Summary: Roar is the sign of Domain

I Like to start my speech with something funny

A husband and wife had been married for 60 years and had no ?secrets except for one:

The woman kept secret box that ?she forbade her husband from ever opening.

But when she was on her deathbed—and with her blessing—he opened the box and found a ?beautiful doll and 10 Lakhs rupees in cash.

She said :- “My mother told me that the secret to a happy marriage was to never ?argue,”. “Instead, I should keep quiet and make a doll.” Her husband was touched.

The husband was very happy because there was only one doll in the box—that meant she’d been angry with him only once in 60 years. He was bit astonished and asked “But what about all this money?”

“Oh,” she said, “that’s the money ?I made from selling the dolls.”

There are many books called Vedas

In hinduism there are four Vedas: the Rigveda, the Yajurveda, the Samaveda and the Atharvaveda. Each Veda also has four subdivisions

In islam also 4 major books:-

• Quran by mohammed

• Taurat (law of moses)

• Zabur (Psalms ofDavid

• Injil (gospel of Jesus)

But none of these deserve the name holy scriptures

In the 14th century, a Christian named John Wycliffe translated the Bible into English. The history says the Catholic Church exhumed and burned his corpse as punishment for his translation work.

• This bible has been traslated more than 2000+ languages

• The first printed book in the world is the Holy Bible

• The Holy Bible is also the most sold book in the world

• The Holy Bible is the most read book in the world

• The Holy Bible is the book that has transformed the most people in the world

The Bible is the most commonly stolen book in the world, most likely because it is so available in hotel rooms and places of worship.

China is not only the largest producer of textiles and manufactured goods in the world; the country is also the largest producer of Bibles.[12]

• The greatest gift of God to man, next to His Son and His Spirit, is the HOLY SCRIPTURES.

• All that we see today are temporal, but with one exception—the Bible! Heaven and earth shall pass away but God’s Word shall remain forever (Mk 13:31).

Without the Bible we have no light or direction in this world of darkness and chaos (Psa 119:105; 2 Pet 1)

The word of God is Perfect

The word of God is Preserve

And the bible says;- Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

Roar Like a Lion

PROV:28:1

"The wicked flee when no one is pursuing, but the righteous are bold as a lion."

Rev 5:5- 6- 5 But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of

David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.” And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.

• Today many of us are chasing celebrities and big men in our societies and countries to learn their ways but the bible says learn something from the animals

• God who made all animals know them very well in terms of their abilities, reasons, understanding, and everything.

• As for the horse, he gave them the courage to run fiercely in battlegrounds without being scared of javelins, sword, arrows and other war weapons.

When you read the Bible you find that many times people are compared to various figures of nature.

• You find that saved people are compared to sheep, cattle, lions, eagles, etc.

• You also find that lost people are compared to goats, swine, dogs, vultures, etc.

• In Jesus’ teaching He would often use various aspects of God’s natural creation to illustrate the spiritual truths He wanted to get across.

• Jesus spoke of :-

• fruit bearing trees,

• vines and branches,

• birds and the lilies of the field,

• seed and different kinds of soil,

• sheep and goats,

• wolves and serpents.

I think much of God’s creation was designed not just to have an ecosystem where life is maintained and for our enjoyment, but also to give us wisdom.

• We’re going to look at a little aspect of God’s creation this morning that has great wisdom for us

• Solomon, the wisest man before Jesus, encouraged people to look at this bit of creation and gain wisdom by doing so.

• Solomon studied plants and animals. He was a horticulturalist and agriculturalist and biologist (I Kings 4:33).

The Bible mentions the word lion 155 times in the Old Testament alone. Proverbs 30:30 (NKJV) describes the lion as “mighty among beasts, who retreats before nothing.”

Few facts about Lion

• Lion is a symbol of fearlessness, strength and invincibility. In short, a lion is bold.

• The Lion’s Roar

• A lion’s roar can be heard up to five miles away, and its reverberation literally shakes the ground.

• Those who have stood close to a lion when it roared have absorbed its shock to the core of their being. It is fearsome, yet majestic, and it is no wonder that the Bible presents Christ as the “Lion of Judah.”

Here are some amazing lion facts:

1) LIONS ARE SOCIAL

• Lions are the most sociable of all the big cats.

