“Herod’s”:
Herod Antipas—a son of Herod the Great—Roman tetrarch of Galilee & Peraea.
Took his brother Herod Philip’s wife Herodias.
He cast John the Baptist into prison.
“Herod’s steward”— ‘Had charge of Herod’s domestic affairs, to provide for it or ‘Including care & tutelage of children.’
*Joseph was a steward over Potiphar’s house.
Christian Men & Women are influencers of households/businesses/schools/governments/neighborhoods, etc...not just for morality’s sake but for salvation’s & Kingdom’s sake.
*The Gospel cuts across all boundaries!—Universally influential

Prov. 22:29—“Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before obscure men.”
Lk. 21:12-15—“But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you & will persecute you, delivering you to the synagogues & prisons, bringing you before kings & governors for My name’s sake. “It will lead to an opportunity for your testimony. “So make up your minds not to prepare beforehand to defend yourselves; for I will give you utterance & wisdom which none of your opponents will be able to resist or refute.”
Mat. 10:16-20—“Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; therefore be shrewd as serpents, & innocent as doves. “But beware of men; for they will deliver you up to the courts, & scourge you in their synagogues; & you shall even be brought before governors & kings for My sake, as a testimony to them & to the Gentiles. “But when they deliver you up, do not become anxious about how or what you will speak; for it shall be given you in that hour what you are to speak. “For it is not you who speak, but it is the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.”
