Summary: God is the source of everything. He satisfies the parched desert with rain and is able to bring water out a rock. He supplies all our needs. There is no barrenness in God.

TEXT: JOB 38:25-27 (NLT).

"Who created a channel for the torrents of rain? Who laid out the path for the lightning?Who makes the rain fall on barren land, in a desert where no one lives? Who sends rain to satisfy the parched ground and make the tender grass spring up?"

GOD, THE SOURCE

Who makes rain to fall on barren land? GOD.

Who sends rain to satisfy the parched ground?

GOD.

Who makes the tender grass spring up?

GOD.

"The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein" (Psalms 24:1).

God is the source of all things. We need to constantly remember that without God, we are nothing. Our life is in God's hand. Man cannot live beyond his last breath as we are reminded in Job 12:10, "In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind."

He is the father of rain and when he commands, rain falls on barren lands. He satisfies the parched desert with rain and makes tender grass spring up. There is no barrenness in God.

SHOWERS OF RAIN ON BARREN LAND

Are people calling you barren? Are men saying you will never be fruitful? Are people mocking you because you have nothing to show for years of labour? Have people forgotten you in the land of barrenness? Be glad and rejoice, God is sending abundance of rain your way today in Jesus name. Heaven's rain will fall on your barren land in Jesus name. Where nothing use to grow or prosper, the Lord will cause the showers of heaven to fall and cause your dryness to drink of God's grace and mercy. You will begin to overflow and prosper in Jesus name.

"There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren in thy land:..." (Exo 23:26). You will not be called barren in Jesus name. You will give birth to children in Jesus name. Psalms 113:19 says concerning you: "He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD." Hallelujah!

SAY NO TO BARRENNESS

"And the men of the city said unto Elisha, Behold, I pray thee, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my Lord seeth: but the water is naught, and the ground barren" (2 Kings 2:19). In the name above all other names, your ground will not be barren. God will send rain to water your barren land and cause your ground to prosper in Jesus name. The Lord will heal your land and sweeten your water with heavenly salt in Jesus name (2 Kings 2:21). Say no to barrenness and yes to fruitfulness. The Lord that remembered Mephibosheth in barren Lodebar, will remember you. He will cause his favour to locate you. His grace will lift you out of the wilderness of life in Jesus name. He will satisfy your thirst for success and cause you to spring forth in the glory of his majesty in Jesus name.

As you sow you time, money, talent and prayer in God's work, he will bless your seed and cause it to multiply hundreds of folds. The dew of heaven will fall on you. You will wax great and move forward and grew until you become very great in Jesus name (Gen 26:12-13).

There shall be showers of blessing in your life, family, marriage, business and ministry in Jesus name.

PRAYER:

Father, cause your rain to fall on my barren land. Heal my water and land, let there be abundance of rain and dew upon my life in Jesus name.

CONFESSION:

I am not barren, I am a fruitful fountain flowing with grace.

God bless you. Shalom.
