TPT… For we’ve been buried with Him into His death. Our “baptism into death” also means we were raised with Him when we believed in God’s resurrection power, the power that raised Him from death’s realm. This “realm of death” describes our former state, for we were held in sin’s grasp. But now, we’ve been resurrected out of that “realm of death” never to return, for we are forever alive & forgiven of all our sins! He canceled out every legal violation we had on our record & the old arrest warrant that stood to indict us. He erased it all—our sins, our stained soul—He deleted it all & they cannot be retrieved! Everything we once were in Adam has been placed onto His cross & nailed permanently there as a public display of cancellation. Then Jesus made a public spectacle of all the powers & principalities of darkness, stripping away from them every weapon & all their spiritual authority & power to accuse us. And by the power of the cross, Jesus led them around as prisoners in a procession of triumph. He was not their prisoner; they were His!
Glory to God! These scriptures should make it hard for a person that has experienced that Resurrection Life to sit still & be quiet!
Go ahead & take a moment to give God the praise He deserves right now…He is the Resurrection & the Life!
The passion I felt from the heart of the Holy Spirit was to impact every person on this Easter Sunday with the power that was released in the Resurrection of Jesus!
Paul delivered such an incredible word to describe the work that was accomplished from the cross to the empty tomb.
I. Dying to Be Raised…

Every person has to come to the reality that we are walking dead in this world without Jesus.
Once we come to terms with our true condition, it is only then that we can begin to see hope for our lives.
Ephesians 2:1-3 NLT Once you were dead because of your disobedience & your many sins. You used to live in sin, just like the rest of the world, obeying the devil—the commander of the powers in the unseen world. He is the spirit at work in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God. All of us used to live that way, following the passionate desires & inclinations of our sinful nature. By our very nature we were subject to God’s anger, just like everyone else.
Jesus didn’t need to die, He had life & life in its fullness. He knew He had to take on Himself your & my death in order for us to be eligible to take part in His resurrected life.
II. A Whole New Life…
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 NLT Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you & was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.
The “Power of Easter” is the representation of the supernatural that connects to mere humans that we may encounter life-change like no other.
The power of resurrection, from death to life, is an experience that no one should miss! (somebody should really give God a great shout of Thanksgiving right NOW!)
2 Corinthians 5:17 NLT This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
Most clearly do not understand the fullness of what has happened when a hear surrenders completely to Jesus as their Lord.
Every bit of the old life that was filled with heartache, failure & despair is immediately wiped away as far as the heavenly Father is concerned!

Is there anybody in this place that has truly experienced what God’s Word just said & believe it is the absolute Truth? GLORY
I thank God that He made it possible for me to get a pardon from the State of Oklahoma for my convictions that I was sent to prison for.
But a Full Pardon from heaven of all my sins that I ever committed & then a brand new life to start fresh! GLORY
III. No More Defeat…

Somebody needs to jump up on your feet & give God the biggest victory shout ever…
This is what He has done for everyone who has accepted Him as Lord & Savior.
God’s desire after a person comes into that New Life experience is for that person to start enforcing that legal victory that was made possible thru His Son, Jesus.
1 John 3:8b TPT …The reason the Son of God was revealed was to undo & destroy the works of the devil.
A believer has to come to terms whether or not Jesus did His job.
Ephesians 6:11;16 AMP Put on the full armor of God [for His precepts are like the splendid armor of a heavily-armed soldier], so that you may be able to [successfully] stand up against all the schemes & the strategies & the deceits of the devil. Above all, lift up the [protective] shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
Do you see how exciting Easter gets when you realize what all really happened on that day that the Son of God got up out of that grave.
You don’t just exist & try to survive anymore, you are given the insight to start Thriving in your life no matter what kind of circumstances are happening!
Revelation 12:10-11 TPT Then I heard a triumphant voice in heaven proclaiming: “Now salvation & power are set in place, & the kingdom reign of our God & the ruling authority of His Anointed One are established. For the accuser of our brothers & sisters, who relentlessly accused them day & night before our God, has now been defeated —cast out once & for all! They conquered him completely through the blood of the Lamb & the powerful word of their testimony. They triumphed because they did not love & cling to their own lives, even when faced with death.
These being described by John the revelator are those who come to know the “Power of Easter”.
Your testimony, that is established because of what happened to you through the precious blood of Jesus, is what shuts down the effects of the accuser so that I finish this race strong!
It’s Easter (Resurrection Sunday), this will become one of the greatest days in some’s life, just like it did for me 43 Easters ago.
What more do you need to know to make the right decision to accept & follow what Jesus has done just for you?
• All you have to do right now is get out of your seat & come to this altar where Jesus will meet with you.
• Maybe you once walked with Jesus, but have stepped away from following Him, He is calling you back right now.
• The Holy Spirit wants to come into your life & help you walk out this great journey.
