and one day He will take you home to Heaven to be with Him forever.

That is how the Body of Christ originates. It is a sovereign work of God in which He takes lost sinners, saves the by His grace, and transfers them from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of His dear Son, Colossians 1:13.

• It is a sovereign work of God in which He makes the dead to live, Ephesians 2:1, 4.

• It is a sovereign work of God in which the utterly transforms those who believe on Jesus, 2 Corinthians 5:17; Ephesians 2:10.

• It is a sovereign work of God about which God will never change His mind, John 10:28; 1 Peter 1:5; John 6:37-40.

• It is a sovereign work of God in which He causes the blind to see, John 9:25.

• It is a sovereign work of God in which God gives us everlasting life through His Son the Lord Jesus Christ, 1 Corinthians 15:22; Colossians 1:13.

Are you in the body of Christ? If not, get in. If you are, then rejoice in all that God has done for you through grace and the gift of faith. You didn’t earn what you have in Him, it was His gift to you, Ephesians 2:8-9.

I. How The Body Originates

II. V. 14-24 HOW THE BODY IS ORGANIZED

Every believer is placed into the body of Christ at the moment of salvation. Since this is true, it is important for us to understand how and where we fit into this body. In these verses, we are helped to understand our position in the body of Christ.

A. V. 14 The Body And Its Completeness - To help us understand this verse better, think about the human body, or even your automobile. The truth we need to grasp is that each part is essential to the proper function of the whole. Yet, the body or the car is thought of as one entity.

This is true of the body of Christ as well. His body is composed of believers from all walks of life, all cultures, all races, all stratum of society, and all levels of wealth. His body is made up of people who have nothing else in common, except the fact that they are saved by grace and that Jesus Christ is their Savior.

The Body of Christ is a unified diversity. When every believer fills his or her place, that is, the place they were assigned by God, the body is able to function as it should. When that happens, God is glorified and the work of the Kingdom is carried out.

If you were to take a gas tank, a tire, a radiator hose and a steering wheel and lay them side by side, nothing would happen. They have absolutely nothing in common, except for the fact that they are part of a unit called a car. Yet, when that tank holds gas; when that tire is mounted to a wheel and attached to the car; when that hose carries water and that steering wheel is in the proper place, the car can function as it should.

The same is true of the body of Christ! Every believer is part of a larger unit and has a function to perform. When we all do our part, unity and blessing are what follow.

B. V. 15-20 The Body And Its Components - In these verses, Paul allows his sense of humor to shine through. He uses an illustration that is very comical to emphasize His point.

• He speaks first about the feet and hands. Feet, as you know, do not usually receive the same level of attention that a hand receives. On the other hand, we use the hand for shaking hands and for gesturing to others. The foot doesn’t usually get involved in that sort of thing. They are usually trapped in smelly shoes and used day after day without receiving much attention at all.

• He speaks next about the ears and eyes. Let’s face it, the ears usually don’t garner the same sort of attention that eyes do. The eyes have poems and songs written about them. The eyes are used as the inspiration for songs and poems. People stare lovingly into the eyes. Th eyes are truly the window to the soul. Nobody writes poems or sings songs about the ear. No one stares into the ear with a sense of love or longing.

While these two feet and ears do not receive the same amount of attention as other, more desirable parents of the body, the feet and ears are still members of the same body. And just because they these parts of the body do not get the attention they think they deserve, they have no right to try and divorce themselves from the rest of the body.

• If every part were an eye, the body would be useless for anything but seeing, and the eyes could not even see with out the optic nerves and the brain. It needs other parts of the body to carry out its primary function.

• If the whole body was a foot, it would be good for nothing, because the foot us useless without the ankle, the leg, the knees, the him, the backbone, the brain, etc.

Do you see Paul’s point?

Verse 18 tells us that God has placed us in the body, to serve as the part He wants us to be. It may not be a high profile position; it may not be glamorous’ it may not even be what we want to do, but if it pleases the Lord, then our place is the right place for us. Thus, no matter where you are functioning within the body of Christ remember that you were placed in that position by the will of God.

To me, there is no greater joy that to know you are walking in the will of God. If I fulfill my place in the body, then I am doing just that. What God wants us to know is that we need to surrender to our place in the Body of Christ. God knows us and He knows where we can function best. When we submit to His will, and fulfill the position we have been assigned, God is glorified and His Kingdom is advanced in the world! That should be our primary goal, 1 Corinthians 10:31.

C. V. 21-24 The Body And Its Codependence - These verses teach us that every member of the body is necessary to the proper functioning of the rest of the body.

• The eye cannot tell the hand that it doesn’t need it. If the eyes were disconnected from the hand, it would never be able to attain the objects it desires.

