FLAPPING? GOD SAYS RELAX, … HAVE FAITH IN THE SEED?

Luke 18:8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
Where is room to doubt God and self-doubt? We serve an ON-TIME GOD. God has had a plan of redemption from the foundation of this world… GOD IS LOOKING FOR FAITH IN HIS PEOPLE… PERSISTENT FAITH. Never doubt that God is in control and he will carry out his plan… Be assured and trust that God will not drag his feet. How much of that kind of persistent faith will the Son of Man find on the earth when he returns?
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, But that all should come to repentance.
THERE IS A CHINESE TALE ABOUT AN OLD KING THAT HAD A DAUGHTER BUT NO SONS TO BE HIS HEIR TO THE THRONE.
THERE ARE SOME DIVINE LAWS: Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
This mighty king invites all the young men from his kingdom to gather at the gate of the castle. The King has a challenge to all that would like to be the next king to come to accept the challenge of competition. All the young men gather around the around the castle. They were expecting for a battle tournament. Where the men would fight and the winner takes all. The king and his beautiful daughter stand high upon the wall of the castle. There the King did not call the men to fight. The King announces the challenge… THE KING GIVES EVERY POTENTIAL MAN ONE SEED… The order was simple. ONE YEAR FROM TODAY WE SHALL GATHER TOGETHER IN FRONT OF THE PALACE AND THE KING WILL EVALUATE WHAT EACH PERSON GREW. So all the young men went home with their seed and planted it and cared for the growth to come.
There was a handsome smart young boy named Jack. He took his seed back to the farm. He, his dad and his mom took great care of his seed. They plowed and tilled the soil. They tried everything. They planted the seed in the richest soil on the farm. They tried compost, manure, sunlight and shade. They kept the soil soft and broken. They loved that seed. They tried talking and singing to the seed. WEEK AFTER WEEK, THERE WAS NOTHING, NO GROWTH. One month? Two months? Nothing! They prayed over the ground… 10 months, 11 months… still nothing. Finally the day rolled around to meet back in front of the castle. JACK HAD NOTHING BUT A POT OF SOIL. Nothing had worked. All of their love and care for that seed and there was no growth.
The other young men had all kinds of beautiful plants. Some were several feet tall. Some had grown beautiful colored flowers. Others had grown very long green vines. As the King’s beautiful daughter stood upon the wall she wondered which one will be my husband and be the next king?
The king started walking and looking at all the potted plants. The king and his guards observed all the beautiful plants that had grown. It was clear JACK HAD NO CHANCE WITH HIS EMPTY POT OF DIRT.
The yearlong competition would soon be over. WHO IS GOING TO WIN? The king was amazed at the growth of all the plants. All of the other young men laughed and mocked Jack’s empty pot. The king and his advisers go into the palace to discuss who would serve and marry the king’s daughter. WHEN THE KING CAME BY JACK… JACK BOWED AND APOLOGIZED TO THE KING THAT HE HAD SO DISAPPOINTED HIS KING BY HIS FAILURE. The king returns to the stage high upon the wall to make the announcement who would be the new king.
The king made a speech about honesty, integrity, courage and wisdom. The king then announced that they had boiled every seed that it would be impossible for there to be any life and the seed could never germinate and grow. All the competitors had cheated. ONLY JACK STOOD BEFORE THE KING WITH AN EMPTY POT.
SEEDS OF NON-PROFIT: WHAT DOES THE SEEDS OF WORRY GROW? REMEMBER THE OLD ROCKING CHAIR? YOU ROCK AND NEVER MOVE? SOMETIMES THE SEED FAITH MUST BE STILL AND KNOW… THE SEED OF ABSOLUTE TRUST… GOD SAYS: RELAX MY CHILD I HAVE GOT THIS…
Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
We get caught up in the busy, running here and running there bustle of menial daily life that we lose our sense of priorities. We tend to get caught up in the fast lane of the traffic! There are times we must stop and focus on the cross. We need to pause and take a long, loving look at Jesus. The church is in terrible need when we search for entertainment values, we worship worship and praise praise until we lose sight of the goals before us. We must not get caught up in politics, medical debates, etc. PREACH THE WORD… BE INSTANT IN AND OUT OF SEASON… Stop trying to control and manipulate your circumstances. WHY WORRY… FIND CONTENTMENT BE STILL… The rainbow normal appearance is after the storm. WE MUST FIND THE SEED OF BEING STILL AND TRUSTING…
THE SEEDS OF WAITING… ISAIAH TEACHES US ABOUT THE SEEDS OF WAITING.
