Summary: Encourages the Beliver to trust in God relizing that he (the Beliver) is a sinner.

“God is Blessing Me, Inspite of Myself”

Psalms 67:7 God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.

Every Christian should say; “God is Blessing Me, Inspite of Myself”,

My Desires are Evil (Riches)

Genesis 6:5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that

every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

My Declarations are Evil (Curses)

Matthew 12:34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for

out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

My Deeds are Evil (Deceit)

John 7:7 The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the

works thereof are evil.

Every Christian should say; “God is Blessing Me, Inspite of Myself”, because of the

truths found in God’s Word.

Mark 5:1-20

1) I am Being Reproved (To rebuke for a fault or misdeed; scold.)

1A) I am Reproved with Light

John 3:17-20 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but

that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not

condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not

believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation,

that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because

their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to

the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

1B) I am Reproved with Love

Hebrews 12:6-8 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son

whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for

what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? But if ye be without chastisement,

whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

1C) I am Reproved with Longevity

Matthew 18:21-22 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother

sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto

thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

2) I am Being Replenished (To fill or make complete again)

Ephesians 5:18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the

Spirit;

2A) Replenished with Wisdom

Proverbs 1:1-7 The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel; To know

wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding; To receive the

instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity To give subtilty to the simple,

to the young man knowledge and discretion. A wise man will hear, and will increase

learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels: To understand a

proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings. The fear

of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

2B) Replenished in my Walk

Ephesians 5:1-2 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in

love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a

sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

2C) Replenished in my Warfare

Romans 7:21-25 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with

me. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: But I see another law in my

members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the

law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me

from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with

the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling

down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth

itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the

obedience of Christ;

3) I am Being Rewarded (To be Blessed)

3A) Rewarded with Companionship

Hebrews 13:5-6 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with

such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So

that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do

unto me.

3B) Rewarded with Care

Genesis 15:1 After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision,

saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

3C) Rewarded with Crowns

The Incorruptible Crown (I become all things to men, that I may win some, to the

weak, weak, to the strong, strong.)

1 Corinthians 9:24-25 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one

receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that striveth for the

mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but

we an incorruptible.

The Crown of Righteousness

2 Timothy 4:7-8 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept

the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord,

the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them

also that love his appearing.

The Crown of Life

James 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall

receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

The Crown of Glory

1 Peter 5:2-4 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight

thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;

Neither as being lords over God
