Summary: The Galileo Thermometer measures the temperature by the lowest floating bulb. Do we allow the lowest negative thought to distort the reality of God's plan.

THE LOWEST FLOWING BULB? I WILL LISTEN?

By Wade Martin Hughes, Sr. Kyfingers@aol.com

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE IN A PEACEKEEPER AND A PEACEMAKER?

Matthew 5 records what we call the BEATITUDES OR THE SERMON ON THE MOUNT. The seventh point Jesus makes is that GOD LOVES PEACEMAKERS. A peacemaker is a person that helps others solve a conflict. We are God called to find peaceful solutions to problems.

Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Are we friendly? AGREEABLE? Looking for the best? Are we selfish instead of focusing beyond the storms and trials? Is unity and harmony words we speak? LIFE AT BEST IS A CHALLENGE…

DO WE UNDERSTAND WHAT A PEACEKEEPER IS? DO WE KNOW A PEACEKEEPER IN THE WEST WAS A LARGE PISTOL?

MODEL 1873 was a COLT REVOLVER, single action.

Matthew 5:23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; 24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift. 25 Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.

I WILL LISTEN? LISTEN WHEN IT SEEMS TO HURT?

CONFLICT IS PART OF REAL LIFE NO MATTER WHAT LIFESTYLE YOU CHOOSE.

CONFLICT IS NEITHER GOOD NOR BAD. CONFLICT IS ALWAYS NEUTRAL.

It is how you handle conflict that will lead to destructive relationships.

This conflict could build a stronger and better commitment.

This conflict and storm could bring wisdom and hope.

What are we going to do when CONFLICT ARISES?

Will we run away and bury our head in the sand? Ignore it?

Will we blow up like a time bomb?

I WILL LISTEN? I WILL STAY CALM?

I WILL BITE MY TONGUE?

I SEE THIS CONFLICT AS A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY TO TRUST GOD!

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. 9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

GALILEO THERMOMETERS, THE LOWEST FLOATING BULB DOES THE TALKING… (Walmart)

To belittle another person is to be little…

You reproduce what you are… The negative crowd will reproduce NEGATIVITY.

I’d rather be an artist than an art critic…

It is easier to find faults than to be creative and find solutions.

I HAVE A GALILEO THERMOMETER… SEEMS THE LOWEST FLOATING BULB DOES THE TALKING?

I think that for every one fault you find you should find 10 good points of edification…

NEGATIVITY IS AN ADDICTIVE HABIT THAT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO BREAK…

NEGATIVITY IS A SELF FEEDING TRAP.

Being negative becomes a mind set or a thinking pattern… It is said it takes 21 days to break a habit.

You don’t break habits, you replace them…

Find whatsoever has virtue, is good, lovely, pure, edifying and think on these things.

Seems there were 10 negative reports to two that says let’s go right now and claim the promise.

Israel and King Saul listened to two negative reports for 40 days.

This embedded deep fear and panic attacks in the tents instead of hope and prayer.

Why listen, why accept another day of negativity?

Bury the past or it will bury you. Do we have SELECTIVE HEARING?

Hear what you desire to accept?

You can --- if you want to… the question is what do you want?

Sometimes I Cry By Gerald Crab (You can find this song on You Tube by Jason Crab)

I look the part, I blend in with the rest of the church crowd, I know the routine.

I could list all the Bible studies in town, Watch Christian TV, I know all the preachers, their cliches

I've been born again and without a doubt I know I'm saved.

But sometimes I hurt and sometimes I cry sometimes I can't get it right no matter how hard I seem to try

Sometimes I fall down, Stumble over my own disguise, I try to look strong

As the whole world looks on, but sometimes alone I cry

I try to speak faith never give that old devil, not even an inch to get in, I do worship and praise.

Let everybody know just where that I stand, on the back of my car is a fish and a cross for the world to see

I know my God is good, all of the time. Yes, there's no doubt for me

But sometimes I hurt and sometimes I cry. Sometimes I can't get it right no matter how hard I seem to try

Sometimes I fall down. Stumble over my own disguise. I try to look strong as the whole world looks on,

but sometimes alone I cry. Sometimes I fall down, Stumble over my own disguise. I try to look strong as the whole world looks on, sometimes alone I cry. I try to look strong as the whole world looks on, but sometimes alone I cry.

CONCLUSION: Together is a beautiful word. Will we come to the altar and find good Godly solutions to our conflicts? Why do we not teach in school CREATIVE USE OF CONFLICT? Conflict is part of real daily life. We are a team.

T-OGEHTER E-ACH A-COMPLISHES M-ORE--- TEAM.

MOSES WAS A GREAT LEADER BUT GOD GAVE HIM A TEAM TO HELP HIM.

MOSES HAD GREAT PARENTS: AMRAM AND JOCHEBED, they taught him about God. --- AARON was Moses’ brother, friend, and spoke’s man--- MIRIAM was Moses sister and helper. --- HIS FATHER IN LAW: JETHRO gave good sound advice--- HUR: is believed to be Moses brother in law, married to Miriam. JOSHUA: Moses follower and helper.

Exodus 17:10 So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. 11 And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. 12 But Moses' hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.

Moses had conflicts with his team… but God did a great work through meek Moses. Family and Ministry will have conflicts and differing opinions. But learn the value of team work and agreement.

Ecclesiastes 4:12 And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

The power of unity and agreement will help us conquer beyond our power alone. We cannot do much without a God team. By yourself you're weak and weary. With a friend we have someone to reason and help us get up when we are knocked down. We can make it, we can face the worst.
