Heal! Disabled Destiny.
Luke 13:10-17 says
10 Now he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. 11 And behold, a woman was there[i] who had a spirit that had disabled her for eighteen years, and she was bent over and not able to straighten herself up completely. 12 And when he saw her, Jesus summoned her[m] and said to her, “Woman, you are freed from your disability!” 13 And he placed his[n] hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and glorified God. 14 But the ruler of the synagogue, indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, answered and[o] said to the crowd, “There are six days on which it is necessary to work. Therefore come and[p] be healed on them, and not on the day of the Sabbath!” 15 But the Lord answered and said to him, “Hypocrites! Does not each one of you untie his ox or his[q] donkey from the feeding trough on the Sabbath and lead it[r] away to water it?[s] 16 And this woman, who is a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan bound eighteen long years—is it not necessary that she be released from this bond on the day of the Sabbath?” 17 And when he said these things, all those who opposed him were humiliated, and the whole crowd was rejoicing at all the splendid things that were being done by him.
There are two definitions of the word disability in the dictionary,
• a physical or mental condition that limits a person's movements, senses, or activities.
• The law defines disability as a disadvantage or handicap the inability to engage in any substantial gainful activity (SGA) by reason of any medically determinable physical or mental impairment(s) which can be expected to result in death, or which has lasted or can be expected to last for a continuous period of not less than 12 months.
Tonight, in our series on deliverance we look at disabled destinies. There is a saying that the graveyard is filled with truncated destinies. Destinies cut short and not allowed to come to full measure.
A disabled destiny is one afflicted with circumstances and situations that have turned into a crawl. A destiny in its right standing and trajectory is constantly moving a in a path of greatness, giving birth to new healthy prosperous situations and multiplying in fatness. Dripping with the oil of fatness
Psalm 65 tells us what an enabled destiny looks like
Praise awaits you, O God, in Zion,
and to you the vow shall be fulfilled.
2 O you who hear prayer,
to you all flesh will come.
3 Iniquities[b] prevail over me.
As for our transgressions, you will forgive[c] them.
4 Blessed is one whom you choose and bring near,
that he may abide in your courts.
We will be satisfied with the goodness of your house,
your holy temple.
5 By awesome deeds in righteousness you will answer us,
O God of our salvation,
you who are the confidence of all the ends of the earth
and of the far-off seas,
6 who established the mountains by his strength,
the one who is girded with might,
7 who stills the roar of the seas,
the roar of their waves,
and the commotion of the peoples,
8 so that[d] the inhabitants of the farthest reaches are in awe of your signs.
You make the dawn and sunset sing for joy.
9 You care for[e] the land[f] and water it;
you greatly enrich it.
The stream of God is filled with waters.
You provide their grain,
for so you have established it.
10 You drench its furrows,
penetrating its ridges.
With rains you soften it;
its growth you bless.
11 You crown the year with your bounty,[g]
and your wagon paths drip with richness.[h]
12 They drop on the pastures of the wilderness,
and the hills gird themselves with joy.
13 The pasturelands put on flocks,
and the valleys clothe themselves with grain.
They shout in triumph;
they even sing.
Psalm 65:11 says it all

When a destiny is disabled, it cannot boast of any of these things in Psalm 65.
Examples;
a. Let us look at the story in Luke 13:10-17 again. There was a woman called a daughter of Abraham, that is someone who was inside the Abrahamic covenant who was disabled and had been bent double bound by a Satanic spirit for 18 years.
b. There was also a woman with an issue of blood bleeding for 12 years
c. There was a beggar at the gate called beautiful who had been born disabled
d. There was man who had been by the pool of Bethsaida for 38 years.
e. There was a man blind from birth in John 9, blind Bartimaeus in Mark (10:46–52)
1. Disabled destinies function at only a fraction of their potential.
2. Disabled destinies seldom bring forth any fruit so whoever is experiencing it is usually in material, spiritual and financial deficit.
3. Disabled destinies rise and fall. How can you be promoted one step and then you fall back 3 steps?
4. Disabled destinies suffer truncated testimonies. The bible says in Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the LORD makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it. So, if you are being blessed but it always comes with some sorrow, be sure it needs correction with prayers, God’s Word and His empowerment.
5. Disabled destinies are evidenced by struggling so hard to achieve little.
6. Localized witchcraft is one sure way destinies are disabled. I learnt from an old Christian sage many years ago that if you are having constant failures over a period of many years, it is one of two things. You have a longstanding curse usually generational, afflicting you or there is a destiny manipulator, who is usually someone or a demonic agent so close to you physically or by daily association that they know all your personal life and business. That is why I tell people. Keep your business i.e your personal doings and information to yourself. Not everyone who is close to you is happy to see or hear you succeed. There is an old African saying that even though all lizards lie flat on their bellies, you cannot decipher which one has an upset stomach.
7. Disabled destinies are spiritual in nature, so YOU cannot try to fix it using physical methods. “Oh, let me go get the third Ph D. Let me change from engineering to nursing. Let me relocate from London to New York” Whichever path you take will not lead to success. Where others excel you will go there and experience failure.
How do you fix a disabled destiny? The way Jesus did. Acts 10:38 says, “How Jesus of Nazareth was anointed with the Holy Ghost and with Power, who went about doing good and destroying the works of the enemy because God was with Him.”
Brethren, the anointing breaks the yoke. Isaiah 10:27 DRA bible states And, it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall putrify (or be decayed/destroyed) at the presence of the oil. What oil? The oil of the anointing. The Dunamis power that comes through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Power is unleashed through prayer and fasting. Remember the disciples asked Jesus, why then could we not exorcise these demons, he looked at them and said, sone of the will not go except by prayer and fasting.
Let us pray. You can add the fasting later.
Thank God for the shed Blood of Jesus which has released the ministry of reconciliation to adjust us to all things in Christ Jesus.
After the order of the man at the beautiful gate in Acts 3, Let the legs of my disabled destiny receive strength, arise, walk and jump now in the name of Jesus
Let any bonds disabling my destiny break and scatter now in the name of Jesus.
Whatever is draining the power of my destiny dry up in the name of Jesus
Witchcraft spells and curses suppressing my destiny, break and become powererless in the name of Jesus.
Let the oil of my destiny break forth in the name of Jesus