• They live in groups called prides, which usually consist of related females and their offspring.

• The typical pride consists of ten to fifteen lions, with several adult females, their cubs and up to four males. Some lion prides can be as large as 40 members!

2) LIONS DON'T NEED TO DRINK EVERYDAY, BUT THEY DO NEED TO EAT

• Lions can go up to four days without drinking water, but if available, they will drink water every day.

• Lions do need to eat every day.

• Adult female lions need to eat about 11 pounds of meat each day, while adult males eat 16 pounds or more every day..

3) FEMALE LIONS (LIONESSES) DO MOST OF THE HUNTING/ LIONS ARE SUPERB HUNTERS

• Lionesses are the primary hunters of the pride.

• They are smaller and more agile than males and they use teamwork to bring an animal down.

• After a successful hunt, all the lions in the pride share the meal.

• A lion’s vision is roughly six times more sensitive to light than humans, giving them a distinct advantage when hunting at night

4) LIONS DO NOT LIVE IN JUNGLES

• Although lions are known as the "king of the jungle", lions in Africa do not actually live in a jungle. Instead, their primary habitats consist of Africa’s grasslands and plains..

5) LIONS COMMUNICATE IN MANY WAYS

• Lions communicate in different ways using sounds like roars, growls, moans, and grunts. Also, by leaving scent markings and through visual signals, such as the darkness of the mane.

• They also rub their heads on one another as an act of bonding and to spread the "family scent".

6) FEMALE LIONS RAISE CUBS TOGETHER

• Lionesses will take care of their cubs until they reach the age of two or three.

• Male lions do not directly participate in the parenting, but they will protect the pride's cubs from danger.

• A lioness will keep her cubs hidden from other lions for around six weeks until they are old enough to follow the pride. Lion cubs are full of life and grow up playing with the other youngsters in the pride. They can be seen leaping, rolling, and gently biting. This type of play builds strength and family bonds.

• A lion's roar can be heard up to 5 miles away. This is a warning to other predators and to protect their territory from competing males, also to attract mating partners

THE ROAR OF THE LION

• The dog barks

• The cat meow and hisses

• The Alligator bellows

• The calves low, moo

• The chicken cluck

• The chimpanzees scream.

• The humans shout. They shout out of fear. They shout to intimidate others.

But the Lion, Roar.

? To roar is a sign of power and DOMINION

? To roar is a sign of AUTHORITY AND ASSURANCE

? To roar is a sign of CONFIDENCE AND CERTAINTY

7 amazing lessons from lion

1. THE LION MARKS ITS TERRITORY BY ITS ROARS.

• The roar of a lion travels up to a distance of 5 km. That distance signifies its territory.

Judah means praise. The distance and the level to which your praise will rise will reflect the arena of your authority.

• The level of your worship and your praise will determine your authority.

• Even the enemies of the lion respect the sound of its roar. The devil will step aside when you roar.

• Mark the territory of your family, finances, business, education, jobs, children and calling with your praise and roar. The devil will not touch them.

• The sound of your praise will mark your territory. That's why the devil shuts you up! He knows that if you praise he has no hold over your life. Praise Him and the mind binding spirits will leave.

FOLLOWING FOUR SCRIPTURAL POINTS AS IT RELATES TO THE POWER AND PURPOSE OF HIGH PRAISE.

Praise: Is the Place of God’s Residence

Psalms 22:3 (KJV) – “Yet Thou art Holy, O Thou who art enthroned upon the praises of Israel.”

Praise sanctifies the atmosphere around us.

How?

? Because God is enthroned on the praises of Israel.

? God is lifted up and exalted,

Praise: Is the Way into His Presence

Psalms 100:4 – “Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him; bless His name.”

? Praise establishes a highway that releases the visitation of His presence.

? Praise is a form of proclamation that is built from God’s throne to you.

? The purpose of praise is to release God’s blessing upon us as we praise the Lord.

? As we glorify Him, He turns it back upon us in blessing. ?(See Isaiah 60:18.)

Praise: Is A Garment of the Spirit

Isaiah 61:3 – “To grant those who mourn in Zion, giving them a garland instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting, so they will be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”

Through the exchange of the cross, God gives us garments of praise for the garments of heaviness.

