Summary: Some opportunities will not be presented for the second time in our lives, so is this opportunity when the lord speak to us might not be repeated again, so I encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity

Revelations 3:6 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”’

Matthew 6:14 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

I’m sorry for this bad news, it’s not mine…I’m not displaying it, I’m not offering it, I’m not suggesting it, and I’m not claiming its mine…it’s the word of God spoken by our Lord and savior Jesus.

Let’s read another story Luke7:36 Then one of the Pharisees asked Him to eat with him. And He went to the Pharisee’s house and sat down to eat. 37 And behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at the table in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil, 38 and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil.39 Now when the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he spoke to himself, saying, “This Man, if He were a prophet, would know who and what manner of woman this is who is touching Him, for she is a sinner.” 40 And Jesus answered and said to him, “Simon, I have something to say to you. ”So he said, “Teacher, say it.”41 “There was a certain creditor who had two debtors. One owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. 42 And when they had nothing with which to repay, he freely forgave them both. Tell Me, therefore, which of them will love him more?” 43 Simon answered and said, “I suppose the one whom he forgave more.”

And He said to him, “You have rightly judged.” 44 Then He turned to the woman and said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave Me no water for My feet, but she has washed My feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head.45 You gave Me no kiss, but this woman has not ceased to kiss My feet since the time I came in. 46 You did not anoint My head with oil, but this woman has anointed My feet with fragrant oil. 47 Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.” 48 Then He said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” 49 And those who sat at the table with Him began to say to themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?” 50 Then He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.”

Pray…. Father we thank you for tonight, it’s written that “the love of Christ compels us”, I pray that no one will be excluded from this love tonight.

We ask that you send your word to the thirsty land, break all chains, save us, and deliver us from the persecutors. Have mercy on us from the coming evil days, keep us in your name, come and break through every heart and soul as we are expecting your presence. Speak to us in your name we pray. Amen

When you are a good citizen this can mean many different things to different people.

One thing that is clear, however, is that being a good citizen means more than routine recitation of a pledge of allegiance and saluting the flag!

? To truly be a good citizen means to follow the laws of the country,

? Another sign of a good citizen has historically been one who exercises his right to vote,

? There is perhaps no better sign of being a good citizen than the willingness to express opposition from the majority opinion (respect freedom of speech),

? Helping Out. You can help out in almost any way this could involve helping out other people whether it be because someone is in trouble physically and financially.

Every country has rules and laws, without rules and laws there is no authority and there is no peace. Even when there is a dictatorship in that country, this will provide security.

These rules and laws are to protect other citizens from others, if you speed in an 80km zone you will be fined,

Why are all these laws? Because we want to protect our citizens.

All people respect these laws for many reasons; some have this sense to do so, but others because of Fear from the authority, and fear of punishment in form of fines or imprisonment. Any government can emend and alter these laws for whatever reasons. The UN can look into a problem raised by Australia and New Zealand if we don’t like how we get the first sun before other nations…then amend the rules!

Now, God has a country or a kingdom (called: the kingdom of God) and you are the citizen of this kingdom…this kingdom has rules, laws, and constitution (which is the bible) that will not and cannot be amended, transform, reform, change, modify, adjust, edit, reorganise, refashion or altered for whatever reason!

This kingdom has a king and it’s not elected, you can’t vote for him or step him down… John1:1 in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

One of the laws of God is the law of sawing and the reaping; this is unchangeable or unmovable whether was good or bad. Impossible to be amended, the apple seed gives you apples, a seed of an orange gives you orange. This is one of the rules of the kingdom of God.

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” When we don’t know of these laws, and don’t keep them we will justify it to suit our ways of life, he is a God of mercy… we break his laws and he will pardon us this is a done deal, he is merciful to all my sins and law breaking!

No, that’s not true…people deceived you with this untruthful doctrine. God is merciful (his mercy endurance forever), but he is a Just God also…he honors and respects his laws and will not alter it for whatever reason.

