I. Before you Pray Believe

When You Pray, You Must Believe!

? The Bible tells us that we are not just to pray, but rather to pray believing.

? Not all prayer brings results. Only believing prayer moves God and receives from Him.

? The Bible does not teach is to rely on prayer alone. It teaches us to rely on Him. Only when we can fully rely on Him can we fully pray believing. We are to believe Him first, and then express that belief in prayer.

The faith must be in the heart before the prayer comes out of the mouth.

1. Prayers go unanswered because of a lack of faith.

2. Prayers go unanswered because of a lack of purpose to glorify God.

• Jesus said, "Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it" (John 14:13-14).

• Notice the connection here between "My name" and "the Father's glory."

• And when the Son is glorified, the Father is glorified.

3. Prayers go unanswered because of a lack of obedience.

? Jesus Christ never taught his disciples how to preach, but only how to pray.

? A Christian can see more on his knees than he can from his feet

? Prayer is not getting God prepared to do your will Prayer is getting you prepared to do Gods will

? Prayer is the only way to release supernatural power of God in your life, in your marriage and I your business

? Prayer is the key that unlocks the gates of heaven and closes the gate of hell

? Prayer has the power to cure sickness

? Prayer can shatter the shackles of misery and habit that are tormenting your life

? Prayer does not need proof, prayer needs practice

• If your marriage is under attack-pray

• If your childrens are being tormented by the prince of darkness- pray

• If your business is falling- pray

• If you are fighting deadly desease-pray

• If you are lost without God- pray

• If your life is empty-pray

• ,, ,, meaningless-pray

• ,, ,, hopeless-pray

• ,, ,, meaningless-pray

Pray, pray, pray, because God answers prayer

A prayerless Christian is a Powerless Christian

“ ‘’ ‘’ ‘’ Miserable Christian

A prayerless Christian who always lives in defeat

Church has become more airconditioned than prayer conditioned

A prayerless Church is a Powerless Church

A Prayerless church is a defeated church

A prayerless family is a defeated family

It has been said that, the family that prays together stay together

Somebody prayed for you, that’s why you are saved.

? The bible says , what you bind on earth, will be bind in heaven.

? God in heaven given you authority in earth in heaven, he is looking is there someone who use that authority

? Ask him to defeat the things are impossible, because with God noting is impossible

? Ask him to defeat the giants in you, because our God is a giant killer

? Ask him to send fire from heaven as he sent to Elijah

? Ask him to walk with you in the fire of furnace and be the fourth in the fire

? Ask him to depart the sea that lies before you and he will make your enemy go as fish food in the sea

? He is the god who cannot fails, he is waiting to show the great and mighty power

? Pray, pray pray God of the heaven will give that power

You are not asking to the most powerful man on earth

You are not asking to Billgates, you are asking to the creator of the univers who moves the mountain and divide the seas, because nothing nothing nothing is impossible to God

When Hutson Taylor was sailing to China to begin his missionary work, his ship was in great danger. The wind had died, and the current was carrying them toward sunken reefs which were close to islands inhabited by cannibals—so close they could see them building fires on the shore. Everything they tried was to no avail. In his journal Taylor recorded what happened next: The Captain said to me, “Well, we have done everything that can be done.” A thought occurred to me, and I replied, “No, there is one thing we have not done yet.” “What is that?” he queried. “Four of us on board are Christians. Let us each retire to his own cabin, and in agreed prayer ask the Lord to give us immediately a breeze.” Within minutes the wind did began to blow, and it carried them safely past the reefs.

I’d rather be able to pray than be a great preacher; Jesus Christ never taught His disciples how to preach, but only how to pray.”—D. L. Moody

All over the world people pray. Prayer is called for when there is a national or international disaster occurs. Through prayer we are asking God to move on our behalf or for the sake of someone else; this is termed “Intercessory Prayer.” “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us” (Ephesians 3:20).

Prayer Releases Anxiety

Prayer Solves Problems

Prayer Builds Your Confidence

Prayer Brings Peace Of Mind

Prayer Helps You Understand God’s Will

Prayer Brings Us Towards Forgiveness

Prayer can strengthen our souls, “In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul” (Psalm 138:3).