• The head cannot tell the feet it doesn’t need them. Without the feet, the head has no way to get from place to place.

• Every part of the body needs every other part to fully carry out the work of the body.

Think for a minute about your body. How many of you have given any though to you liver today? We rarely give it a second thought, but take the out of your body and you will die. Do you ever think about your toes? No, but without them, you would not be able to balance the rest of your body. What about your thumbs? Thank God we have them, or else we would be hampered every minute of our lives. There are many more parts of our bodies that we take for granted. Yet, if any one of those parts was removed, the whole body would feel the loss.

What about your car? When you buy a car, you are interested in the interior and the exterior. Does it have electric seats? Does it have leather seats? Does it have GPS? Does it have air conditioning? Does it get good gas mileage? But, when you get into your car to go somewhere, do you take time to think about the distributor, the radiator cap, the spark plugs, the hood latch, the lug nuts, the oil pan bolts, etc? Probably not! However, those things are more essential to the proper operation of the car than the other things open which we place more emphasis. If those neglected parts were to fail, or come up missing, you would know it right away.

The whole point of this passage is to teach us the truth that every member of the Body of Christ, no matter how insignificant their office or gift may appear, is essential to the proper operation of the entire body. No one should ever believe that he or she is unimportant to the operation of the body. No one should think that they are not needed. No one should ever say to, or about another believer, “We don’t need you.” Every member is vital to the operation of the body. Every member is important. There are no big “I’s” and little “You’s.” There is only us, and we all need each other if the body is to function properly.

Preachers are usually the most visible people in any congregation. When people talk about any given church, they always talk about the preacher, whether he is good or bad. Now, some people are envious of this. They are jealous when someone brags on the preacher and give him credit for the success of the church. We need to remember that all the glory should go to God for everything that is accomplish. From a human standpoint, no one accomplishes anything by themselves. Anything worthwhile that takes place happens because the whole body was involved in the process.

When we consider the success of the church, it is often the preacher that often gets the public recognition. But, for every preacher who got patted on the back for a job well done, there were dozens who were praying for the work, and for that preacher, and they are just as much a part of the success as the man who gets the recognition.

Therefore, whether you are a preacher, (the one being seen), or a knee, (the one praying that nobody see), always remember that you are vitally important to the Lord’s work. If it weren’t for those parts of the body no one sees, the parts we do see would never have any success. We are all in the body together and we must always remember that. Also remember that God keeps perfect records and He will balance the scales one day. There will be a lot of knees, ears, feet, etc, in the body of Christ that will receive more rewards than many eyes, hands, and so on.

God organizes the body in a way that pleases Him. Find your place in the body and carry out the duties of your assignment to the best of your ability. Are you a knee? Be the best knee you can be. Are you a backbone? Be the best backbone you can be. Are you an eye, an ear, or a mouth? Be the best you you can be for the glory of God. He will bless us all when we all get where He wants us to be!

A certain man approached a pastor and told him he wanted to join the church, but he told the pastor that he did not have a lot of time to devote to serving.

He said, “I have a very busy schedule and can’t be called upon to do any teaching or cleaning in the church. I can’t really serve in any way. I can’t help with special projects or with the student ministry. All my evenings are tied up already.”

The pastor thought for a moment and then said, “I believe you’re at the wrong church. The church you’re looking for is 3 blocks down the street, on the right.”

The man left and followed the pastor’s directions. He soon came to an abandoned, boarded up church building. The church he found had been closed for years. The pastor had made his point. Every one who joins a church should have a desire to serve the Lord through that church.

What is sad is when you find a church where no one wants to do anything. In churches like that, everyone is satisfied with what they have. In churches like that no one can be counted on to do anything. Thus, nothing gets done!

I heard a story about 4 people in the church named EVERYBODY, SOMEBODY, ANYBODY and NOBODY.

There was an important job to be done and EVERYBODY was sure that SOMEBODY would do it.

ANYBODY could have done it but instead NOBODY did it.

SOMEBODY got angry about this, because it was EVERYBODY’S job.

EVERYBODY thought ANYBODY would do it, but NOBODY realized that EVERYBODY wouldn’t do it.

It ended up that EVERYBODY blamed SOMEBODY when NOBODY did what ANYBODY could have done.

Don’t let that happen here at Calvary. Find your place and be all the Lord saved you to be!

I. How The Body Originates

II. How The Body Is Organized

III. V. 25-27 HOW THE BODY OPERATES

If we all have differing functions and responsibilities in the Body of Christ, then how are we supposed to function? These verses teach us How The Body Operates when every member is in his or her place.