? On the cross Jesus replaced our Shame with Honor

? On the cross Jesus replaced our Blames with Blessings

? On the cross Jesus replaced our Guilt with Innocence

? On the cross Jesus replaced our Disrespect with Respect

Praise is a mantle, a type of clothing we put on.

You will look differently, act differently and talk differently when you put on the garment of praise!

Praise: Is a Weapon of Spiritual War

Psalms 50:23 – “He who offers a sacrifice of thanksgiving honors Me; and to him who orders his way aright I shall show the salvation of God.”

? Praise is a spiritual warfare weapon, a means of deliverance from the strongholds of darkness.

? Store up the Word of God in your heart so that it naturally overflows! ?

What the Power of Praise Can Do - 8 Things:

1. Praise gets our focus off ourselves and back on God.

2. Praise brings us to a place of humility

3. Praise makes the enemy flee.

4. Praise leaves no room for complaining and negativity.

5. Praise makes room for God’s blessings over our lives.

6. Praise invites His presence.

7. Our spirits are refreshed and renewed in His presence.

8. It paves the way for God's power to be displayed, miracles happen.

2. THE ENEMIES CANNOT ENTER WHERE THERE IS A ROAR

1 Sam 17:1- Now the Philistines gathered their armies together to battle, and were gathered at Sochoh, which belongs to Judah; they encamped between Sochoh and Azekah, in Ephes Dammim.

• If your praise can be shut, the philistines can oppose you and intimidate you. You need to mark your territory with your praise in a way that the enemy cannot enter or touch it

• You need to know that even tired lions roar, hungry lions roar and wounded lions will roar too! You can roar despite your circumstances (tiredness, weariness, hunger, weakness). God is anointing your roar.

You don't have to be perfect to praise God.

3. THE SUPERNATURAL PROVISIONS ARE RELEASED WHEN YOU ROAR

Psalm 104:21-The young lions roar after their prey, And seek their food from God.

The Holy Spirit said that Elijah was first fed by the ravens. Then the Lord prepared a widow to feed him in Zarephath. After that, the Lord sent angels to feed him.

The supernatural provision is prepared for you beyond what you imagine.

God is going to meet your needs according to His riches. Get roar back.

Past few years you received a little from ravens, a little more from humans but if you are ready to roar and praise and pray, the angels of God will act beyond your imagination to provide for your needs.

You provision will come in that roar, your blessing will come in that roar.

4. YOUR CHILDREN WILL RETURN WHEN YOU ROAR

Hoses 11:10- They shall walk after the Lord. He will roar like a lion. When He roars, Then His sons shall come trembling from the west;

If you will roar, your children will enter back into the blessing God gave you.

? When the lions roar, the lion cubs know that it is time to return.

? When you roar, the children will know that it is time to return.

? When parents worship, the son struggling with addiction will know it’s time to return. Return to God’s presence.

Will you roar? When you do, your children will return into God’s grace.

I saw a video on National Geography of a wounded lion lying down. The Hyena is the No.1 enemy of the lion. The hyena comes to attack the cubs of the wounded lion. Though the lion was wounded and lying down, it roared, and the hyenas fled the scene.

5. LIONS HAVE SCARS, NOT WOUNDS---OVERCOME

Majority of the lions have a scar.

It is a sign that the lion is an overcomer.

Something had attacked it to hurt it, kill it and finish it but it overcame. It is a scar. A dried-up wound.

Remember that your Christian life is a warfare.

? Not against your mother-in-law or father in law but against principalities and powers of darkness.

? Not against your pastor but against the darkness

Attraction to the world and works of flesh will try to grip you.

? Some of you have been wounded by failures and weaknesses. God is sending forth healing upon your lives.

? Surrender to God, He will dry your wounds and make you whole.

In serving God:-

? you will face battles,

? you will be wounded,

? people you love will leave you,

? and you will face dangers from false brethren.

The Holy Spirit says, “We are not eternal victims. We overcome by the Blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony.”

I am talking about scars, not wounds.

? Wounds can be infected by bacteria.

? The body will be destroyed by wounds.

That is why Jesus was wounded for your transgressions on the Cross of Calvary.

