TIME
Ps 90:12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
A- God has a plan / Time does not affect our God - Eternal
1- He has a plan for mankind - redemption - immortality / destruction - second death
Rom 2:6-8 Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: But
unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
2- He has a plan for you / individual
Acts 9:11-15
-God had a plan for Saul as an individual
1 Cor 12:11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
-God wants to use everyone for the kingdom work
B - We need a plan-/ Time does affect us - We do not need to drift aimlessly
1 - As a people we need
a- Truth - for us and our children
b- Holiness beyond ‘the law’
c- Worship
d- continual checking of corporate growth
2- As individuals
-Same as above -Mention each category above
cannot have corporate without individual
C- Timing and wasted time
Rom 5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
1- Timing is very important
a- using a spiritual gift Prov 15:23
b- listening to God
2 Cor 5:18-19 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us
the ministry of reconciliation;
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and
hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
1- We have a great work with limited time/no time to waste
Ps 102:11 My days are like a shadow that declineth; and I am withered like grass.
James 4:14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that
appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
a- we must take heed to the time we have and find our place of calling and progress there
b- we must never live as if we own tomorrow

*Time for gospel work is now
*Time for commitment to Christ is now
