1.FAVOUR OF GOD
Romans 16;20 Acts 9;31 , Psalms 46;8-11
The favour of God helps us to inherit the promise . He is the God of peace who will crush Satan under our feet. He gave rest to the churches who were under persecution. He makes wars to cease. His favour will cause us to experience victories and blessings.
2.FAITH VISION
II Kings 6;15-17 , Psalm 34;7
We must see through the eyes of faith in the midst of intense trials and battles. Elisha’s servant saw with his natural eyes and was frightened to see the vast army against them .But when God opened his eyes he could see the heavenly host surrounding them.We must learn to see with the eyes of faith and realise the vast heavenly army standing on our behalf. Through the eyes of faith we can see the blessings in store for us instead of seeing the problems that surround us.
3.FORCES OF GOD
II Chronicles 20;15-17 , Zechariah 4;6-7
We must realise that the battle is the Lord’s .Even before the creation of man the battle has been raging between God and the devil. When we join the kingdom of God we are also involved in this battle.Satan directs his attacks on us.In this battle we must realise that it is not our battle in which we ask God to help us.It is primarily God’s battle in which we are a part. Therefore the entire forces of God are backing us up to ensure the victory. This battle is fought with the power of the spirit of God not with human strength and
wisdom.
4.FIGHT THE DEVIL
James 4;7 Matthew 11;12
We cannot afford to be passive if when we want to inherit the promise. We should resist the devil to make him flee. If we avoid any confrontation with the devil he will occupy our promised land and deprive us of our inheritance with God. Jesus said the kingdom of God suffers violence and the violent take it by force . Therefore we must get involved in warfare to inherit our promise.
5.FAITHFULNESS OF GOD
Numbers 23;19-23 Exodus 3;14 , Malachi 3;6 , Hebrews 13;8
We must have an unshakable faith in the faithfulness of God. God is not a man to keep changing his mind. When He has blessed us we remain blessed. Barak could not get Balaam to curse the people of Israel because they were already blessed by God .We must have the firm assurance in the faithfulness of God in fulfilling His promises . This will help us to inherit the promises of God in our life.
