THE PARASITE OF UNFORGIVENESS… INFECTED (At least 2 part)

THE COWBIRD: COWBIRDS ARE KNOWN AS BULLIES… THE BROOD PARASITES…
The cowbird lays very large eggs... but the cowbird never builds its own nest. The cowbird lays its eggs in a VIREO BIRDS NEST…the Vireo birds nest are small and their eggs are small. THE COWBIRDS’ EGGS HATCH FIRST and place a huge demand on more and more food. SO THE TINY VIREO birds BABIES STARVE TO DEATH WHILE THE COWBIRDS EAT ALL THE FOOD… the little song birds are endangered where cowbirds live. The small birds raise the cowbirds young at their own expense. A parasite cannot coexist without a compliant host.
PARASITE: a creature that lives off another creature, an organism that lives in or on another organism. Something that takes and never gives back. The parasite then benefits by deriving nutrients at the host’s expense. The parasite will cause harm. Parasites work to INFLECT THE HOST. This can be small protozoa, worms, malaria, tapeworm, ring worm, leech, tick, etc. Many parasites are MICROSCOPIC AND HARD TO FIND UNTIL THE DAMAGE IS DONE.

Shimei was a Benjamite. He was related to SAUL. When SAU , JONATHAN AND SAUL’S SONS WERE ALL KILLED ON THE SAME DAY. Shimei blamed David for King’s Saul’s death. ShImei was angry and bitter. Shimei was jealous and had plans to be THE NEXT KING. AS A MATTER OF FACT SHIMEI IS GOING TO MARRY A WOMAN TO STRENGTHEN HIS CLAIM TO THE THRONE…
Along comes David’s rebellious son ABSALOM to claim David’s throne. THIS IS SHIMEI’S CHANCE TO GET RID OF DAVID… DAVID FLEES FOR HIS LIFE… While crossing the river to flee for safety there comes this man with distorted selfish views…
2 Samuel 16:5 And when king David came to Bahurim, behold, thence came out a man of the family of the house of Saul, whose name was Shimei, the son of Gera: he came forth, and cursed still as he came. 6 And he cast stones at David, and at all the servants of king David: and all the people and all the mighty men were on his right hand and on his left. 7 And thus said Shimei when he cursed, Come out, come out, thou bloody man, and thou man of Belial: 8 The LORD hath returned upon thee all the blood of the house of Saul, in whose stead thou hast reigned; and the LORD hath delivered the kingdom into the hand of Absalom thy son: and, behold, thou art taken in thy mischief, because thou art a bloody man.
DAVID’S MEN WANTED TO KILL THE PARASITE THAT SPIT AND THREW ROCKS AT DAVID…
SHIMEI WILL DIE … HE IS A PARASITE TO DAVID AND ISRAEL. SHIMEI HAD A BAD MOUTH AND BAD ATTITUDES… THE PARASITE OF BAD ATTITUDES AND A BIG MOUTH WILL CATCH UP TO HIM.
THE DEAL WAS VERY CLEAR PARASITE SHIMEI STAY IN THE CITY OF JERUSALEM AND YOU SHALL LIVE,,, STAY AT HOME BOY.

DAVID KNEW ANGER AND BITTERNESS WOULD NEVER DEFEAT A PARASITE… MAYBE GOD WILL HELP US…
2 Samuel 16:12 It may be that the LORD will look on mine affliction, and that the LORD will requite me good for his cursing this day.
DAVID IS DYING AND HE CALLS SOLOMON TO HIS DEATH BED… THERE WILL BE A THREAT TO SOLOMON’S REIGN…
REMEMBER THAT LEECH, THAT PARASITE TO THE THRONE… WARN THE PARASITE.
1 Kings 2:8 And, behold, thou hast with thee Shimei the son of Gera, a Benjamite of Bahurim, which cursed me with a grievous curse in the day when I went to Mahanaim: but he came down to meet me at Jordan, and I sware to him by the LORD, saying, I will not put thee to death with the sword.
DAVID WARNED SOLOMON… THE LEECH PARASITE WILL CLEARLY REVEAL HIMSELF AS A THREAT…
1 Kings 2:36 And the king sent and called for Shimei, and said unto him, Build thee an house in Jerusalem, and dwell there, and go not forth thence any whither. 37 For it shall be, that on the day thou goest out, and passest over the brook Kidron, thou shalt know for certain that thou shalt surely die: thy blood shall be upon thine own head. 38 And Shimei said unto the king, The saying is good: as my lord the king hath said, so will thy servant do. And Shimei dwelt in Jerusalem many days.
THE PARASITE WILL SHOW HIS TRUE NATURE… HE WAS WARNED…
1 Kings 2:39 And it came to pass at the end of three years, that two of the servants of Shimei ran away unto Achish son of Maachah king of Gath. And they told Shimei, saying, Behold, thy servants be in Gath. 40 And Shimei arose, and saddled his ass, and went to Gath to Achish to seek his servants: and Shimei went, and brought his servants from Gath.
SOONER OR LATER THE PARASITE WILL REVEAL HIMSELF…
1 Kings 2:43 Why then hast thou not kept the oath of the LORD, and the commandment that I have charged thee with?
44 The king said moreover to Shimei, Thou knowest all the wickedness which thine heart is privy to, that thou didst to David my father: therefore the LORD shall return thy wickedness upon thine own head;
SPIRITUAL PARASITES suck the very life and strength out of you to satisfy demonic needs. They never come to you to help you. Their mission is to STEAL, KILL AND DESTROY. These parasites come to detract, extract and DISTRACT you from keeping your focus and priorities away from God. Spiritual parasites will burden, worry, lead you to self-centeredness.
IT BECOMES VERY EASY TO ALLOW SPIRITUAL PARASITES TO RULE THE NEST AND CRIPPLE YOU.
A SMART PARASITE DOES NOT TAKE ENOUGH TO KILL THE HOST JUST STEAL THE VICTORY!
THE GREATER PART OF CRITICS ARE PARASITES. Critics and judgers are almost always parasites.
Matthew 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
UNFORGIVENESS IS A SIN! UNFORGIVENESS, RESENTMENTS, GRUDGES ARE SPIRITUAL PARASITES THAT CRIPPLE, DISTORT AND BREED VICTIMHOOD… These parasites take the life giving nutrients out of your blood and they make you weak, helpless, hopeless. Parasites separate you from your joy, peace and hope.

Parasites grow out of BEING ANXIOUS, WORRY, FEAR.

THE PARASITE OF POISON TONGUES… PEOPLE WITH BITTER MINDS ARE POISONOUS PARASITES. Their TONGUE IS FILLED WITH POISON…
James 3:7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: 8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
SPIRITUAL LEECHES: Leeches subtract and take away and give nothing. Swampy rivers tend to grow leeches. Normally one cannot feel a leech attaching to your leg or your arms… Leeches suck the very passion of life and energy from the blood. Spiritual leeches steal your joy, your peace, your hope, your strength to bring hopelessness, despair, agony, gloom and depression.
In your weakness will grow distortion. Distortion grows problems and obstacles. Then grows defeat.
YOU KNOW HOW TO REMOVE A LEECH? You light a match to its tail and it will back out. The same light works with spiritual leeches: be positive, full of joy and stay healthy and focused. Laugh a lot.
Conclusion: LIGHT A CANDLE TO SEE… Could you be parasitic at times? We need the light to expose the parasites that can grow and take our lives. Parasites can be a slow gradual growth of death.
