Summary: Romans 10:4 "4For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth."

I've made quite a number of repetitions here please bare with me, trying to drive what I'm saying home. The "*" highlight the points I want to emphasise. Every believer wants to live in total obedience to God and His instructions and commandments, we want the fruits of righteousness to be displayed in our lives, we want to live holy and in Intimacy with God but we sometimes go about it the wrong way and find ourselves "doing" instead of yielding to His power in us so that we can authentically "be" and let it naturally manifest in us.

We already are the righteousness of God in Christ but His righteousness in us has to be revealed. It's not enough to have the title there has to be a manifestation. Jesus Is The Righteousness in us, Christ in us the hope of glory, so only He can "do" works of righteousness. We "do" by believing in our Righteousness Jesus and He by His power manifests acts of righteousness. It's by His power that we consistently manifest fruits of righteousness, that we bear fruit and fruit that lasts. We get excited when we read about giving, loving God and people and think because we are born again we can go out and love and give faithfully, but then we fall short when someone makes us angry and the love that we thought we would go out and express isn't manifested in that moment and disappointment follows sometimes followed by doubt and unbelief of scripture.

Jesus made it clear without Him we can do absolutely nothing that's worth doing. It's by believing in Him that His power to "do" is manifested in us. We yield to His Love inside us through close and personal relationship with Him and His Love flows out of us as rivers of living water. When we believe and confess Jesus The Word we see His righteousness revealed in us and we will "know Him" like scripture says. It's the righteousness of faith, the righteousness that's revealed by believing He is Who He says He is. The Lord throughout The Old Testament told the Israelites to hear His Voice and DO His commandments but they always missed it because they didn't have it themselves to consistently *do* and with the absolute effectiveness God required of them so they backslid time and time again. It's only by Jesus that we consistently "do" because it's only by His power that anything gets done Jesus said "but for Me you can *do* nothing." The righteousness of faith doesn't "do" it "speaks",

Have a look at these scriptures; Deutronomy 30:10 "10If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul. 11For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off. 12It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, *and do it?* 13Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, *and do it?* 14But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, *that thou mayest do it.*" verse 10 is the same commandments The Lord gave the Israelites throughout The Old Testament which was to hear His Voice and obey His commandments but the Israelites always missed it, but then verse 11 personifies the commandment and says the commandment is neither in Heaven so we can pull it down to us and do it, neither is it in the sea that we should pull it up to us and do it, but it says in verse 14 The Word Jesus is near us, in our hearts and in our mouth. It's about doing His commandments consistently and Roman's 10 which is similar to Deutronomy 30:10 explains how we do His commandments. Romans 10:4 "4For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth." Jesus is the end of the law to everyone who believes because He IS the fulfillment of the law in Him is the fullness of every requirement of the law, so like the scripture says its by believing in Jesus that the requirements of the law are fully met that's why Paul says Roman's 3:31 "Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law." The law is established in us when we believe in The Only One in Whom is completeness and fulness, Jesus.

The power that "does" is Jesus Roman's 1:16 "16For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17For therein is *the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith* : as it is written, The just shall live by faith." The righteousness of God that the Israelites tried time and time again to "do" but missed it, is revealed in us by believing in Jesus. We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus But we have to bear fruits of righteousness and not just carry the title. It's about the righteousness of God that's already in us being revealed and verse 16 says its revealed by the "power of God unto salvation" (those who call upon The Name of The Lord shall be saved) verse 17 says the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith, meaning the more we believe, the more His righteousness in us is manifested and revealed. It's not about "doing" like the Israelites did and missed it but it's about believing and then seeing His power reveal His righteousness that's already in us. So we won't see His righteousness revealed if we don't believe. Romans 10:5-6 explains the righteousness of the law, righteous acts were "done" which were not consistently kept because breaking one law meant breaking all the law Roman's 10: 5 "For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them." But then verse 6 contrasts the righteousness of the law with the righteousness of faith and says its not about doing but speaking and confessing The Word Who is Jesus, and Who is The Commandment (Deutronomy 30:11-13) it says The Word Jesus is not far but near, He is in our hearts and our mouths. With our hearts we believe (scripture tells us to let Jesus The Word dwell in our hearts by faith), with our mouths confession is made unto salvation (speaking Jesus, confessing and calling on His Name so we are saved) Roman's 40:6 similar to Deutronomy 30 says, "But the righteousness which is of faith *speaketh* on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) 7Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) 8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9That if thou shalt *confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus* (confessing Jesus by calling on His Name The Prince of Peace, our hope of glory etc), and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; (Roman's 1:17 "The righteousness of God is *revealed* from faith to faith, by believing more and more Not by doing) and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Jesus when He was asked how to do the works of God told them to "believe" in The One The Father sent.

Jesus The Son of God while He was on earth said "only God is good" it was the glory of The Father and the power of The Holy Spirit manifested in Him that made Him "do" no one has in them the ability to do good it's Jesus in them that does good and when He appears or is manifested in us, we appear with Him in glory. Every good thought or good deed is by His power and is His Mind operating in us because only He does good, Goodness is a fruit Galatians 5:22 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, *goodness* , faith,". That's why no one can take credit for anything and like Paul says 1 Corinthians 1:31 "That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord." On a similar topic, "Faith without works is dead" it's not us that do the works of God it's His power that does it in us. Abraham didn't do He "believed" and it was counted to Him as righteousness. By believing, The Lord's power manifested in him making Him able to be so faithful and obedient he was willing to sacrifice his own son. In a nutshell the righteousness of faith is revealed in us when we believe The Word Jesus in our hearts, and speak and confess Him with our mouths, then His righteousness that's already in us manifests and the more we believe the more His righteousness is revealed and we see the fruits of righteousness. If it's by faith it's not an effort we find ourselves doing it naturally because it's by His Power that we have submitted and yielded to.

We are the righteousness of God in Jesus but we only have the title with no manifestation if we don't submit to Him so His power can reveal His righteousness. It's about His righteousness in us being revealed by faith by believing and confessing Jesus. People don't see His power and righteousness revealed because they don't believe He is Who He says He is, their Prince of Peace, their Joy and basically the hope of glory in them. That's when they choose to handle matters in their own way which is in the losing arena of the flesh, looking to other people or things to bring them peace, joy etc but like scripture says, the flesh profits nothing. It's a temporary solution that ultimately brings more and more dissatisfaction. The fulfillment and Substance of every desire is Jesus if we will believe He is Who He says He is and call on His Name to save us out of any situation.
