Summary: Living in the trust of God is a great place to live! It’s where the peace that passes understanding flows freely and gives great comfort against the what if’s of life the accuser continually throws at all of us!

The Family of God

Matthew 24:36-39 NKJ

36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. 37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Never in our lifetimes have we witnessed, so much unrest, so much turmoil, or such an attack of spiritual warfare. And it’s all happening in real time, right before our very eyes!

Riots, looting, the burning down of people’s businesses and dreams. Along with the attempted ruination of everything, most all of society holds dear as decent, moral and good.

Just when we think we have seen it all, we turn on the news and are repeatedly horrified! Make no mistake, we have not seen it all yet, the devil is pulling out all the stops!

The Bible says no man knows the day or the hour when the Son of Man will return! This includes the accuser too!

So when we feel like the eastern sky may split open and the Rapture could happen at any moment, what do suppose satan is thinking?

Every generation has felt what we’re feeling. Chaos has been created by the accuser nonstop since the day of the devils fall from heaven!

To trust what you know or to trust what you see, is the question!

And the decision which is made between those two choices, is what either gives you sweet peace of mind despite the turmoil, or makes you worry, from worry to worry your whole life through!

TBS.(the Bible says) in Mark 6:34 NKJ

34. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Msg. Bible says it this way

“Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.

I hear you, I hear what your saying. Seems as though doubt always raises questions. But what about the “what ifs” they’ll say?

Here’s a question. What if all hell were to break loose?

All of hell has been busting at the seams in total panic, since the day Jesus shook the gates off the place and took away the keys!

God’s instructions are to focus on what Jesus has already done, what Jesus is doing now and what Jesus is going to do day after day, until God the father says to the Son “go and get my children and bring them home!”

Romans 5:3-5, 20-21 MSG

3-5 There’s more to come: We continue to shout our praise even when we’re hemmed in with troubles, because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next. In alert expectancy such as this, we’re never left feeling shortchanged. Quite the contrary—we can’t round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit!

(Both the accuser and the world, wants you to only focus on the sin in the world. The peace everyone desires isn’t found in the sin.

The peace everyone desires, is found in the one who delivered the sin defying message of Grace and has overcome all sin for us, so we could be forgiven of our sin! And His name is Jesus, the Messiah, our Saviour, our Healer, our Deliverer!)

20-21 All that passing laws against sin did was produce more lawbreakers. But sin didn’t, and doesn’t, have a chance in competition with the aggressive forgiveness we call grace. When it’s sin versus grace, grace wins hands down. All sin can do is threaten us with death, and that’s the end of it. Grace, because God is putting everything together again through the Messiah, invites us into life—a life that goes on and on and on, world without end.

Reminds of some promising words of an old hymn

Grace, grace, God’s grace,

Grace that will pardon and cleanse within

Grace, grace, God’s grace,

Grace that is greater than all our sin.

Song by, Daniel B. Towner, Julia H. Johnston

Gods Grace Jesus delivered, came on the scene and turned the spiritual world upside down!

And for all who have embraced and accepted Jesus, Gods gift of Grace. They have been turning the accusers world on its head, since the day of the arrival of Gods Grace!

So no matter how things may appear to be reported by the media, or what we see in the natural. We can find rest, along with God’s peace and assurance, God’s Grace is and will always be greater than any problem we will ever face, Amen?

Its certainly biblical, we just read it didn’t we? This truth we just read, has been available for at least 2000 years.

This truth and the Bible which contains this truth, has been published more times than any other book in the history of publishing. So this truth is public knowledge, right?

Then tell me why do so many people ignore the truth and let so much stuff get to them all the time?

Because when we worry, we make it about the capabilities of self.

We try to make it all about right living and right doing, all of the things we think we can control, all of the things we think we can do instead of simply believing and relying on the name and the power of Jesus!

The truth at all times will set you free and keep you free!

And we find the answer to worry free living, in the verses right before our text scripture!

Mark 6:31-33 MSG

30-33 “If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers—most of which are never even seen—don’t you think he’ll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you? What I’m trying to do here is to get you to relax, to not be so preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to God’s giving. People who don’t know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how he works. Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don’t worry about missing out. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met.