MOST BIRDS FLY BY DOWNSTROKES AND UP STROKES. Humming birds stroke their wings forward and backward. Hummingbirds can fly between 30 and 45 mph. THE HUMMINGBIRD’S WINGS BEAT AT ABOUT 10 TO 15 TIMES A SECOND TO 83 TIMES A SECOND… THEIR AVERAGE WING BEATS 53 TIMES A SECOND OR 3,180 BEATS A MINUTE... THIS IS EXHAUSTING…
Isaiah 40:29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
ISAIAH HAS A SEED LESSON ABOUT WAITING. THE EAGLE HAS A WING SPAN OF 8 TO 10 FEET. THE EAGLE CAN FOCUS 10 TIMES AS FAR IN THE DISTANCE AS A HUMAN CAN. EAGLES HAVE RAZOR BLADE SHARP BEAKS TO CRUSH AND TEAR THEIR FOOD. THEY HAVE STRONG SHARP TALONS… EAGLES HAVE A GREATER LESSON THAN THAT… THE SEED FAITH OF WAITING…
Eagles fly high, but eagles do not fly as other birds do. Most birds fly by flapping their wings. NOT THE EAGLE. EAGLES CANNOT FLAP THEIR WINGS A LONG TIME. THE EAGLE’S BODY IS BUILT TO SOAR… THEY RIDE THE WIND. The earth is filled with invisible columns of HOT AIR CALLED THERMALS. The eagle will ride the THERMALS WITH THEIR OUTSTRETCHED WINGS. They ascend higher and higher TRUST THE THERMALS TO GREAT HEIGHTS. An eagle has been known to fly above 14,000 feet, which is about 3 miles high. They can fly for miles without expending little to no energy.
SO WHAT IS THE SEED THOUGHT THAT ISAIAH IS TRYING TO TEACH US?
Holy Spirit reveal to us this lesson… GOD PROVIDES TO US AN INVISIBLE SUPPORT TO LIFT US HIGH ABOVE THE TRIALS AND STORMS OF DAILY LIFE. THERE IS AN UNSEEN HAND TO UNDERGIRD US… GOD PROMISED HIS PEOPLE IF WE WOULD SIMPLY TRUST HIS PLAN AND SPREAD OUR WINGS OF FAITH --- WE DO NOT HAVE TO GROW WEARY --- WE CAN WALK, WE CAN RUN AND WE CAN SOAR… IF!!!
There is a V-I-C-T-O-R-Y for those that will just quit FLAPPING and START TRUSTING the Divine Plan of Jesus Christ.
THE SEED OF FLAPPING WILL LIMIT THE V-I-C-T-O-R-Y… BEWARE OF THE FLAP OF WORRY?
WHY ALL THE FLAPPING? WHY ALL THE FUSSING? What is a Christian life all about? Worry 24-7 if you so desire but WORRY IS A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME… Planting seeds of worry will always make BITTER JAMS. Worry never grows sweet fruit. Worry never changes anything to a positive conclusion. WORRY changes life to steal your peace, joy and hope.
Matthew 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
I HAVE ASKED MANY TIMES TELL ME 10 BENEFITS OF WORRY? Why do we fret and worry? There is a better plan than worrying. Why worry when we can pray and trust? Prayer and praises will turn your worries into v-i-c-y-o-r-y. God will hear us. Everything will come together for good just settle down… SEEDSOF FAITH.
THE SEEDS OF WORDS MIGHT BE FORGIVEN BUT THEY CAN NEVER BE FORGOTTEN….
Listen, could it be possible every person carries two bags with them. One bag they carry is in the front of them and one is in the back. Both bags are very full. The bags carry failures, faults, troubles and trials. The bag in the front holds the faults of other people. The bag on the back is full of one’s own personal faults. Seems we can see the faults of others very easy for they are before your eyes. The sad part is people tend to not see their own faults… just the faults of others. The heavy load on your back can bring much long term problems?
TODAY IS A SEED IN YOUR HAND, IT IS A GIFT OF GOD… WHAT YOU DO WITH THE SEED CAN BE A GIFT TO GOD!