Adam…Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth. Gen 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”

The serpent said to the woman, “Has God “the lawmaker” indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?” Ecclesiastes 4:8 Where the word of a king is, there is power; and who may say to him, “What are you doing?”

The serpent doubts the lawmaker and its law; this is an invitation to break the law and be a bad citizen.

When we say to people…God said be holy, who told you that they reply? That person doesn’t know the bible, if they do, they would also tell you that by grace we are saved…God is forever merciful and he is slow to anger… this is an invitation to break the law and be a bad citizen.

When eve ate from that fruit she gave Adam to eat, the bible said: Gen 3:7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.

They were naked but didn’t know it when they disobeyed the law they were both punished. God is merciful but also just. 8 And they heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden.9 Then the LORD God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?”10 So he said, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.”

22 Also for Adam and his wife the LORD God made tunics of skin and clothed them. There was a sacrifice of blood on their behalf, you will not die for your sin but I have found another one to die for you, I will cover you with that blood because Hebrews 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

But get out of the garden! Gen 3:22 Then the LORD God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”— 23 therefore the LORD God sent him out of the garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken. 24 So He drove out the man; and He placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.

Where is your mercy lord? Why not worn him first?

No can do because his laws are like him…cannot be changed. His laws are part of him and his character.

Someone must pay for the punishment if the law is broken. Man kept breaking the law and they brought a sacrifice until God made a perfect sacrifice through the lord Jesus, Rom 1:18 for the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness.

God cannot withdraw his anger without punishment; there must be a death.

God has prepared a holy and perfect sacrifice, which is Jesus, and Jesus is standing in the courtroom defending you, saying “ I will take his punishment, I will die for him, set him free and send him free.

? Did God change the wages of death, When Jesus went to the cross?

? Did God announce a new law that I might have missed?

Absolutely not, because before and after Jesus went to the cross, the wages of sin is death and it has not changed… Why did Jesus change you, cleans you, took your shame and saved you?

Why did he give you a brand-new life, filled you with his holy spirit?

So you should be Holy without blame before him in love, Hebrews 9:14 how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Jesus said 3 times Father, if you willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless, not my will, but thine, be done. What cup, the cup of the anger of God against the sin.

The laws of God cannot be amended, transform, reform, change, modify, adjust, edit, reorganise, refashion, or altered for whatever reason!

My message to you is this, respect and honour the laws and rules of God.

The lord answered the disciples request when they asked him…teach us how to pray. He taught them the Lord’s Prayer…do you agree? “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

God will not forgive my sins; if there is one man on this world I didn’t forgive first. You want to tell me he is merciful; he is slow to anger, he is compassionate, his grace is sufficient he is good and he is love…this will not change the laws of his kingdom.

This is the only thing Jesus commented on in the Lord’s Prayer…didn’t comment on the daily bread, or yours is the kingdom…

There are 2 kinds of forgiveness, Godly forgiveness, and human’s forgiveness. The Godly forgiveness according to His law is 1John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. This hangs on Human’s forgiveness which is in Matthew 7:12 Therefore, whatever you want people to do for you, do the same for them, because this summarizes the Law and the Prophets."

Who forgives first you or God? If you don’t forgive men their trespasses, I can’t give you my forgiveness. But you are the ancient of Days…lord of lords and king of kings…there is nothing impossible to you!

I can’t help you with this one, not this one…this is my law I will not and cannot change it for whatever reason, not for you not for him not for the angels not for Adam, Mosses, Noah, Abraham or anyone…

I am who I am and this is my name, this is my law and if you keep it and respect it, then you shall live.

WHY IS FORGIVENESS HARD, WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH US FORGIVING OTHERS?

1. Because I myself have not truly experienced the forgiveness of God yet.

I have the lack of knowledge of the meaning and the cost involved for him to forgive me, I don’t understand the fullness of his mercy on me, the fullness of his love for me, the fullness of his sacrifice for me.

