female slave." "…a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us…" (v.16)

B. POSSESSED BY MERCHANTS
Spirit of Greed
"…a certain damsel… which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying…" (v.16)
SOME SEE THEIR CHILDREN AS MERE POSSESSIONS
1. Some attempt to live out their fantasies through their children.
2. They PUSH their children to excel at sports.
3. Winning is everything for these parents.
4. Some Love money more than there own children.
5. Some, like these merchants, seek to make money off of children
C. Perched by the Blood of Jesus
a. SHE NEEDED REDEMPTION
1. She was possessed by demons.
2. She was possessed by merchants.
3. But, she was BOUGHT BY GOD!
Now she is indwelt with the Kings of King Lord of Lord’s
1 Corinthians 6: 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