A. It Operates In Unity - When every member does his or her part and submits to God in doing what they were placed in the body to do, then the body of Christ will function in peace and unity. In our day, there are too many feet who want to be hands and too many ears who want to be eyes. When this happens, the body is fractured and chaos is the end result!

God’s plan for His church is that we be united as one in Jesus. 1 Corinthians 1:10; Philippians 1:27. When we are not in unity, the body of Christ suffers, 1 Corinthians 1:10. The word “divisions” in that verse is a butcher’s term which means, “to divide into pieces.” When we fail to stand together, we cause disunity within the body of Christ. When we do that, we are guilty of butchering, or dividing, the Body of Christ.

Imagine for a moment that one day you awoke to find that every part of you body had decided to try and be another part that day. You would be in a mess! It is only when each part functions in the place where God placed them that we can enjoy peace, unity and success in the work of the Lord!

I may not like the place I have been assigned to fill, but I am called on to accept that place, and function in that place, until Jesus comes for me. It is obvious from Scripture that we are not all alike, v. 28-30. Therefore, we should just try to be ourselves and grow where we are planted. Let us learn to function in the body in a manner that promotes unity and peace and success for the entire body.

B. It Operates In Unselfishness - Paul reminds us that we are part of a unified whole, and as such we each have responsibilities to the other parts. When another believer is hurting, we need to respond to that need, and be a blessing to them, Galatians 6:2.

Consider your body for a moment. You may never take the time to think of your fingers. But, just slam the car door on them and watch how the whole body gets involved in responding to their crisis. The nerves will carry the message to the brain. The brain in turn sends a message to the feet which begin to stomp the ground. The eyes will fill with tears. The mouth will hinge open in shock. The other hand will start to grapple for the door handle to open the door. The whole body responds to a crisis in one other part of the body. When one of the members gets into trouble, every other member responds to the need. The appendix and the gall bladder are other examples of body parts that are not often thought about, but they have a problem, your whole body becomes involved in their misery.

What I am saying is this, we are not just to respond to the needs of the high profile members. We are to practice mutual care that encompasses the entire body.

• What if the hands refused to give hygiene to the other members? The body would become diseased and have problems.

• What if the eyes refused to see anything? The whole body would be in the dark.

• What if the ears refused to hear? The whole body would be deaf.

• What if the heart refused to circulate blood? The whole body would die.

• What if the kidneys refused to filter the blood? The whole body would suffer.

This analogy holds true for the church. Every member is called upon to look after the need of every other member, regardless of their place in the body of Christ. This is what Paul means when he tells us to “Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.” Romans 12:15. We are not to seek a position that glorifies self, but we are to promote the good of the whole Body of Christ and thereby glorify God, Philippians 2:4.

C. It Operates In Uniqueness - This carries the thought a little further. When the Lord saved us, He did so out of different families, at different times, and in different places. We are individuals, but we have been brought together as a new thing. We have been brought together as the Body of Christ. Thus, when one member hurts, it affects the entire body. When one is exalted, the entire body should be blessed by it.

The idea is this: when every individual, component part functions as it should, the whole body operates efficiently and accomplishes what it was designed to do. However, when the individual, component parts do not function as they should, there are problems in the whole body and nothing functions as it should. Paul’s goal is to get the church to see that every member needs every other member to be in their place and doing the assigned function.

We may be individuals from varying backgrounds, but we have been brought together in the Body of Christ. Together, we are a complete body; individually, we are a small, but vital component of a very important organism, the body of Christ!

Conc: We may not possess the giftedness or the position occupied by another. We may not even understand what our gifts are. Let me encourage you today to come before the Lord and ask Him to show you what your gift, or gifts, may be.

At the very moment you received Jesus into you heart as Savior, God in heaven placed you into the body of Christ. When He did, He gave you certain gifts to be used for His glory and for the good of the entire body. But, you can’t use them until you know what they are! So come to Him and let Him teach you about your gifts.

You may be guilty of seeking some seat or position that you know you are not gifted for. Or, you may be envious of some other believer who has a more high profile calling than yours. You may need to come to the Lord and confess that you’ve been trying to be something you are not meant to be and you need to be willing to accept that place He has especially for you.

Others here may not even be saved! You may have never trusted Jesus and believed on Him as Savior and Lord. You need to come to Him and believe on Him. He will save you and place you in His body. He loves you and died for you. Come to Him today!

I Am A Church Member: I Will Be A Gifted Believer. Let’s come together as a church and ask the Lord to use us as He sees fit, in the way He sees fit. Let’s ask Him to help us use the gifts we have been given for His glory so that our church can be the best it can be; so that His body me thrive in the world.
