I recently read in Newsweek Magazine’s Special Double Edition Magazine an article that caused me to write the Lesson for today. The article wastitled "The God Game No More". Now after reading this, I was righteously angered. I thought,"Ya! You think so? How dare you say such a thing!" I then heard God’s Voice say to me, "Then do something about it...Write a
lesson/teaching on it." So Here I am. I do hope that it will give you an insight into how much science is trying to play God and"New Agers" like the Raelian cult are supporting them.
In the article woman by the name of Brigitte Boisselier is convinced cloning a human being isn’t just good science - it’s a religious imperative. Since when? She goes on to say that as a trained Chemist and
a Bishop of a sect (Raelians) that believes scientists from another planet created life here on earth. She and other followers of the "Raelian" religion say cloning is a key to humanity’s future. Sure! If
you are the Antichrist! Sure! If you make an image of yourself as the Anti-Christ!(Rev 13:14-15) Despite the warnings from scientists who say such practices are fraught with potential health risks, some Raelians
have built a secret U.S. laboratory and vowed to create the first human clone this year. They also believe that the Feds have no legal right to stop them.The article only gets worse from there.
I. Creation:
============
First let me say this......I know for a fact that God will win out over "cloning" everytime! Cloning is of man’s desire to play God and of the devil. God’s creation are His and each one is unique and special in his eyes. First, let’s start with the very beginning. Turn in your Bibles to Genesis 1:1-28. I will show proof that God created all there is that is on and in this earth, including the earth itself.
(1)"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. (2)And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.(3) And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. (4)And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 5) And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. (6) And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.(7) And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. (8) And God called the firmament Heaven.And the evening and the morning were the second day.(9) And God said, Let
the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. (10) And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.(11)And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.(12)

cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.(27)So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.(28)
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth."
There is no denying that God created all things and man is trying to play God. I have a big news flash for them...They will never succeed in doing what God can do! God also tells us what will happen to His
creation because of sin and trying to play "God". Turn to the Book of Mark 13:19. " For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time,
neither shall be." This also is told to us in Romans 8:22 "For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now." But God has given us a commandment that will leave no excuse for
anyone not to know God is the Creator, the Alpha and Omega of all things. In Mark 16:15, Jesus says " And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."
II.The Creator

As we have seen in Genesis 1, verses 1-28, God is the creator of all that is in and on the earth that is good. Now turn to Isaiah 40:26,28 Here again, we see that God created all things. (26)"Lift up your eyes
on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth. (28) Hast
thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? There is no searching of his understanding."
Even the Prophets of the Old testament acknowledge that God is the Creator. If we turn to the books of Isaiah, in chapters 45:7; 65:18 and 66:1-2, we are again told by God that He created all things. (7)"I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. (18) But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.(1) Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?(2)For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word."
God even goes on to tell us that what we see and consider is made by His hand and His hand alone. Look at Isaiah 41:20, 43:7 and 45:6,12. (20)"That they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together,
that the hand of the LORD hath done this, and the Holy One of Israel hath created it.(7) Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him. (6)
That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.(12)I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have
stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded." This is also re-affirmation that HE IS GOD and He created all things.
When we look into the book of Revelation, we again see the affirmation that God is the Creator of all things; but He also issued forth a warning to all mankind. It was again revealed to the Apostle John in chapter 4, verse 11 and again in chapter 10, verse 6.(11)"Thou art
worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. (6)"And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:" Time is running out and man’s evil doings, lies and deceptions are about to end
III. Playing God
================
There is no denying that God is the only creator and what is in and of the earth has been created by Him; yet man persists to try to play "God" in all things where the earth and man are concerned. Let’s go to Isaiah 40:17-21 and see what God says about "graven images, be they of flesh or wood or metal and the like. (17)"All nations before him are as nothing;
and they are counted to him less than nothing, and vanity.(18)To whom then will ye liken God? or what likeness will ye compare unto him?(19)The workman melteth a graven image, and the goldsmith spreadeth it over with gold, and casteth silver chains.(20)He that is so impoverished that he hath no oblation chooseth a tree that will not rot; he seeketh unto him a cunning workman to prepare a graven image, that shall not be
moved.(21)Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth?"
It is obvious that even God knows the hearts of man....even before they were created or born on this planet. God knew that man would try to play "God" and man would deny His (God’s) very existance in any way they could. If they couldn’t then they would come up with other ways to disprove the existance by creating life itself. Go to Revelation 13:11-15. Here we discover the very thing that God warned about is
taking place and will play a role in the Tribulation that is to come. First let’s look at Isaiah 45:20, regarding this warning then turn to Revelation."Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save." Why did
God say,"set up the Wood of their graven image"? Because their "cloned image" will be as wood, because it will have no soul that only can be given by God. Cloned images of oneself cannot receive the most important part of the fabric of their make up...the soul. Man may create flesh and bone, but only God can give that creation a soul. Since that is not a creation of God, but of man’s sin and that of satan. It will have no soul and will only do vile and evil things.
No turn to Revelation 13: 11-15. (11)"And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a
dragon.(12)And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. (13) And he doeth great
wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,(14)And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the
beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.(15)And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the
image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed." Again we see that what comes out of evil only brings evil...and the "graven image" is one
of pure evil. We also see another warning that God gives regarding the acts of creating graven images in Romans 1:25 and Isaiah 45:16,18.(25)"Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served
the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. (16)"They shall be ashamed, and also confounded, all of them: they shall go to confusion together that are makers of idols. (18)"For thus saith
the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else."
Graven images are images of one’s self. These images are created out of man’s vanity and desire to be superior to everyone else, including God, himself! Cloning is the "graven image" and mankind with people such as the Raelians and Brigitte Boisselier are soon going to find themselves stepping from this life into eternal damnation. For those others that follow this line of thinking, they too will find themselves in the very same predictament, from which there is no escape. It might be also noted that they are violating the first and second Commandments of God (Exodus 20:2-17 - Ten Commandments [kjv]). "Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of ANYTHING that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or is
in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, not serve them; For I the Lord thy God AM a jealous God, visiting iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generations of them that hate me.Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord, will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain." "Let he who hath an ear hear and he who hath
an eye see."
IV. Hope For God’s People

Take heed to what the Lord says to his people: (Isaiah 45:21,23 and I Peter 4:19. "Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it
from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.(22)"Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is
none else.(23)I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.(19)Wherefore let them that suffer
according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator."
For all who remain steadfast and faithful to the Lord and in the Lord, they have nothing to fear, for the Lord your God will preserve and keep you from all harm and evil doings." No matter how much mankind, under
the influence and direction of satan try to dismiss God and play God..they will only fail and condemn themselves. Not one person or fallen angel can be God or replace God! There is only one God, One Son
of God and one Holy spirit. All others are false Christs, lies and deception.