Prayer changes actual situations. Here are 7 reasons why:

1. Moses prayed like it would actually change God’s mind (and it did!) Exodus 32:11-14

“Then Moses entreated the Lord his God, and said, ‘O Lord, why does Your anger burn against Your people whom You have brought out from the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand? Why should the Egyptians speak, saying, ‘With evil intent He brought them out to kill them in the mountains and to destroy them from the face of the earth’? Turn from Your burning anger and change Your mind about doing harm to Your people. Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, Your servants to whom You swore by Yourself, and said to them, ‘I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heavens, and all this land of which I have spoken I will give to your descendants, and they shall inherit it forever.’ So the Lord changed His mind about the harm which He said He would do to His people.” Exodus 32:11-14

2. Joshua prayed like it would stop the sun from going down (and it did!) Joshua 10:12,13

“On the day the Lord gave the Amorites over to Israel, Joshua said to the Lord in the presence of Israel: ‘Sun, stand still over Gibeon, and you, moon, over the Valley of Aijalon.’ So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, till the nation avenged itself on its enemies, as it is written in the Book of Jashar. The sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day.” Joshua 10:12,13

3. Hannah prayed like it would result in her having a child (and it did!) 1 Samuel 1:27

The High Priest, Eli, thought she was drunk but, instead, she was filled with a passionate prayer that so intoxicated the heavens it resulted in Samuel being born, “I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him.” 1 Samuel 1:27

4. Elijah prayed like it would actually change the situation (and it did!) James 5:16-18

“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.” James 5:16-18

If he had not have prayed the rain would not have stopped and started again. Prayer changed the situation!

5. David prayed like it would stop the plague (and it did!) 2 Samuel 24:25

“David built an altar to the LORD there and sacrificed burnt offerings and fellowship offerings. Then the LORD answered his prayer in behalf of the land, and the plague on Israel was stopped.” 2 Samuel 24:25

6. Jesus prayed like it would raise Lazarus from the dead (and it did!) John 11:41-44

“So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, ‘Father, I thank you that you have heard me. I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.’ When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, ‘Lazarus, come out!’ The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face.” John 11:41-44

7. Jesus said that we can pray like it will change situations (and it will!)

Jesus promised us, “And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son” John 14:13. If our motive is to glorify God then he will give us what we ask for. This means that situations will change and God will be glorified as a result!

II. Before you Speak Listen

? Listening is one of the easiest things you’ll ever do, and one of the hardest.

? In a sense, listening is easy — or hearing is easy. It doesn’t demand the initiative and energy required in speaking.

? That’s why “faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ” (Romans 10:17).

1. Good listening requires patience.

2. Good listening is an act of love.

4. Good listening is ministry.

Proverbs 18:21

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.

• With the tongue Caesar sent armies to war,

• Adolf Hitler incited mass genocide and cults like Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Mormons sprang up.

• With the tongue Wesley preached to thousands,

• With tongue Winston Churchill inspired a nation to stand firm

• With tongue Billy Graham brought millions to faith.

The power of tongue

• It is one of the smaller organs of the body.

• The weight for a male is about 70 grams, for a female, 60 grams. However, its potential for evil is so great God saw fit to imprison it

Tongue is always behind a double jailer: the teeth and the lips. I am talking about the human tongue.

Recent research has revealed that there are few

places more infested with harmful bacteria than the human mouth.

More than one hundered million microscopic critters live there. Fungus grows in the oral cavity.

The tongue can be an instrument of great peace,

• The tongue can be a great inspiration or great destruction and devastation, on the world stage or in your life.

• That’s why you must learn to master your tongue.

How many times have you said things and regretted it?

• How many times have you spoken out and wished you could take the words back?

• So many people I know, have so many regrets about what they have said

Master your tongue or it will master your life, ruin your reputation, and destroy your relationships.

? If you want to look to master your tongue, we can read nothing better than the passage of James I shared before

I came across a statistic that shocked me. I was not sure I believed it.

? I read that the average person speaks 11 million words a year.

? Do you know how many words that is in a lifetime? At the age of 65 it is seventy-one million, five hundred thousand words. Imagine the magnitude of that many words.

When you see the doctor the first, he is checking is the tongue.

He can diagnose the illness only by looking at the tongue. (Mt 12:34). How we speak reveals a lot about us

If you can master your tongue you can master your whole body.

