I. Lack of knowledge -- Hosea 4:6 -- "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children."
II. Fellowship with the wicked -- Jeremiah 5:26 -- "For among my people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men."
III. Lack of vision -- Proverbs 29:18 -- "Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he."