Don’t walk around with open wounds.

The flies will lay eggs there...Belzebub (another name for the devil) means the lord of flies.

Don’t walk around carrying wounds in your hearts against people, for if you do, the enemy will lay eggs there and mess you up.

But scars are a sign that your wounds have been healed.

Let certain wounds be dried up in Jesus.

? You have to overcome addictions,

? You have to overcome sickness,

? You have to overcome Bad behaviors

? You have to overcome discouragement,

? You have to overcome toxic relationships,

? You have to overcome unforgiveness, pain and anger.

How will you overcome?

? Not by wearing new clothes or by being on social media or by using your personality, but...we overcome by

the Blood of the Lamb and Word of your testimony.

The Hyenas have a distinct laugh. They know that they cannot mess with a lion with a scar because it tells them that this lion is an overcomer, a fighter! This lion knows to come out and to survive.

Certain things will come your way because of what you survived yesterday (in the past). God is lifting you up.

A Man of God known to pastor said that when a word is spoken or promise declared in his church, the people “suck it in with a straw”. The declare it and then they suck it in by speaking in tongues. The proteins and vitamins in that Word needs to be sucked in!

You will overcome if you roar. If you roar, the Lord will restore your territory back to you.

6. LIONS ARE ATTACKED WHEN ALONE

Lions are always in herds.

Hyenas try to separate them from the Pride.

They go around the lonely lions laughing and mocking it. I must tell you my brothers and sisters But if the church is together, with Jesus none can attack

7. ACCELERATED WALK

? The lion walks in tipsy toes.

? It stands on its toes.

? It does so to indicate an acceleration or speed.

Our walk is going to change! It is going to accelerate.

You have authority in the spiritual and physical realm.

God is going to open up doors to new nations.

Meetings and ministry will be at a different level.

God will bless nations through us. The call of Jesus is big.

there is an acceleration.

ABOUT JUDAH

Judah is the 4th son of Jacob, born to Leah. Though Jacob loved Rachel, God blessed him with Judah from Leah.

The Lord will cause your praise to rise from unloved circumstances of your life.

Genesis 40- Jacob did not bless the other sons before Judah like Levi, Simeon etc. He only spoke about their situations. But when Jacob laid his hands on Judah, upon the head of the one who praises, prophecies flowed out of him.

Genesis 49: 8- “Judah, you are he whom your brothers shall praise; Your hand shall be on the neck of your enemies; Your father’s children shall bow down before you. Judah is a lion’s whelp; From the prey, my son, you have gone up. He [a]bows down, he lies down as a lion; And as a lion, who shall rouse him? Nor a lawgiver from between his feet, Until Shiloh comes; And to Him shall be the obedience of the people.

• Your hand shall be on the neck of your enemies---It may be a lion or a cat, when they get hold of something by the neck, it is over for that thing. There is no chance of escape. When the enemy tries to get hold of you through disease or bondage, your hand will come upon the neck of your enemy. If you are the one that praises, your hand will destroy the enemy.

• If you praise, there is complete victory!

• There is a lioness too. As a family the Lord will deliver you.

• Because Jesus is revealed through your life, God will not allow the sceptre of the wicked to destroy you. Tell each other that Jesus, the lion of Judah should be revealed through you and your family.

Judges 1:18-19- 18 Also Judah took Gaza with its territory, Ashkelon with its territory, and Ekron with its territory. 19 So the Lord was with Judah. And they drove out the mountaineers, but they could not drive out the inhabitants of the lowland, because they had chariots of iron.

Who else do you need? Uncles, aunt? You need Jehovah. Are you the one who praises and worships, the Lord will be seen with you.

The success of Christian life is only one thing---God with you!

The Lord says that “in Judah I have found myself a king”. When your praise is revealed, you will be driven to the next level.

The size of your call is as big as the one who gives you that call. If Jesus calls you, your call is as big as He is, the Creator of the heaven and earth. You have authority in the spiritual and physical realm. God is going to open up doors to new nations. Meetings and ministry will be at a different level. The church property will become bigger. God will bless nations through us. The call of Jesus is big.

You are a lion cub; you roar and the territory shall come to you.