However, James points out that the tongue is basically untamable, and that it is itself set on fire by hell.

James 3:6-8 (NIV-WS)

The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.

All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and sea creatures are being tamed and have been tamed by mankind, but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.

Tongue is illustrated as :-

• As illustrated by the horse (verse 3)

• As illustrated by ships (verse 4)

• As illustrated by a wildfire (verse 5)

The Greek word for hell here is Gehenna, which is the valley of Hinnom, the garbage dump of Jerusalem, where the fires are never quenched, where they burned everything from garbage to criminal’s bodies. If you stop and listen to the things people say, even things you sometimes say, you will see the stamp of Hell fires upon it.

We tame animals, says James, but we cannot tame this tiny piece of our bodies!

And it’s a poison, a deadly poison! How many relationships have been destroyed by the poison of the tongue?

So let’s have a look at some of the ways your tongue causes destruction if you do not master your tongue…

Extraordinary Benefits of Silence and Speaking Less

Here are some benefits you’ll see when you include moments of silence in your life.

1. You Learn Much More When You Shut Up

2. Self-Control

Silence is not a sign of weakness; it’s a sign of strong self-control.

Once the words are out, they cannot be taken back. No matter how much you apologize and how you didn’t mean to say it. Control yourself and use your words judiciously.

3. What You Say Will Carry More Weight and Influence

Scarcity creates value. If you otherwise talk less, your words would carry more weight.

The more you speak the more ordinary you appear. The less you speak, the more uncommon you’ll appear. Thus, people would naturally talk about you more. They would want to know more about you.

4. You’ll Be Able to Read People

Getting to know the person you’re talking to is a necessary art in business, sales, negotiations, and relationships. But you can’t read people if you’re talking all the time.

Your silence and the ability to ask open-ended questions gives you the space to analyze the person.

5. You’ll Be a Great Listener

No matter what anyone tells you, listening is important. It’s also a skill that most people are not good at — which gives you leverage if you practice it enough.

6. You Won’t Sound Stupid

The more you speak the more you put yourself at the risk of saying something stupid. Knowing what not to say is as important as knowing what to say.

7. You Become Calmer — and Calmness is Soothing

When you speak less, there’s a sense of calmness and serenity in your speech. In our day-to-day hectic lives, such calmness feels soothing to us.

People would feel at ease during such a conversation which sets you up for an amazing time together.

8. You Cut Out Filler Words

Filler words are irritating. Especially when a person uses it every time they need to pause.

Your words are precious. Use them to bring love and light in this world.

III. Before you Spend Earn

Earn all you can, Save all you can, and Give all you can

Earn all you can, save all you can, and give all you can are the three basic points of John Wesley’s

John Wesley wasn’t against people having money, nor did he think that money was evil. What mattered most was what people did with their money. For Wesley, “money is an excellent gift of God, answering the noblest ends. In the hands of his children it is food for the hungry, drink for the thirsty, raiment for the naked.”

7 Biblical Principles for Saving and Investing Your Money

Here are seven biblical principles that may help.

1. Saving for Future Needs Is Biblical

Some Christians don’t save for retirement because they believe it’s disobedient (usually quoting Matt. 6:19–20), or they feel guilty about putting money away when others are in such great need. Others believe it isn’t necessary because God will take care of them (Isa. 46:4). And some would like to save but spend everything they make (Prov. 13:18).

2. Saving Honors God and Serves Others

It would be easy to think of saving as a purely selfish activity. That can indeed be the case—we need only read about the rich fool in Luke 12—but it doesn’t have to be.

Saving honors God because it rightly values money as a gift that he has given to us (James 1:16–17). Instead of unplanned, impulsive, or foolish spending, wise saving demonstrates the importance of stewarding his gifts (Luke 12:47–48).

Proper stewardship will put you in a better position to help with important needs as they arise (Eph. 4:28). You can respond more quickly and perhaps in a more significant way (Prov. 3:27). Saving may also allow you to leave an inheritance, blessing your heirs so they can then be a blessing to others (Prov. 13:22).

3. Saving Can Bring Temptations

We can be tempted to save for wrong reasons—out of fear and greed or a desire for independence from God and others.

If you save out of fear, then you aren’t trusting God (1 Tim. 6:17).

If you do it out of greed, you’ve missed the whole point (Prov. 1:19; Mark 8:36; Luke 12:15).