THIS COULD BE THE BEST DAY OF YOUR LIFE. THIS COULD BE A DAY FULL OF JOY AND HAPPINESS… IT ALL DEPENDS ON YOUR CHOICES… ABILITY is THE SEED of what you are capable of doing. MOTIVATION is THE SEED THAT determines what you will do. ATTITUDE is THE SEED of how you will determine how well you will do it. SO WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO WITH THE SEED OF TODAY?
1 Corinthians 14:38 But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant.
Did you hear about the big argument between the donkey and the tiger? The donkey said the GRASS WAS BLUE… not so said the tiger. You know good and well the GRASS IS GREEN. The donkey raised his voice and screamed: THE GRASS IS BLUE. The two debated for several hours and neither one could convince the other as they both thought they were right.
So the tiger and the donkey agreed to binding arbitration and appealed their case to the THRONE OF THE KING OF THE JUNGLE. The LION listened to the case. The donkey made his appeal that GRASS IS BLUE. The tiger stated his case that the GRASS IS GREEN. After hearing both sides the King Lion said: IF YOU REALLY BELIEVE IT IS TRUE THAT THE GRASS IS BLUE… The DONKEY steps forward and says the GRASS IS BLUE and that TIGER is so stupid and he annoys me with such stupidity. The LION DECIDED TO PUNISH THAT TIGER.
After hearing the case the King says: TIGER YOU SHALL BE PUNISHED WITH 3 DAYS OF SILENCE. The donkey was so happy he said: THE GRASS IS BLUE, THE GRASS IS BLUE…
The tiger appeals the 3 day punishment to the Lion. The tiger says to the lion you know the grass is green and not blue. THEN THE LION KING EXPLAINED THE SENTENCE OF 3 DAYS OF SILENCE. 1. YOU ARE SMART. 2. YOU KNOW THE GRASS IS GREEN. 3. YOU WASTED YOUR TIME ARGUING PURE STUPIDITY. 4. TIGER YOU BOTHER THE KING TAKING HIS TIME TO TRY AND VALIDATE THE REAL TRUTH. 5. WHY DO YOU ARGUE WITH A FOOL? YOU ALREADY KNEW HIS STUPIDITY THAT THE GRASS WAS BLUE.
THE KING THEN SAID: WHY WASTE YOUR TIME AND MY TIME DISCUSSING AND ARGUING THINGS THAT MAKE NO SENSE. Seems some don’t care about the reality of the truth. No matter what evidence the ignorant report they will still believe their invalid points. TIME IS PRECIOUS, NEVER WASTE TIME FUSSING ABOUT STUFF THAT MAKES NO SENSE.
A WISE PERSON ALREADY KNOWS AND A FOOL WILL NEVER LEARN. Many are so blind they refuse to see the truth. Many are driven by past scars, hatred, bitterness, resentment and their own personal opinions that ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS I AM RIGHT AND YOU ARE WRONG.
IGNORANCE HOLLERS AND SCREAMS TO THE TOP OF THEIR VOICE. JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE THE LOUDEST DOES NOT MAKE YOU RIGHT. THE QUIETER YOU BECOME THE MORE YOU CAN HEAR…
THE SEEDS OF TIME… WE NEED TO MAKE THE CHOICE TO ENJOY TODAY. REMEMBER THE SEEDS OF TIME ARE KIND OF LIKE THE WATER IN A RIVER… You cannot touch the same water twice. The current will flow so that the water that has passed will never pass the same way again.
CONCLUSION:
WHAT KIND OF SEEDS SHALL WE PLANT IN OUR PERSONAL GARDEN?

*Peace of mind. *Peace of heart. * Peace of soul.

*Squash indifference and apathy. * Squash hatred and bitterness. *Squash unkindness, meanest and bullying.
*3 rows of LETTUCE:
* Let us be kind. *Let us be compassionate with passion. *Let us LOVE ONE ANOTHER and read our Bible
IF WE WILL BREAK UP THE FALLOW SOIL THEN PLANT THESE SEEDS AND WAIT PATIENTLY, FERTILIZE, CUT DOWN THE WEEDS, WATER AND CULTIVATE WITH COMPASSION AND LOVE WE CAN EXPECT A GOOD HARVEST.
