Summary: Do you want real life?

This passage is a comparison of the life that the devil has to offer, verses “The” life that Jesus wants us to have.

Thief

 His main purpose is to steal. (Our joy, our life in Christ, our salvation)

 He will kill and destroy in the process of stealing these things.

 A thief will try to deceive us so that he can steal of life from us.

 Use LESSONS OF LIFE ILLUSTRATION.

 People think that they are free to pursue whatever they want. This is part of the great deception of the enemy whose purpose is to steal your life and joy from you!

Jesus

 Jesus wants us to have the life that God has to offer.

 It is not a life in which we just get by, but it is a life that is full of joy.

 He wants us to have free access to Him and the life that He has to offer.

 JOHN 16:24 "Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full.

 ACT 4:33 And with great power the apostles were giving witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and abundant grace was upon them all.

 2CO 1:5 For just as the sufferings of Christ are ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ.

John 14:6 says, “ Jesus *said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me.

Conclusion

Are you existing, eating, sleeping, breathing, working. Are you really living life? Life is found abundantly at the cross of Jesus! Let’s show the world the real life!