And once you’ve acquired some wealth, you don’t want to become like the miser we read about in Ecclesiastes

5:13 or the “rich fool” we read about in Luke 12. The problem with both isn’t that they saved; it’s that they were focused only on themselves and put their faith in riches rather than God.

We can be tempted to save for wrong reasons—out of fear and greed or a desire for independence from God and others.

III. Keys to Financial Success

A. Understand the Biblical truth related to finances:

1. We should realize that having money is not wrong in itself.

• 1 Samuel 2:7 "The LORD makes poor and rich; He brings low, He also exalts.”

- being wealthy is not a sin – but how you use what God has entrusted to you can a sin!

Q: Who are some OT examples of wealthy people who trusted in God?

> Abraham, Job, Solomon

2. Money is a gift from God. [READ Deut. 8:11-18] – interesting that Moses had to remind the children of Israel this!

> . . . but you shall remember the Lord your God . . .

3. We must be willing to part with money as God directs your steps.

• Matthew 19:27 Then Peter said to Him, "Behold, we have left everything and followed You; what then will there be for us?"

• Job 1:21 He said, "Naked I came from my mother's womb, And naked I shall return there. The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away. Blessed be the name of the LORD."

4. Those who have money must not be given preferential treatment – cf. James 2:1-10

Q: What is wrong with that? [all sorts of reasons!]

5. We must not be proud, nor seek security from money.

• 1 Timothy 6:17 Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy.

• Proverbs 11:28 He who trusts in his riches will fall, But the righteous will flourish like the green leaf.

6. We must never make the pursuit of money that highest goal of our lives!

• Matthew 6:33 "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

7. We must use our money for eternal purposes.

• Luke 16:9 "And I say to you, make friends for yourselves by means of the wealth of unrighteousness, so that when it fails, they will receive you into the eternal dwellings.

8. Money must not be loved!

• 1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

IV. Before you Write Think

11 Reasons Why You Should Think Before You Speak

1. Your Words Reflect Who You Are (revelas your personality)

2. Words Have Power

3. Words Can Hurt (or Help) People

4. Your Emotions Can Make You Say Things You Don’t Mean

5. Words Can Destroy Relationships

6. Words Can Affect Other People’s Actions

7. You Can Never Take It Back ( you can never unsay words)

Once you say something, it is out there forever! You can never take it back. Sure, you can try, but it won’t work.

Taking back what you say is like trying to put air back in a balloon—it doesn’t work. It doesn’t matter how much you try, it won’t change the fact that those words are out there—forever.

The T.H.I.N.K Before Speaking Technique

T.H.I.N.K is a technique involving five (5) words you can use to ask yourself five valid questions. It's easy to memorize. Feel free to apply it in everyday communications as you work on changing the habit of speaking before thinking.

• T = TRUE: Is what I'm about to say true or just a rumor that can cause emotional pain?

• H = HELPFUL: Will my statement help or hurt?

• I = INSPIRING: Is it good advice or something that will uplift the person?

• N = NECESSARY: Do I really need to say what I'm fixin' to say? Some things are better left unsaid.

• K = KIND: Are the things I'm about to say pleasant? Unkind words can be psychologically damaging and you can't take them back, even with a heartfelt apology.

V. Before you Quit Try

YOU ARE NEVER A FAILURE UNTIL YOU QUIT.

We all want good things to happen in our lives, but too often we want it now...not later. When it doesn't happen that way, we are tempted to ask, "When, God, when?" Most of us need to grow in the area of trusting God instead of focusing on the "when" question.

If you're missing joy and peace, you're not trusting God.

Wait with Patience

We spend a lot of time in our lives waiting because change is a process. Many people want change, but they don't want to go through the waiting process.

As we develop patience, the Bible says we finally feel completely satisfied—lacking nothing.

Accept God's Timing

God gives us hopes and dreams for certain things to happen in our lives, but He doesn't always allow us to see the exact timing of His plan.

We know that God's plan for our lives is good, and when we entrust ourselves to Him, we can experience total peace and happiness.

The book of Genesis tells the story of Joseph, who waited many years for the fulfillment of the dream God had given him. He was falsely accused and imprisoned before the time came for him to do what God had shown him he was to do.