Every moment of my life I commit sin weather in the flesh, in my tongue, in my thought, through my eyes or any other means. Psalm 19:12 who can understand his errors? Cleanse me from secret faults. 13Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins; Let them not have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless, and I shall be innocent of great transgression.

When you repent to the lord and come back to him, he will accept you with your baggage, filth, and package…then he says: I have forgiven you all your trespasses and sins…Luke7:47 Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.”

It’s like I have a small debt of 1billion dollars, and I’m in prison for the rest of life… someone rich comes to me and said, look I can pay for you and set you free from this prison…all you have to do is ask. When you get set free from this size of debt, you will understand, realize and comprehend the second chance that was given to you better than a person who was in debt only a 100 dollars…

Sometimes I don’t feel, sense, and appreciate the magnitude of the forgiveness of God for me…because if you do, forgiveness will be easy…Phil2:5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

I owe Jesus my life, because he saved my life, so when he asks for my life any time…what should my answer be? Yes lord, because it’s not mine anymore. But what do we see is the opposite, my dignity, my pride, my comfort, my house, my time, my money and my……………………

Let me ask you a question, does the dead have any rights? Is it his right to eat, drink, put on clothes, take a bus, vote, get center link benefits, get insurance! NO.

We are dead in sins and trespasses, Jesus gave us a new life "Yes, God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son. God gave his Son so that every person that believes in him would not be lost, but have life forever."

2Cor 5:15 and He died for all that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.

The woman caught with adultery in John 8, the scribes and Pharisees brought her to Him… 4 they said to Him, “Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act. 5 Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?”

7 So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.9 Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10 When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?” 11 She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”

Enjoy the forgiveness of God, rejoice and be glad that he has given unto you his forgiveness, freely he gave it all for us so lets give it back to others freely too.

There is a heavenly father, that loves you and says your sins are forgiven, go and sin no more!

2. Because I’m hurt, offended, insulted and wounded and that has made a big scar on me.

When you ask people in pain to forgive, they can’t… because that means you will let go of revenge, retaliation, pay the price for what they’ve done, payback an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.

But if you do forgive, you are setting those who hurt you free, you are releasing their debts and they don’t have to payback anything.

Many successful people that live today have part of their lives destroyed, ruined, shattered, broken, and damaged. Some people live in fear, terror, anxiety, worry, unease, shock, panic, and distress because people have offended them by one way or another…but the question is, who can repair this damage in their life? Who can fix what’s been broken? Who can rebuild the ruins? Who can give you back your peace? Only Jesus….

The problem is that people who got hurt, want the one that hurt them to come back and apologies and fix their lives that were damaged, or pay the price for that damage, thinking that when they pay that price will bring healing and peace for me.

When someone hurt you, it’s like they have stabbed you with a knife but you insist that they come and pull it out as your bleeding! That’s exactly what’s happening.

What’s happened in your life from all the hurts will not be fixed or returned to you by any means shape or form… but our Lord Jesus is stretching his arm and is telling you forgive it’s for your own good, it will bring healing, deliverance, peace, and joy for you.

3. Because I want justice before mercy.

We are interested in what are you going to do to punish him, more than the mercy. If you are in a court and the judge said to your enemy go and apologies…you would want to kill that judge.

We get cut when the people that hurt us getting promoted and blessed right in front of us! But when there is a bad news on them, we rejoice and say: see I told you, that’s going to happen to anyone that hurts me, they deserve it, serves them right, you reap what you saw, now I can breathe, etc.

Do you prefer God to deal with you, in His justice or mercy?

If he deals with you in justice, he will have no time to have mercy on you…because you will perish. He deals with us by his mercy, which is built on justice…

His mercy endures forever.

Matthew 18:21 Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” 22 Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven. 23 Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. 24 And when he had begun to settle accounts, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents. 25 But as he was not able to pay, his master commanded that he be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and that payment be made. 26 The servant therefore fell down before him, saying, ‘Master, have patience with me, and I will pay you all.’ 27 Then the master of that servant was moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt.