You see I could tell you all about my relationship with Jesus and His fabulous father, God the creator of all!

And I could tell you what he’s done for me personally and how he has blessed me immensely, more than I could’ve ever imagined or dreamed!

How Jesus daily unlocks the windows of heaven with new mercies and blessings, and continues go beyond what He has previously done for me already!

But until you establish your own relationship with Jesus and Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions, you’ll never know for yourself what God wants to do for you personally!

The answer to stress free, worry free living, is to seek Jesus all the time, in everything you do!

The great evangelist Smith Wigglesworth, who saw thousands of healings take place in his ministry once told someone the secret to his success in the ministry was to pray earnestly 15 minutes at a time. That person said, only 15 minutes at a time? And Smith replied yes only 15 minutes, but you see I try to do what I’m telling you to do, every 15 minutes.

You see he was telling him to be in constant communication with God! And to that I would ask you to questions.

How much do you want from God?

How much do you want of God?

TBS. “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you!”

If you will seek God, God will send you a Word!

One word from God is all you need!

if you will let Him, if you will give God a chance, God will show you His capabilities

Let’s be honest! We absolutely know our limitations don’t we? And no amount of effort, or worry on our part will ever increase them!

We, also on the other hand, know God’s abilities are limitless, but if we don’t believe God wants to do a work in our lives, we will never give Him the freedom to go beyond what we can believe Him for!

Our worry so to speak ties God’s hands in our lives, our Faith sets God free to do as He pleases!

Ephesians 3:20 NKJ

20. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

Exceedingly abundantly! Those are adjectives I love describing Gods willingness to give and pour into His children’s lives!

Matthew Henry said: God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. There is an inexhaustible fullness of grace and mercy in God, which the prayers of all the saints can never draw dry. Whatever we may ask, or think to ask, still God is still able to do more, abundantly more, exceedingly abundantly more. Open thy mouth ever so wide, still he hath wherewithal to fill it. Praise God!!

Whatever you’re facing today, open thy mouth proclaim God’s Promises over your life, then get out of God’s way and trust Him to meet your need?

But you don’t know the size of my need? Maybe not, but I’m well aware of how big God is! Maybe this next scripture is your word?

Proverbs 3:5-10 MSG.

5-10. Trust God from the bottom of your heart;

don’t try to figure out everything on your own.

Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go;

he’s the one who will keep you on track.

Don’t assume that you know it all.

Run to God! Run from evil!

Your body will glow with health,

your very bones will vibrate with life!

Honor God with everything you own;

give him the first and the best.

Your barns will burst,

your wine vats will brim over.

Living in the trust of God is a great place to live! It’s where the peace that passes understanding flows freely and gives great comfort against the what if’s of life the accuser continually throws at all of us!

Have any of us arrived completely? No...but the more you place in Jesus hands, the more Jesus pours back into your life and the more God takes you to new levels in your relationship and walk with Him.

Like a baby‘s progression of learning, from crawling to eventually being able to run effortlessly. God wants you to experience the same growth, in your expectations and levels of relationship you have with Him! All with out worry of what’s happening around you!

Everything is possible with Jesus first place in your life! EVERYTHING!!!

And Jesus says, if you will trust me, there is still more for you, so much more, you’ve only just begun!

When the world tells you to sit in fear, realize God wants you to trust what Jesus has done for you and to run in the pursuit of Jesus and all the blessings He has already prepared for your arrival!

If you can believe, God will take you places you’ve never dreamed of!

Jesus came, lived, died and rose again victorious and stands ready, willing and able to deliver, your best life now,

Why not make or renew your commitment of getting to know Jesus on a whole new level and take your relationship with Him, to the next step!

Realize you can be and are a friend of God and friends take pleasure in each other’s company.

They laugh together, they cry together, they talk to each other, and spend a lot of time with one another.

Proverbs 18:24 MSG

24. Friends come and friends go,

but a true friend sticks by you like family.

God has always considered you family! God not only knows your name, He knows everything about you and even then still calls you not just a friend, but family!

Still wants to be involved in every detail of your life, if you will let Him. Still wants to and will always be your everything you will ever need.