Exodus 13:17-18 tells us that God led the Israelites the longer, harder way on their journey to the Promised Land because He knew they were not yet ready to go in. There had to be time for their training, and they had to go through some very trying situations. They wasted a lot of time wondering about God's timing, but God never failed to take care of them and show them what He wanted them to do.

Learn to Rely on God

Proverbs 16:9 says, A man's mind plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps and makes them sure. Proverbs 20:24 says, Man's steps are ordered by the Lord. How then can a man understand his way?

? When God directs our paths, He sometimes leads us in ways that don't make sense to us so we're not always going to understand everything. If we try to reason out everything, we will experience struggle, confusion and misery—but there is a better way. Proverbs 3:5-6 Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.

? This sounds so simple, yet too many people make the mistake of trying to figure everything out themselves.

? Most of us have spent our lives trying to take care of ourselves, but when we accept Christ as our Savior, we must learn to trust our lives to His care. When we do, we can say with the psalmist, ...I trusted in, relied on, and was confident in You, O Lord; I said, You are my God. My times are in Your hands...(Psalm 31:14-15).

From Seedtime to Harvest

? Ecclesiastes 3:1 tells us: To everything there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven.

? This lets us know that we all don't live in the same season at the same time.

? You should never be jealous of someone who is enjoying harvest while you're still in the planting season.

? Remember, they had to go through a season of planting just as you are. Seeing the results they are enjoying should be an encouragement to you.

? Understand and trust that God is doing the very best for you in your present season.

Seedtime represents learning the will of God.

? Each time we choose God's will instead of our own, we’re planting a good seed that will eventually bring a harvest in our life.

? Your soul is your mind, your will and your emotions. When the Word gets rooted in there and begins to change your mind, it begins to heal your emotions and turn your will away from self-will and onto doing the will of God.

? Between seedtime and harvest comes a time of waiting. After a seed is planted, the heat, moisture and pressure of the ground finally cause the outer hull to crack open.

? Then roots shoot down, digging their way through the ground. It takes time for this to happen, and it takes place underground.

? Above the ground, you can't tell anything is happening. That's the way our lives are.

? After we plant seeds of obedience, we feel like nothing is happening, but all kinds of things are happening inside where we can't see. And like the seed that finally bursts through the ground with a beautiful green shoot, our seeds of obedience finally break forth into a beautiful manifestation of God in our lives.

When harvest time comes, the desires of your heart begin to manifest—bondages fall off of you and you see your dreams come to pass. You see your kids changing and your family getting saved.

Prosperity, favor, promotion, honor, and all kinds of good things come out in the open where they can be seen. In harvest time, more than ever before, you hear from God, you enjoy His presence, and you're led by the Spirit.

Blessings begin to chase you down the street, and joy and calm delight become your normal mood.

Are you tired of waiting for harvest time in your life? Are you frustrated, crying out, "When, God, when?" Then you need to understand that God's timing is often a mystery.

He doesn't do things on our timetable. Yet His Word promises that He will not be late, not one single day. But these things I plan won't happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, do not despair, for these things will surely come to pass. Just be patient! They will not be overdue a single day! (Habakkuk 2:3).

God causes things to happen at exactly the right time! Your job is not to figure out when, but to make up your mind that you won't give up until you cross the finish line and are living in the radical, outrageous blessings of God! The more you trust Jesus and keep your eyes focused on Him, the more life you'll have. Trusting God brings life. Believing brings rest. So stop trying to figure everything out, and let God be God in your life

Don’t you give up on your dream

Ask Yourself These 4 Questions Before You Quit Something

1. WHY DID I PURSUE THIS IN THE FIRST PLACE?

2. WHY DO I FEEL THE NEED TO QUIT?

3. HAVE I DONE EVERYTHING I CAN TO MAKE THIS WORK FOR ME?

4. WHAT DO I HAVE TO GAIN BY QUITTING?

Let's notice the life of Nehemiah and see why, in spite of all that he faced, he didn't quit.

I. HE HAD A CONVICTION TO ACCEPT THE WORK OF GOD

Listen to what Nehemiah said in "6:3"- "I am doing a great work." This helps us understand that Nehemiah accepted the challenge to do the work of God. No one forced him to go to Jerusalem and rebuild the walls and repair the gate.