28 “But that servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii; and he laid hands on him and took him by the throat, saying, ‘Pay me what you owe!’ 29 So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay you all.’ 30 And he would not, but went and threw him into prison till he should pay the debt. 31 So when his fellow servants saw what had been done, they were very grieved, and came and told their master all that had been done. 32 Then his master, after he had called him, said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me. 33 Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?’ 34 And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him.

Many problems you have are streamed by bitterness, and un-forgiveness, these torturers are being released through your action and they are inflecting pain in your bones, breath and blood, this can kill you and stop your heart from functioning… an eagle carries a small snake

The nightmares, insomnia, hallucinations, illusions, head pains, restlessness, sleepless nights, worries, heaviness, hatred, fear, envy, un-forgiveness, fainting, gossip, loneliness, crippling, arthritis, stiffness, swellings, gluttony, diabetes, anxiety, doubts, wickedness, hopelessness …etc. Are all the works of these torturers inside called demons, they must come out? It will stop the mercy of God from functioning in your life too.

When there is a small cut on your arm and its dry, you will attract the flies to come in and feed from your wound…satin’s name is Beelzebub which means lord of flies…it eats from your wounds and sucks your blood from that area that’s inflected and cut… and then contaminates your skin and blood. So what you really need is not to stop the flies from feeding from your wound but to cleanse and purify your wounds…this will stop them from coming back to your wounds.

4. Freedom of choice,

When God made man, he gave them all things including freedom to worship him. That’s why God is love.

Love is a relationship build on the lover choses to love his partner freely. God is love because he gave man choice and a will. You are made in God’s image that’s free to take and give love; you have been given God’s nature.

Those who hurt you do that according to their will, why didn’t God stop them? Because if he takes from them the freedom of choice… then he will take it from me too.

It’s your choice when you hurt somebody, you have choice when you worship God. Where was God when this happen to me? He is, he was and is to come…but it’s our choices that determine where we go or end up. Some think that God should be responsible for what goes in this world, don’t be ignorant that this world is placed in evil.

He is responsible to fix our mistakes, heal us, deliver us, restore us, redeem us, rebuild us, sustain us, provide to us, and give us freedom of choice etc.

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Why is he knocking? He can force himself in…freedom of choice.

5. There is something built in us, says I have the right to avenge.

For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction (newton’s physics’ third law).

• This avenge is popular in marriages,

You will not see my face again, watch what I’m going to do, don’t wake up the monster, you don’t know what I’m capable of, I forgive you BUT...

• Popular with our children,

When they upset us, we don’t speak to them so we can teach them manners! But I’m showing him he is rejected; he is made in God’s image and should never make any mistakes, and by doing this you give no mercy and grace…I’m punishing you now but I still love you, for the mistakes you did…. all because of that feeling of revenge inside of you. Rom 12:19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.

And Jesus said in Matt 5:43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbour and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so? 48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

These are the laws of God; people that hurt you the most… are those who are close to you. Jesus wants you to get out of here healed and totally freed.

Matthew 7:24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock…

My life was fine until I knew Jesus! I was doing what pleased me and what pleased others, I was in sin but wasn’t aware of it, I had an easy life, my relationship with my family was good until Jesus came in, I had never been persecuted or bullied until I knew Jesus…my trouble started the day I invited Jesus into my life, Its hard building on the rock. But I will do it all over again if I can; I will go through pain, persecution, and trouble for His name’s sake.

Jesus is calling you and me for a holy life, but most of us don’t live according to his calling we fall short, we live in this peaceful and free country Australia where there is abundance of everything, even sin…the highest divorce rate is found in our country, alcohol abuse, drug abuse, child and woman abuse is at its peak, because God is disappearing gradually from our schools, laws, houses, family and churches…Jesus is knocking to get in! Open your door, he knows what you need and how to heal you.