FEW APPLICATIONS How to be bold as a Lion.

1. BE BOLD IN APPROACHING GOD

“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain….” –Hebrews 4:16 (KJV)

? Your source of boldness is knowing who you are in Christ and what rights you have in your covenant relationship with Him.

? One of the rights Jesus secured for you at the cross is the right to come freely into the presence of God without condemnation, without insecurity and without the fear of not being heard.

EXAMPLE:-

Take your house, for instance. You go into your house boldly—knowing it belongs to you.

You don’t hesitate. You don’t question if it belongs to you.

You certainly don’t go to the back door, trembling

? Of course not! That house belongs to you. You aren’t sassy about it, but you live there. It’s yours.

? Of course, the devil will work overtime to convince you that you aren’t worthy of boldly entering in. He doesn’t want you in there

Boldness isn’t begging, pleading, wishing or hoping—boldness is KNOWING. It is confidence that when you pray according to the Word in faith, and as you live in obedience to God’s Word, you will receive what you ask (1 John 3:21-22).

You have a standing invitation from your heavenly Father to come boldly and take possession of what you need., and expect to receive what you ask for not just once in a while, but every time!

? Jesus was bold about going to the cross.

? He was bold about being punished.

? He was bold about accepting your sin.

So be bold if for no other reason than to honor Him.

If you need something from God today, don’t waste time standing around outside heaven’s gates. Through Jesus you belong in the very throne room of God. So, come right on in. The door is always open for you.

2. BE BOLD BY ACTING ON THE WORD OF GOD

“But be doers of the word, and not hearers only.” –James 1:22 (NKJV)

Boldness and the miraculous are so closely tied together

Boldness comes from a knowing in your spirit, and boldness causes us to act on God’s Word.

Example:- the food in your home and the food in the hotel

3. BE BOLD TO RESIST THE DEVIL

“Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” –James 4:7 (NIV)

How does the devil see you? Does he see you as a terrifying and mighty warrior of God…or does he see you as a wimp he can whip in a minute?

The answer to that question depends on you. If you study the children of Israel and their failure to enter the Promised Land, you’ll see the key to their failure is found in these words: “And we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight” (Numbers 13:33, KJV).

The reason the Israelites were so terrified to fight the giants in Canaan wasn’t because those giants were so big. It was because the Israelites saw themselves as so small! It was what they were in their own sight that defeated them.

The same thing is true for you as a believer. It’s what you are in your own sight that will make the difference.

If, in your own sight, you’re a weak, powerless Christian, the devil will run over you three or four times a day or more if he’s not busy.

? But when you begin to see yourself as God sees you, as a conquering son or daughter of Almighty God, equipped with the very power of God Himself, the devil will want to steer clear of you.

Jesus has already defeated the devil, and if you’re a Christian, you’ve got authority over him.

You’ve got the Name and blood of Jesus at your disposal, but you have to decide to be bold and take authority over your family, over sickness and disease, over the spirit of poverty, and anything else going on in your life.

You might be the quietest, sweetest person in the whole world, but when the devil comes, don’t be nice and quiet toward him.

EXAMPLE: When an Intruder /trespasser/invader comes to your house

He is an outlaw, a killer and a thief. So, be bold in standing against him. Confront him and cast him out.

? Be bold to walk into the darkness and bring the light.

? Be bold to reach into the jaws of hell and bring out your precious loved ones before they’re lost forever.

? Be bold to face the angel of death and tell him: “No you don’t. Take your hand off and bow your knee to the Name of Jesus.”

Start practicing, and you’ll get bolder and bolder.

? Tell Satan he can’t come into your garden,

? he can’t come into your body,

? he can’t have your children,

? and he can’t have your money.

Rebuke him and tell him to get out in the Name of Jesus.

Put him in his place—and that place is out of your sight and out of your life.

In conclusion, when you’re bold in approaching God, bold in acting on the Word of God, and bold about resisting the devil, you will be one who God describes as being bold as a lion.

You don’t have to live in fear or timidity ever again.

Now gird yourself up, get a spiritual roar going, and be bold as a lion!

THERE IS A LION INSIDE OF YOU. SOME OF WILL GET YOUR ROAR BACK

GET YOUR ROAR BACK