Nehemiah became convicted about what took place in Jerusalem. He had a deep conviction and desire to go and rebuild the walls of Jerusalem and repair the gate that had been burned.

A. He Had A Personal Conviction

I am convinced that it was God that gave him that burning desire to do His Work. Nehemiah took God's Work personally. He said in "6:3"- "I AM DOING."

Everybody had a job to do and a position to take. They were scattered out in different sections, but every one had a personal responsibility.

Some Had Weapons - They Were Watching

Some Had Tools - They Were Working

Every Christian has a personal responsibility in the Work of God. God gives His children a personal call.

II. HE HAD A COMMITMENT IN ACHIEVING THE WORK OF GOD

Nehemiah said: "I am doing a great work, SO THAT I CANNOT COME DOWN."

Nehemiah was not about to stop and get distracted from his work. There was no way that he was going to come down from his position on that wall.

A. He Was Threaten - But He Didn't Quit

His enemy wanted him to stop what he was doing. They sent letters; they sent threats; they were angry; they were against the Work of God. But Nehemiah was committed to achieving the Work that he started. He said; "I cannot come down. I will not come down. It's Too Soon To Quit. I am now finished."

If there is one thing our enemy Satan wants us to do is "quit" doing what we are doing for the Lord.

B. He Was Tired - But He Didn't Quit

III. HE HAD A CHOICE ABOUT ACCOMPLISHING THE WORK OF GOD

Nehemiah asked a very important question: "WHY SHOULD THE WORK CEASE?"

A. He Didn't Give Up

B. He Didn't Give In

C. He Didn't Give Out

Why would you quit? You are not necessarily quitting on the Church; you are not necessarily quitting on the Christians around you. You are quitting on God. (Why would you even want to quit?)

You may not be able to do as much as you once did - - but you can still do something for God!

Here are 3 ways to keep yourself going when you’re almost ready to quit:

1. Revisit Your Purpose

Remember, your reasons behind your goals will become your driving force.

2. Remember Your Accomplishments

When you are down and want to quit, think about all the things you have accomplished before. No matter who you are and what you have done, you should have some accomplishments to look back on. If you say that you have no achievements, think harder.

Learn this technique called “celebrate all wins.” Regardless of whether your win is big or small, just celebrate it. This is how Tiger Woods

3. You Are Not Alone

Always remember that you are not alone. There are so many people around you who are waiting to assist you and support you.

VI. Before you Die Live

I. WHY AM I HERE?- Question of PURPOSE

It is a tough question. The average human beings does not know why they are here?

They wake up every morning, go to their job, getting less than that they worth, dying at very young age with frustration, because they don’t know why they exist.

What On Earth Am I Here For?"

For thousands of years people have asked this question.

Many people of the Bible did. Jeremiah asked this question, “Why was I born? Was it only to have trouble and sorrow? To end my life in disgrace?”

David asked, “I remember how short my life is [in other words, it’s not that long]. Why did You create us? For nothing?”

Job asked the question, “Why should I work so hard for nothing?” If there’s no meaning and purpose, why am I even doing this?

Solomon even questions the significance of pleasure. He says, “Laughing and having fun is crazy. What good does it do?” Is there any significance to what I do? Why keep going? Without meaning life is petty, trivial, and pointless

You see you were made for a far greater purpose than just finding ultimate success or comfort or happiness because,

You were made for God’s purposes! That’s right the reason you are here,

The reason so many people live frustrated, confused, and restless lives is because everything was made for God’s purposes.

everything from birds to buds was made by God for God.

You were made to be the focus of God’s amazing love!

The Bible teaches that God had five purposes in making us. These five purposes are explained by Jesus in the Great Commandment and the Great Commission. They’re demonstrated by the early Church in Acts, chapter 2.

They’re explained by Paul in Ephesians, chapter 4, and they’re prayed about by Jesus in John, chapter 17.

Number 1: Planned for God’s Pleasure

Number 2: Formed for God’s Family

Number 3: Created to Be Like Christ

Number 4: Shaped for Service

Number 5: Made for a Mission

God designed you perfectly to accomplish your purpose. (See Psalm 139: “I was fearfully and wonderfully made.”)

Nature abounds with evidence of this eternal law. The Master Manufacturer of all created things has made all His creations for a definite purpose and has established that purpose as the ultimate definition of success
