#4 Dare to read and study the Bible

Some of this is repetition on purpose.
Repetition is a literary tool to stress important points.

Matt 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, YE DO ERR, NOT KNOWING THE SCRIPTURES, NOR THE POWER OF GOD.
Part #4 Let us read and accept the commanded to study and MEDITATE DAILY WITH our Bibles.
Be still, meditate.
We have been pondering the imperative command of God’s Word to STUDY.
Many read the Bible, but we must discipline the flesh to study and apply our hearts to know the Bible.
There are no sadder words, of pen or tongue, than the words what might have been ...
God has a plan.
We need to know there are many danger zones we must avoid....
The ignorance of ignorant, and ignorance in action.
Ignorance is a cruel tool of our enemy.
This tool brings doubt, fear, sin, superstition, sickness, and offense ....
ALL FROM THE LACK OF STUDY.
It is not enough to have a good mind.
We must know the main thing is to use our minds well.
The young boy told his Grandpa, ...
"It is useless to study the Bible. I can’t remember anything. The Bible is just a book of begets, ... so in so beget so in so. Reading it does me no good!"
The Grandpa pondered, then said to the boy, ...
"Get the basket we carry coal to the stove in and run to the river and get me a basket of water!"
So the young boy grabbed the dirty old coal basket and ran quickly to the river.
He dipped the basket in the water and ran home. By the time he got home, the basket was empty.
Grandpa scolded the lad and sent him back to the river for water.
Again the basket leaked all the water out before the lad could get home.
The third time was the same.
The boy said,... "It’s no use Grandpa, I can’t get the water to stay in the basket!"
Grandpa replied,..."Look at the basket!"
The boy looked and the dirty coal dust in the basket was washed out and the basket was clean.
Grandpa said,... "That is the way the Word of God is, you may think it is not accomplishing it’s purpose, but it will wash you clean, and change your attitudes."
You may not understand everything when you study,
you might even forget a lot of what you study.
But if you will continue and be faithful to study the Bible,
God will use you to bring Him glory.
Knowledge of the Word of God is good, ignorance of God’s word is evil and will bring evil.
Look at some students in the book of Acts 17:11 ---

If we establish good study habits and reinforce them until the habit roots in our families, we would see the plan of God better.
Many times, we should apply the coals of the altar to our lips until we know the heart of God.
We should study our words and answers.
Proverbs 15:28 The heart of the righteous STUDIETH to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things.
We have lost the beauty of STANDING STILL.
It requires faith and trust to stand still.
We develop spirits that like to run like a chicken with it’s head cut off.
We haven’t studied and we rather run and look busy and wait tables, and take the spotlight off our weak areas.
If we would slow down and allow the spirit to do His Office Work,
we would find there is beauty and joy in MEDITATING ON GOD’S GOODNESS.
Isaiah 40 says even when the young and strong faint, God releases refreshments to those that WAIT upon the Lord.
We would rather press and push, than study.
We rant and rave.
When we should release our faith and mediate on the WORD.
The word of God beats valium.
Isaac was at a very critical point in his life.
His dad was old.
The plan of God seemed slow to develop.
Genesis 24:63 Isaac went out TO MEDITATE IN THE FIELD at eventide: ...
This highly suggest that Isaac made a habit at a chosen time to MEDITATE.
Isaac was a "Son of Promise," yet he disciplined his daily walk to meditate, to study, to imagine, to dream, to pray.
This difficult time was made easier by meditation and study.
What would happen if we made the flesh to slow down and dwell on the word?
If you are too busy to study, ...YOU ARE TOO BUSY.

A mind studying on the Word of God and meditating on the goodness of God can have perfect peace.
Trust grows in the knowledge and wisdom of God’s Holy Word.
Any minister that does the Work of God by the Word of God needs: ...
DAILY MENTAL VENTILATION.
We must be refreshed and renewed daily, this can only be accomplished by waiting on the Lord.
Burnout or ’BURNED-UP" happens when we side step the process that God has established for us.
The anointing breaks the yoke.
May we be students of the Word. Father teach us to study.
Teach us to learn. Teach us to teach.
Teach us to meditate that we might lay much fruit at Your feet.
